Been meaning to leave a review for this office for a while now.. Dr. Minaeian and his team are absolutely phenomenal. He is the sort of doctor and person you want to take care of your family. Both my grandparents are patients of his and they couldn't be happier. His approach and explanation of any issue is in such a calm, warm & professional manner that it makes the visit pleasant no matter the discovery. He is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and takes time to explain to you what is happening with your body while helping to come up with a treatment plan for the problem as a whole. Waste of time, you'll be lucky to even get to see the actual doctor. I'm talking about Dr. Artin Minaeian. They'll give you an appointment and you'll get to discuss your issue with the assistant or the intern (Maral) you'll never get to see the actual doctor, even though he is there walking around. read more

Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience during our recent visit. When we called to schedule an appointment with the doctor, we were told the next available appointment with him would be in a few months. Instead, they offered us an earlier appointment with someone named Maral (I'm not sure if she is a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant). Maral was very unprofessional throughout the visit. She seemed unsure of what she was doing and was googling medications and information during our appointment. This made us feel very uncomfortable and concerned about the quality of care. When we spoke to her in Armenian, she said she didn't understand, but when we spoke in English, she was replying in Armenian and seemed confused about how to answer our questions--sometimes stopping to search online instead of giving clear answers. The whole appointment felt disorganized and stressful. My niece was so upset and anxious after the visit that she cried at home all day. This is not the kind of care patients should receive, and it caused our family unnecessary distress. I hope the clinic takes this feedback seriously and ensures that patients receive care from knowledgeable and professional staff who can provide clear, confident medical advice. read more

Each appointment I had here was a nightmare, with patient care seemingly being at the bottom of the list. The staff here is more focused on lunch plans/gossiping amongst themselves vs their patient care. Check my reviews, and you'll see that I'm one to support businesses not speak ill of them - unless there really is something wrong... and there is something wrong here. I did not meet with this doctor, but with the PA. Unfortunately I cannot recall her name, but she seemed nice and concerned at the initial appointment. The low rating is due to having no way to communicate with the medical provider. It's 2024, and they have no web portal. No way to easily reach out, get notes, review results, etc. You can call or text but they may or not respond. It's like throwing a dart into thin air. The office had my MRI results and never even contacted me about the results. I had to find out my own results from the imaging center. That's just pure unprofessionalism. I thought I was having a stroke and was very panicked! They immediately helped ease me and ordered 3 different MRIs and got my results stat! Dr. Minaeian is SO patient and truly listens to concerns before coming up with a plan of action.. He also remembers his patients ( which is almost unheard of). They are super punctual and always take you in quickly . This office is way too outdated. The automated recording has lots of errors and bad grammar. You can tell this office just wants to bill for personal injury cases instead of actually helping their patients. The longest portion of the automated recording is regarding personal injury cases. The option to schedule an appointment for non personal injury cases is the last option in the automated recording. When scheduling, they tell you they don't take your insurance even though you have authorization. After several holds, they finally say ok, they'll schedule an appointment since you have an authorization (but like they're doing you a huge favor because they don't normally take your insurance). Again, probably because they don't actually want to treat non personal injury cases. They put you on hold for 15 minutes just to put in your basic info and schedule an appointment. Of course the actual doctor won't be available for a few months so the only option is to see the PA. She's friendly, but a week and a half later, a simple prescription for migraine medication has not been called into my pharmacy, which they verified 3 times. I don't understand what the hold up is. Oh, probably because they don't care about their patients or the office is so outdated and incompetent that they don't know how to call in prescriptions. They will not contact my insurance company to submit the required order for an MRI. They ask you to text them, but they don't respond. I have all calls documented and recorded. Wish I could say I had a good experience, but I really didn't. I felt that he was dismissive, extremely condescending, and didn't listen to me, provide options, or try to figure out what was wrong with me. I did like his NP a lot, she was at least very caring and listened. I also saw Dr. Akopian at the same office once briefly, he was incredibly compassionate and knowledgeable. This is only my second less than 5 star review on yelp in my 15 years of being on here if that says anything. I was referred to him after a possible seizure. The ER started me on a really high dose of an anti-convulsant. I could hardly get out of bed and was extremely fatigued with severe cognitive impairment. He was incredibly dismissive and told me the medication "doesn't have side effects" (Keppra- definitely does) so he wouldn't discuss other medication options. He then accidentally refilled it at half the dose (the dose I probably should have been started on) which I didn't realize until I picked it up. That situation was a nightmare that I won't even go in to here, but ultimately required lots of back and forth on dosage. Out of nowhere in the middle of this, I also started having daily migraines and shock-like facial spasming episodes that lasted for hours daily. He did order some diagnostics such as an EEG and MRI, they turned up no answers which is often the case. I wasn't expecting immediate answers, but in hind sight I deserved further consideration of other conditions and medications. I went from being a completely active and perfectly healthy adult, to suddenly hardly able to get out of bed or even make a meal from the fatigue and cognitive impairment along with this new really bizarre daily excruciating pain. It was so bad from an outside perspective that my roommate approached me to discuss my wishes if anything happened to me. I wasted months absolutely miserable, terrified not knowing what was wrong with me, and only worsening with no answers or other medication trials. He finally referred me to a different neurologist who switched me over to newer anti-epileptics with minimal side effects which immediately took care of the extreme fatigue and cognitive impairment. She also addressed all of my migraine and other pain issues. We discussed several options and have done lots of trial and error of medications and treatments. She listened to me and worked with me . A year later, my diagnosis has changed and I am in so much less pain and am back to working. That's the experience I should have had in the first place. read more

