Bob's quite literally saved me thousands of dollars. I had been dealing with an issue on my car for…read moremonths where the car would not shift properly. The first mechanic I took it to could not figure out the issue. The second one, a dealer, told me I needed a complete replacement, quoting me over 7 grand. When I took it to Bob's, the guy drove it hundreds of miles trying to figure out the issue, but couldn't get the problem to replicate. He explained the code he was getting and why he could not, "in good conscience," sell me a new transmission. He recommended I wait it out a bit longer so they could get the issue to replicate. Well, I'm glad they recommended that! He explained they believed it was a faulty sensor, that was it! Just a little under $500 fix, when the other mechanic assured me that it needed to be replaced for over $7.5k. He was honest, explaining that they couldn't be 100% certain, but they were fairly sure the sensor replacement would solve the issue. They saved me $7k. As a college student trying to pay my way through college, that extra $7k will help pay for my education and reduce the amount of loans I have to take out. I cannot thank them enough for troubleshooting and doing their jobs exceptionally well with consideration for my financial and personal circumstances. The care, compassion, and honesty Bob's showed me is unmatched. For any issues in the future, I'll be giving them a call, and I recommend anyone reading this do the same.

Since no repair shop was open, I had to wait until Monday morning to find a place. I called C & K, while at a different repair shop, to see if they could get me in immediately, since the other place I was at said it could be hours before they get me in. C & K told me that if I could get right over, they would at least get it right into the shop to look at it, which is what the place I was at initially told me, and then my kids and I sat for an hour and the car wasn't even looked at. Less than 5 minutes after I got to C & K, they pulled it into the shop and began work. Since I was with my young children, who were getting bored after a while of sitting in the waiting room, I had asked the best route for us to take to walk to the nearby movie theater. They said they would be happy to drive us there, and when we were dropped off, we were told to call when we wanted a ride back! What unbelievable service. I got a call near the end of the movie saying the car was ready. It had needed a new fuel injector and spark plugs, and a few other minor things. The price was also less than I was prepping for! This unfortunate day, which also happened to be my birthday, was made so much better because of the wonderful people at C & K Automotive. We were on our way home by 2pm that day, and were able to salvage my birthday. I highly recommend C & K for any automotive work that you need. My bf referred her to Mr. Shifts for transmission service, advising he has heard GREAT things about them, at prices that nobody can beat. Fast forward to today, my mom is STILL driving the same car with the transmission they rebuilt. Mind you, this car was already well used by the time she bought it and then subsequently had the transmission go out. But since Mr. Shifts rebuilt it she has had ZERO related issues 7ish years later. The reason I'm posting this now is because my sister's transmission just went out and I told her to call Mr. Shifts as they might be able to rebuild hers also.
