Miso Soup
Kalia A.

As they say, the juice is not worth the squeeze. The food here is not truly authentic and I wish the portions were better on the protein. The service is OK they're not really accommodating when it comes to your food either (IE I wanted half veggies and half lo mein, and in order to do that they will charge you an extra side). I've never eaten there in person because I always use the drive-through but they move through pretty quickly so I guess the ambience is chill? Below is the rating of the food I ordered: *Lo Mein: 1/5 - flavorful but very thick and starchy *Mongolian Chicken: 4/5 - very well seasoned. *Miso Soup: 0/5 - I didn't even eat it after the first few sips.

My brother placed an order by phone and went and picked up the food. He said just walking in you could feel how dirty the restaurant is . Came back with the food my sister in law ordered a veggie delight plate ate some but then she started looking through the food and noticed a live worm in the food. Totally disgusting. Everyone immediately stopped eating the food. So gross will never ever go back there ever again

Food always hot, fresh, and delicious. Plus friendly and speedy service. Was able to call it in but because it was a large order had to pay beforehand which is understandable. Will go back.

Beef in mushroom lacking in flavor
Amanda R.

We ordered Mongolian beef, orange chicken, Beef and mushroom. The food was lacking in flavor, the noodles were not better than Panda Express. Mongolian had so much onions no bell pepper. Tried it but will never recommend or return. With to go orders there's pressure to tip. We didn't eat inside.

Jalapeño chicken

Jalapeño chicken is the best in town and the lemon in water it's outstanding Good stuff I'll definitely come back Mmmmmmm

Crispy Orange Beef

Really great serving sizes for low prices. I love the quality of the Orange Beef (like Beijing beef at Panda Express) and Hot'n'Sour soup. The boba isn't as pretty as the signs on the windows, but still taste alright. I really like the Matcha Slush. Very creamy. I recommend this place for a good Chinese lunch, if you can sit in and enjoy soup while you wait for your entrees. The appetizers (rangoons/egg rolls) come out immediately and are included with your meal. The soup sizes are nice for individual sizes and still shareable. I think it's a great deal!

Crab rangoon.. Barely has cheese in it!

They forgot the sauce for our sweet n sour chicken. Crab rangoon has barely cheese in it. It used to be good. What happened???

Took forever to get my meal through the drive thru. I was in line for 45 mins and it wasn't even a long line. Portions were insane. I had left overs for 4 days. Pricing is very reasonable for the amount you get.

Sesame chicken

This place is our new spot for Asian food. We almost didn't select it based on the reviews but upon reading, the bad reviews were based on time it took to receive their order. I hope my review helps those looking for some yummy food! We went at 5 pm on a Sunday. We decided to place an order via their online website. We are so glad we did! The food took 10 minutes, fresh. It was perfect and organized. We all enjoyed it!!! The portions are huge! There is rice in a separate container for each order and you can choose fried, white or lo mein although lo mein is an up charge. Each order also comes with 3 ragoons . Three of my younger girls ate one sweet and sour plate and had leftovers. I ate the chicken ramen. Yummy! My husband got the sesame chicken. Tasty! My son got the lemon chicken. All great and crispy! This place is great! Give it a try but I would advise you not going through the to go line- it is long. Online is so fast and dine in is quick as well. Clean and safe. Thank you

I've been looking for a solid Chinese and dim sum place and just so happened to stumble on Golden…read moreWok after a kiddos baseball game Sunday afternoon. It was the in between time of late lunch 2:30-3pm so we thought we would miss the Sunday afternoon church rush. The parking lot and restaurant was full but didn't let it scare us. Only had to wait 5 mins. Don't let the full restaurant fool you. The wait staff checks in often and moves tables very fast. Pro tip- you can hang outside and check out the koi fish in the pond to kill some time Sat down and drinks came out fast ordered dim sum which came out in the cute steam baskets first. Shrimp Shumai and pork bao buns were so good. My kids asked for seconds We also ordered the sweet and sour chicken, spicy eggplant/tofu, shrimp& broccoli and the combination fried rice. Everything was perfectly seasoned with the exception of the sweet and sour chicken. It was very bland. Next time I want to order the orange peel chicken instead. Looked good and now we know! So much food we'll have leftovers for a few days. Score!

