Always great service and very clean. I ordered the lunch special sweet and sour chicken with fried rice that comes with egg drop soup and an egg roll. The soup was rich and delicious and the fried noodles were fresh and crispy. You can tell they hand make the sweet and sour chicken. It was crispy and juicy and delicious. My only complaint is there are no veggies that come with sweet and sour chicken. I wish they would at least include bell peppers.

Great service, ample seating, ample parking. We really enjoyed the food, very tasty! Our server was helpful and had a good sense of humor.

We decided to try this place and sadly I regret doing so. Reading the reviews I was very excited because I haven't had 'Chinese' food in a while and this place has a huge following behind it... my family and I ended up getting sick. We each had a chicken meal and we each had beef so we aren't sure what exactly made us sick. I did find some pieces of beef in mine that were undercooked (still pink) but I'm used to medium/ medium rare steaks so I didn't think much of it but it could have been that. Flavor was just "meh". The lemon sauce for the lemon chicken just tasted like chemical, no real lemon which was a bummer. The sauce on the beef just tasted like brown gravy, not Mongolian beef. I've also never had fried rice like this. I'm not sure, maybe this place just wasn't up to my taste but I wouldn't come back here.

Noodles were not great. Very watery and lacking flavor. Disappointing. Oddly enough the veggies did have some flavor in them

I was craving Chinese food and had heard good things about Oolong from neighbors. So my husband and I decided to try this place out. Service was great. Our server started out a little serious but as our meal progressed and she checked on us she got more friendly and by the time we were done she was joking with us and laughing. The food was not bad and after reading other reviews that the lomein was flavorless, was pleasantly surprised to find that they in fact had a decent amount of flavor. I just wish that it had a bit more chicken than it did. The husband liked the fried rice and overall it was a good experience. Definitely plan to go back and try some other dishes.

Food was served on time and sweet and sour chicken was delicious. Chicken fried rice was ok but not their best. Egg drop soup continues to be a great starter along with the egg rolls. My server was very courteous and attentive

It was the in between time of late lunch 2:30-3pm so we thought we would miss the Sunday afternoon church rush. The parking lot and restaurant was full but didn't let it scare us. Only had to wait 5 mins. Don't let the full restaurant fool you. The wait staff checks in often and moves tables very fast. Pro tip- you can hang outside and check out the koi fish in the pond to kill some time Sat down and drinks came out fast ordered dim sum which came out in the cute steam baskets first. Shrimp Shumai and pork bao buns were so good. My kids asked for seconds We also ordered the sweet and sour chicken, spicy eggplant/tofu, shrimp& broccoli and the combination fried rice. Everything was perfectly seasoned with the exception of the sweet and sour chicken. It was very bland. Next time I want to order the orange peel chicken instead. Looked good and now we know! So much food we'll have leftovers for a few days. Score!

Restrooms were smelly and didn't look clean. Kid friendly and staff were very nice. Plenty of parking.

Walked in and waited for a few minutes before someone handed us menus and told us to sit wherever. Just handed us menus...in a kind of "just go sit down kinda way". Not real friendly. The appetizer we ordered (veggie steamed dumplings) came out with one less dumpling than promised on the menu. My wife's noodles were nothing special, as was my spicy/numbing pot. I felt my pot in particular, was over-loaded with huge chunks of veggies that could have been better chopped as to be more manageable. More chicken and beef in that chicken and beef pot, too, please ... The person waiting on us, if you could call it that, was not personable and could not have cared less about interacting. His drive by meal drop-offs were the epitome of antisocial. Probably won't return.

I have been to this restaurant several times which I did like. It rank higher than the other few places available in San Antonio. The service is always good and from observing I see a lot of Chinese families visiting and chit chatting with who seems to be the owner. I do like that a lot! It gives a positive sign about the restaurant itself The portions are huge! I ordered the whole chicken? Sichuan style. I asked if it is the whole chicken I don't know if language barrier lol she did the sign of no no with her hand. It is actually maybe equal to 2 chickens! Not complaining! I was very happy with it! I will keep on returning to try more things on the menu

Ming's at La Cantera... WOW…read more We ordered the smoked pork belly buns, teriyaki crispy chicken, and lemon crispy chicken, and I have to say, we were incredibly impressed. Let's start with the chicken... because THIS is where they got it right. No heavy, overpowering sauces drowning everything. You could actually taste the chicken, the quality, the seasoning, the texture. The crunch? Absolutely on point. The lemon chicken was light, fresh, and perfectly balanced, not overly sweet or artificial like you sometimes get. Same with the teriyaki, flavorful without being too much. And the sides? Don't skip them. The steamed rice was perfectly done, the broccoli tasted fresh (not soggy ), and that coleslaw... HELLO. So good. And those smoked pork belly buns? Soft, flavorful, melt-in-your-mouth goodness. Overall: Clean flavors, great texture, and everything felt intentional, not overdone. Definitely coming back. If you're at La Cantera, this is a must-try.

Our…read moreserver was fabulous and happily explained the menu and made suggestions, since we were newbies. She suggested the buns were a must since that was where Ming's got started and was well known for. Soo, buns it was. Well worth to get the Happy Hour Trio of buns- chicken, pork belly, and bbq pork $12 Absolutely delicious!!!! Each bun small and mighty, but packed with their individual flavors. We split each bun in half amongst the two of us to sample each flavor. My fave personally was the chicken and least favorite- pork belly, it was a little tough and chewy. For dinner we each ordered warm noodle bowls. These bowls were large, ya could possibly share between two people. Each had freshly portioned ingredients on top. The cilantro lime bowl had a very mild cilantro flavor, but the pork belly chunks were juicy. My sweet potato noodle bowl was not what I had pictured it to look like.. with sweet potato.. I envisioned orange or purple noodles : D our server noted it's the starch of the potato that's used to make the noodle. The added beef had good flavor. Although I enjoyed the fresh ingredients, I found the flavors of the bowl to be bland. Maybe it needed some kind of light curry or something, I added and was charged for tiny cup of chili oil. Great service. The buns shine, bowls were ok.. Military discount offered.
