In my mind, I was prepared to have to buy a new one even though this was only 1.25 years old. Michael said there were programs running in the background and that was the problem. My friend, who had just moved to NY, called me telling me that the laptop I had setup for her had…read morecompletely stopped working. I spent several hours on the phone with her trying absolutely anything I could think of. With limited options at that point, I did some quick research and found PC Med Center which was very close to her house. Not knowing if they were going to give good service, or scam her, or what, I crossed my fingers and told her to take it there. A few days later she called me to thank me for the recommendation. Apparently it was just a single loose wire, which they were able to identify and fix. They did not overcharge her for what ended up being a fairly simple fix. Props to them for being able to identify the problem so quickly, and not trying to scam her!

Went in and told dan the owner what trouble i was having. He said sure he can take care of it. 4 days later he still had not looked at it and now said laptop won't power on. He said he took everything apart and checked it out. HE LIED. I took the laptop back and took the laptop apart myself. Thermal paste and everything i had upgraded was not touched. When returning laptop to me he told me he had it all apart and would reassemble in about 20 minutes. Well 1 minute later he gave everything back to me. This is how i know he did jack shit As far as people giving him 5 star reviews i wouldn't be surprised that the names were made up and they posted themselves If he had done right by me i would have given him some more business. However since doing nothing and lying to my face i have warned these people to stay away!

I have no freaking clue and no valid reason not to use a repair center like this place. Maybe I'm conditioned to take my products only to apple and let them suck every last dollar out of my bank account for repairs. Bravo to apple for making me think only they can fix my products but I'm no longer fooled by that marketing tactic. Thankfully I decided to trust that someone has the ability to repair my apple products other than apple. I took my iPhone XS Max in for some major repairs; front, back and battery. Alfredo was up front about costs and turnaround times. I was explained my options and dangers of trying to save a quick buck in the long run. I trusted the Jedi Masters recommendations and my trust was not ill placed. My phone was masterfully repaired and warranties explained clearly. I'm super grateful to have come across this business and will most certainly call again if I need any electronic repairs. I didn't realize they even do video game consoles so next time I get freaking controller drift I'll call to see if they can fix that type of annoyance that seems to plague new gen console controllers.