My daughter and I cannot recommend this restaurant. It was better 15 years ago…read more It is too westernize now; meaning the food is more cater/made for western taste. When you walk in up to the restaurant, the view of ponds with large koi fish was very welcoming, however as soon as you open the door/walk in...it's a chaos of sports on tv and western music that will burst your burst your tranquility from the front of the restaurant. The restaurant was busy since it was lunch. We were seated right away. However it took the waitress a few before knowledge our small table. The waitress was in a hurry and look like she already had a bad day. She asked quickly what we would like the drink and we said water and hot tea but ask what type of tea they have? She mumble something I could not understand. So my daughter ask for green tea. We started off with appetizer as usual. Shrimp toast, chicken wrap, Asian bbq ribs then a cup of hot & sour soup. Main dish were Moo Shu Pork and Mongolian beef. Soup came out first...it was lukewarm. Cup was hot but soup was lukewarm. It was vinegary and salty. This is the first time I had seen/tasted imitation crab meat in a hot and sour soup. I'd flag the waitress down to let her know the soup was cold and if she can bring me another or warm it up for me. She gave me an annoying look and took the soup back to the kitchen. The Asian bbq ribs come out then the shrimp toast a few minutes later. The shrimp toast looks appealing. The shrimp were whole shrimp on top of bread, fried bread. It was ok...no real taste and a bit greasy. There were too much honey and chewy/tough for the Asian ribs. My soup comes back hot to touch... which means it was microwave...but not an issues; what was is ...it was still lukewarm soup. I try to finish it but couldn't. Soup needs to be hot; especially hot & sour soup. The chicken lettuce wrap was delivered. It was again salty; no real taste, except for the salt. A lot of mushrooms over powering the this dish. Keep in mind we had a small table and dishes are pilling up. It took a few before anyone came to pickup the plates. Half way through our appetizer, the waitress dropped off Togo boxes with a bag right after the chicken wrap was dropped off.... Staying it's for later. So we went ahead and packup the appetizers into the Togo boxes to make room. The main dishes came out about 10 minutes later. My daughter was very surprised by her Mongolian beef. It looks more like pepper steak then Mongolian beef. Most Mongolian beef are cook with green onions, yellow onion, garlic, sesame seeds and large slices of beef...some with a little sauce other dry so this is a the first for us to see a Mongolian beef looks like that. It was again too salty. There was more bell pepper than beef. The beef was slice small. The moo shu pork come out already wrap?? Which confuse me. Most of the time the thin rice pancake is on the side and moo shu pork is a little sweet and savory that comes with plum sauce so you can spread as little or lot of plum sauce into the rice pancake then top it off with moo shu pork. Since it was all roll up...it was very messy trying to pull it open to put the plum sauce. The dish lack favors...it had a char like taste. Usually moo shu pork is very flavorful and fill with flavorful juice from the ingredients like cabbages, bamboo, onion, mushrooms and eggs. There was no favor except a char taste. I have eaten here before a long time ago and it's definitely not the same taste/food and experience. We pack the food home so we can get a second opinion from other family members and the results were the same. I would never recommend for anyone looking for Asian cuisine. But if you like America/Asian cuisine/atmosphere then this is a place for you.

I will give this place credit, for being a AYCE dim sum spot (if you make a reservation and pay in…read moreadvance for the spot), and somewhere that we can full fill our cravings what may not be the very best but it's good enough! Now let me tell you, I did implant myself from So Cal (sorry!) so I definitely know good dim sum aka Westminster's Seafood Cove #2 being one of the top tier spots. But this was decent to satisfy!! We came here to celebrate my brother in law's birthday. It's a decent sized place! You basically tell them your orders and they will bring it over to you. We ordered the usual things via dim sum; shu mais, pork buns, shrimp rice rolls, short ribs, stir fried noodles for my kids and some veggies option. They even had a dessert cart included which was pretty nice to have! The total vibe on this place is essentially your typical Chinese food joint haha. Workers were really nice and accommodating with our loud kids, mainly my baby parking was ample and shared with other businesses, we would come back again.

Yes, it is really a YES, until that late!!!! Longer hours to enjoy their hot and some are warm delicious Dimsum selections. We just found out about this on Instagram posted by Masked Foodie of San Antonio (@salunchador) and we're glad we visited yesterday. I've been here before like years ago and though the food was decently okay back then, the place was honestly a mess, unorganized and looks slovenly chaotic. I understand that was a busy lunch hour when I visited but it was just a mess. But extremely glad yesterday that (forgot to take a photo) even their sanitary rating is now on the upper A/90s. Service is also extremely impressive, Celia the manager really made sure all guests including us are taken cared of the best they can. There's also this young Asian lady who even brought us a cup of rice and lemon slices though we just realized we could get it ourselves. All service staff especially those with the Dimsum carts including the young lady with a cart full of loose tea leaves selections are extremely warm and cordial. Kudos to Celia who told us that they just started this AYCE Dimsum on weekends about a month ago. Just hope more elite yelpers would come and visit and see how Celia turned this Wok Inn around, though there's still a lot that can be improved as per ambiance of the place but food and service are totally on point, and cleanliness is guaranteed now since the high sanitary rating they got now. Dimsum here is comparable to Golden Wok and besides one person could pay even more there since you end up eating a lot plus the drinks. Here, all drinks even hot tea is included on the price. They also have roasted duck, delicious too!!! We'll definitely be going back, our niece and friends are coming in for a visit from out of town next month and they would surely enjoy it here.

However had never tried it in "tofu form", and not going to lie, this was the one item that caught me and lured me in lol Ended up ordering via Uber Eats because they don't deliver, only via the food delivery apps. The order came 10 minutes earlier than the earliest projected delivery time window!! from having placed the order, to me chomping away on my couch was a total of 25 mins.. which wasn't bad! The food arrived properly and securely packaged, and nice and hot too! Flavor on the Pad Thai is on point! I only would've liked for it be be a tad bit "saucier", but the flavor was there. Tried some of the Orange Tofu and it was tasty!! Wish it brought more sauce, and maybe that it was thickened with cornmeal (?) as it was a bit runny and would've loved for it to be "sticky".. but again, the flavors were on point!
