Parts at other places were even cheaper. They said the cost for the "high-quality" parts was $800. I spoke with many mechanics who said the parts from Autozone will work perfectly fine. Scott's couldn't tell me what brand they use for parts because the price gouging would expose them. The point is, be very careful when dealing with them because you WILL pay more than other shops for just the parts. Do your research and don't trust solely on positive reviews. Today was the 2nd time something like this happened out there. I took my 03 pickup in yesterday and told Kevin I think the starter is going out. He called this morning and said they pulled it in, looked at it and found the nut holding the power cable on had backed off just enough to lose connection intermittently. They could have just stuck a new starter on and charged $300 or $400. They charged a half hour labor and handed the key back with a smile. It's stuff like that that keeps folks coming back. I wish they worked on boats too. I can't express to you how highly I recommend these guys.

His claim was that there was something else wrong and was gonna be expensive to fix it. The electrical problem was fixed, but when I took it to another shop, they checked it with gauges and it had double the amount of refrigerant that it was supposed to have. Removed the extra refrigerant the air began to work perfectly. The shop owner called me stupid and refuses to make this right. He charged me for a pressure switch and in another line charge me for a pressure switch plus a connector two separate charges the same switch and refuses to listen to reason. He's left me with no choice but to forward the documentation from his shop and the other shop to the attorney general I will give an update on how that works out
