This review is about the front office, not the doctor -- I never got to meet them, so they may be excellent.
I arrived for a new patient appointment and waited about 10 minutes before anyone appeared at the front desk. At one point, a staff member peeked out from behind a wall, saw me standing there, and disappeared again without a word. When someone finally came out, I was given new patient paperwork, which I completed in about 5 minutes. When I returned to the desk to hand it in -- no one there again.
Twenty minutes past my appointment time, with no communication from anyone, I decided to leave. As I was walking out, the staff member reappeared. I explained that I was leaving since it had been 20 minutes and nothing seemed to be happening. Her entire response: "Okay, bye."
One more thing worth noting: before I had even met the doctor, I was asked to sign a blank medical records release form -- blank, as in they could fill in whatever they wanted after I signed. I declined, of course.
I paid $6 for parking and left feeling like it was money well spent to find out early what this office is like. If the front desk is this indifferent to patients they haven't even met yet, I didn't want to find out what happens after. read more
