So while hubby and neighbor waited for them, they were able to stage A LOT! They worked so hard because we have a few very difficult items to move upstairs. They never got frustrated, and the only curse words spoken were from me! I hired an extra mover and I'm so glad I did. A truly fabulous crew. I highly recommend Bekins for your next move. The only company that would help was Cross Town Movers who said its a small job and they would do it on their way to another job first thing in the morning in a couple of days. Wow customer service is not dead. Matt W and Josh F showed up right on time and were very friendly and got right to work getting the fountain pieces out of my wife's van and to our patio. My mom and I stumbled across Kaylinn by happenstance, through yelp, and it was the best luck we'd had on our trip. Kaylinn was a rockstar! She was responsive, quick to offer packing help, showed up early to my grandma's apartment (THE VERY NEXT DAY), brought extra packing supplies just in case, was highly knowledgeable and creative and hustled her butt off while the three of us packed up the entire apartment in 4 hours! I can't say enough kind words about Kaylinn and the moving company she partners with - they became lifesavers when life was throwing some pretty fast curve balls our way. Even after she helped us pack the apartment - she was instrumental in coordinating the movers, the loading of the boxes and the shipment of the stuff from Oregon to the San Francisco Bay Area. She even returned the keys to the leasing office for us since we were out of state!!!! Truly saved us from multiple headaches and also having to travel to back Oregon ourselves!
