I have been a Lincare customer for several years. I have never felt that I got professional service from them. I have gone to their office 2 times within the past year and both time I never got in the door. An older gentleman came outside and talked to me,went back inside , and then came back out again to talk to me some more. The last time I went to get a headgear for my CPAP machine and they met me on the front sidewalk and told me they were out of the headgear. Several days later I went back to get the headgear and they advised me that they did not have the name brand headgear but had an after market headgear that was just as good. After using it one month it fell apart. It was a piece of crap. I ultimately got online and ordered the correct headgear from another company. I was sent the proper headgear and it has worked fine. I am very disappointed with Lincare and am thinking about changing CPAP supplier. I could not recommend them. Richard and Avon Adams, both Lincare customers. read more

Through a screwup through one of their drivers I have all of a sudden been told I'm not a customer. I do have their concentrator and now I have a hole in one of my hoses and buy cannula. I called they told me I was not a patient and I would have to start over. Meantime my oxygen is not running word supposed to be since it has holes in it I did get a new medical necessity that they say they have not received but still 24 hours later I have a headache from my oxygen being so low And I would advise you to never ever use this service. I am hoping the DME gods will bring me cannulas and a new hose. At this point it will have to be from Lincare so you can imagine that I'm worried about receiving it. read more

Delivered medical bed that was rusty and stained our carpet with whatever they tried to clean it with before they brought it in our house. And when we move my mom in it, the next morning we noticed a bed bug looking bug ( had to google bed bug to figure out what it looked like) on the bed, so we had to move my mom back into her bed. Called Lindale to get the bed out of our house and we had to call pest control services to make sure there wasn't bedbugs in that room afterwards. They said that they would refund me partially. Now 8 months later they are still sending my mom a bill. She has passed by the way. I've called several times to get them to stop sending a bill but not one person knows what to do! I don't even want to give Lincare one star. My first negative encounter was when I made an appointment and they didn't write it in their appointment book. I missed work, showed up at the time they told me, and they denied making the appointment, as if I would dream that up. They denied even talking to me on the phone, even though I showed them my call log and gave them the name of the person I talked with. The next negative encounter was when my sleep equipment stopped working and they couldn't or wouldn't work me in. I understand a full schedule, however, I will be going without sleep for 48 hours, until they can take a look at my device. No one here ever offers to go the extra mile. There is no working with these people. They don't care if your issue is urgent. They won't offer any solution to try to help you out. Perhaps they are understaffed and poorly managed. They cannot seem to make accommodations that medical equipment requires. For this reason I would never recommend them. Now, when it comes to purchasing replacement parts at scheduled intervals they ring your phone off the hook trying to squeeze every penny they can get. I have complied with every replacement recommendation resulting in hundreds of dollars over the years. Lincare is a horrible medical equipment provider and I wish I had never selected them in the first place. Terrible, terrible customer service. read more

If your doc tells you they're sending a referral to Lincare, tell them NO! It's been over a month since referral and still no call from Lincare. I even called and left messages. Whoever is running this company has to go. People's live's are at stake and this company could obviously care less. Pathetic read more

They do ok with CPAP and home oxygen contrators. Have been waiting over a year for a portable concentrator. Am considering changing supplier . They do provide oxygen cylinders for portable use, being fair. read more

DO NOT USE! I was told that my machine would be under rental for 60 days, at which time my insurance company would pay for it. I did not receive the bill letting me know that was not the case for 6 months. The people at the local center have been nice, but you only see them to receive your first supplies and machine. After that you deal with the supply distribution center which is an absolute nightmare. Also heaven forbid your insurance changes at all. The distribution center will tell you that your changes have been entered and your supplies will arrive in 10 business days but never show up. So you will call again and be told the same thing, only to never receive your supplies. Nobody will call to notify you that you have problems with your insurance. They will just keep telling you that your supplies will be shipped but they never are. I have been having to pay for my own medical supplies from a full-cost warehouse the last 7 months because of this in the middle of a pandemic after having to quit my job to take care of my mentally disabled child. I changed insurances again and I tried to order supplies while my prescription was still valid. But called today after being told they would be rush ordered (surprise, surprise they aren't here) and was told today that my prescription is no longer valid. And, don't try to use their website for dispute resolution. The link to send in your complaint doesn't even work on any browser and won't show up as a link when you inspect the page. Also don't contact the iCare team who is supposed to help you, because they won't. They will just send you back to the escalations department. Also don't ask for an email when you are done attempting to contact every department to figure out the problem and having been transferred to multiple people over and over again, because they "don't have emails." I have obstructive sleep apnea where my oxygen sats will drop into the low 80s and the medical supply company who is supposed to assist me and care for me as a patient hasn't helped me AT ALL in the last 7 months. So I do not recommend under any circumstances that you use this company. There is another local company in Athens and multiple others in Tyler, TX that are smaller and have better customer service and where you can physically pick up your supplies instead of dealing with a distribution center. read more

CPAP/Bipap supplies :Miscommunication... They communicate with one another but not with the patient. If they did keep the patient in the loop you could tell them where a study was done instead of them assuming they know and wasting time. You could call the office of your physician if they are having a hard time getting the records or your insurance company if needed. The employees of Lincare, answer your questions with a barrage of "haven't gotten precert from your insurance/don't have records from your physicians office" as well as lengthy hold times and complaints about waiting patients and back loads. Lincare staff are not forthcoming on the phone, it's like pulling teeth to get any information for the lack of progress. When you push hard enough you find they do have precert, and one phone call from me and they have the records. Apnea is too worrisome a problem to put in Lincare's hands. Go elsewhere, anywhere else. Save yourself a lot of annoying time consuming frustration AND help them out with their ever increasing "backload". read more

They talk a good game; but when it comes to living up to their promises, this company falls short. The local people are really good and want to do what is right; but their corporate overhead leaves them dangling. My Oxygen therapy was ordered by my Doctor back on 06/26/2018. The prescription called for 2 oxygen generators (one for home use and one for travel). It is now 07/10/2018 and I still do not have a travel generator and not even a promise as to when I'll receive it. I'm currently in Pulmonary Re-Hab and have been instructed to bring and use my portable Oxygen for certain exercises. Lincare Corporate should know better than accepting orders that they can not fill in a timely fashion. When I asked about the brand of equipment I would receive, I was told that it changes, depending on who offers Lincare the best deal. Well, I called several manufactures of the equipment and there is no shortage in the supply lines; in fact they offered next day free delivery, if purchased directly from them.
