They quoted me $92, not because it was heavy but because of the size of the box. Needless to say I opted to try something else. I called The Mailbox store and spoke to a guy who explained that the charge is based not only the weight but the size of the box. He said they have multiple boxes for sale and if I came in, we could try and find a cheaper solution. I stopped in on the way home and after a couple of different "fittings" we found the smallest box that would fit the coat. Total cost including the box $47. This store is under new ownership and I highly recommend them for any shipping needs plus whatever other services they provide.

There sales where the prices of my software and little Canon Selphy printer were competitive with NewEgg*. The custom printing department was also a tremendous help when selecting card stock and helping to field such a one-off request. I couldn't even find a hobby/gaming shop in the city to help me, but these guys did. And when I couldn't find ink cartridges for my Selphy? A sales associate gladly led me to CMYK to my heart's content*. When I was an idiot and bought clear contact paper instead of white? A sales associate made the return process fast and efficient. * Sometimes I pretend that I am 1337.
