Giving 4 star bc of the young girl in the front(3 for the food) she was so friendly when taking my order over the phone and also when I got there to pay. Food isn't bad but not the best, but man do they get ur order out quick. So u can hear everything from the kitchen so my recommendation to them is that they might wanna watch what they say bc again u can hear it all. We got several items, the mi filial beef had so much more peppers and onions than it did actual beef and the sesame chicken had more nodules and rice than chicken. And they have white rice instead of fried. Would go again but Prob stick to what we typically order.

Singapore Noodle combo

Food is excellent and flavorful, the lunch servings are large so bring a appetite. I love they're pad Tai combo and Singapore noodles. If you dine in there is an unlimited soup bar, as well as table service. Friendly staff clean dining area. If I have one complaint it would be that the vinyl on the seats need to be redone, as many are cracked.

Lunch Deluxe Combo with Lemon Chicken & Stir Fry Shrimp. Rice, egg roll, soup & drink included for only $8.75.

It's hard now days to find very good egg rolls. Many restaurants have switched to frozen to cut costs & time. Once you experience the homemade egg rolls from Wok Inn, you'll be coming back for more. That's the reason I've been a customer for years. Whenever I'm in the area for work, Wok Inn is always considered for lunch. The food is always prepared fresh and consistently good. The lunch specials are hard to beat, includes rice, egg roll, soup of choice & drink. There's also an option for a combination lunch meal for the days you're extra hungry. With the current COVID-19 situation, everything is served in "to go" containers, even if dining in. All of my dining experiences have been great here . The staff is always genuinely friendly. The only complaint I have is Wok Inn has raised my egg roll standards! Lol Whenever I have a good egg roll craving, I know where to go.

Metal shaving

Dont eat here!! Food has mental shavings!!! owner didnt even bother showing her face and offering an apology. This has been reported to the city!! Had to put a star to post this review but it should be 0 stars! Ridiculous!

Chicken not cooked

First time trying this place $33 for two not worth it Walking in you will smell bleach The food was cold and not cooked all the way. I got the walnut shrimp-Veggies were just chopped and placed with the hot shrimp. The lemon chicken came cold my boyfriend asked if they could warm it up, took it to the back and warmed it up in the microwave. The only thing good was the shrimp, soup, eggrolls and white rice.

Food is cool. Always timely . Best thing is the rice. They don't serve asian ribs anymore. Soups are always hot and tasty.

I ordered the crispy dumplings (pork) and spring rolls as appetizers, and the spicy noodle soup as my entree. My server came to take my order, and brought me the items as they were ready. The entree came out before the appetizers. The spicy noodle soup was spicy (as named) and it was good, but it was incredibly oily and the noodles were overcooked, so I didn't eat much of it. I would definitely recommend ordering this with rice, or taking it home and making your own. The dumplings and spring rolls were crispy, but nothing special. I did like the duck sauce they had -- I would have asked my server for more of it, but she was busy in the back or something, not sure. I wish she would've checked in on me a bit more during the visit so I could have gotten more napkins and sauce. The service was alright. I wish I would've gotten checked on a little bit more, but she was nice and helped me pack my noodles to go. Overall, this spot wasn't terrible, but if I had to choose, I'd probably try another place.

Each of the lunch specials come with crab rangoon, egg roll and soup (I chose egg drop soup). We had the Shrimp and Vegetables, Sesame Chicken, and Triple Delight. We noticed the decor had changed (yes, I said it had been many years) and it was quite nice! We were seated promptly and placed our drink order (tea came with lunch). We ordered Rangoon as a starter. The lunch specials came with soup and egg roll, and fried rice. DH ordered his litmus test dish for American style Chinese- General Tso chicken. The portion was generous. The sauce was tasty. The chicken pieces tasted like your average frozen nuggets tossed in sauce. It's that familiar "seasoning" to the chicken and coating- iykyk. Not bad at all, just not the best. He enjoyed his egg drop soup. I opted for Hunan Beef. The sauce was thicker than I prefer, with an almost gelatinous consistency. The hot and sour soup was nice, a little more sour than hot. We both thought the fried rice that came with lunch was a little bland. Maybe the entree version is better? Each special was under $10, and it's definitely a great value.

Walked in and waited for a few minutes before someone handed us menus and told us to sit wherever. Just handed us menus...in a kind of "just go sit down kinda way". Not real friendly. The appetizer we ordered (veggie steamed dumplings) came out with one less dumpling than promised on the menu. My wife's noodles were nothing special, as was my spicy/numbing pot. I felt my pot in particular, was over-loaded with huge chunks of veggies that could have been better chopped as to be more manageable. More chicken and beef in that chicken and beef pot, too, please ... The person waiting on us, if you could call it that, was not personable and could not have cared less about interacting. His drive by meal drop-offs were the epitome of antisocial. Probably won't return.

I have been to this restaurant several times which I did like. It rank higher than the other few places available in San Antonio. The service is always good and from observing I see a lot of Chinese families visiting and chit chatting with who seems to be the owner. I do like that a lot! It gives a positive sign about the restaurant itself The portions are huge! I ordered the whole chicken? Sichuan style. I asked if it is the whole chicken I don't know if language barrier lol she did the sign of no no with her hand. It is actually maybe equal to 2 chickens! Not complaining! I was very happy with it! I will keep on returning to try more things on the menu

It was the in between time of late lunch 2:30-3pm so we thought we would miss the Sunday afternoon church rush. The parking lot and restaurant was full but didn't let it scare us.
