This is a store I go out of my way to shop at. I don't know whether I can get certain things at a…read morebigger store like Lowes or Home Depot for less expensive, but I honestly don't care -- the folks who work there are super nice and knowledgeable and take their time to help you find something. There's also always someone there to help me bring the heavy stuff to the car, and no one will accept a tip -- "happy to help" seems to be their tag line. They're also great about referring customers to other local businesses if they don't have something I'm looking for. A recent example was I was looking for a hori-hori (google it, it will change your life). They had some tools that looked similar and probably could've sort of done the trick -- but someone working there told me where I could find an actual one on Main Street. Found it, bought it -- and told the folks working there how I learned about them. Builds community and relationship as opposed to competition. Dig it. These folks are my go to -- highly recommend them.