This doctor and his office staff should be ASHAMED of themselves! Honesty and integrity are very important qualit of a doctor. This doctor LIES and CHARGES you for it! I needed to speak with a neurologist regarding a specific diagnosis that I have. I called the office and asked them if the doctor sees people with my condition. The staff said yes and gave me an appointment. I arrive on the day of the appointment. After check-in, they called me inside. They did the normal vitals check with me and asked me why I was there. The left me for a second to let the doctor know. The doctor, then, comes into the room and tells me that he ONLY sees stroke patients. I asked him why his staff told me you saw people with my diagnosis and give me an appointment. His reply: "I don't know. I'll have a talk with me staff." So I left the office. A couple of months later, I get charged for the visit! They bill my insurance and sends me the patient's portion! When contesting the bill, they said they spent 20 mins talking to me about smoking! I don't even smoke! This is complete DISHONESTY and THEFT! I recommend you go elsewhere. At least for the peace of mind that you're being charged accurately and honestly. read more

Omg, omg, what an amazing doctor!!! Dr. Minaeian is a very rare find... he has it all; most importantly, he has time for his patients; outstanding listening skills; fabulous bedside manner; amazing personality. I recently had a hiccup with my insurance company that was a nightmare. I had to cancel my appointment with Dr. Minaeian, but right away his office got me a TeleMed with Nyree. NP she was on time. She was patience with listening to me on the phone with my medical needs, and took excellent care of me. My medication's were ordered right away. Will definitely refer to their office. Just a reminder for everyone out there, specialty offices are hard to get into and are very busy with patients with medical issues. At times, you may have to wait a little longer because the patient before you may have a bigger medical issue. The Office staff is amazing and they are very busy also with phone calls, authorizations, etc. they are taking care of all of the patients in need of care including me. It's really hard to find a great Doctor I have been with him for a few years now and hope to stay with him for a long time. DO NOT GO HERE!! Where do I even start, it's been 2 years since I have been to this place and it still holds a heavy spot in my mind. I'm writing my review to finally release this place from my body so I may heal more. I went here after suffering a terrible bout of vertigo (that they told me was anxiety). At first I was gaslit and told that I was just having "really bad anxiety" and needed to go to a psychiatrist. He wanted to pump me full of poison medicine and I continue to tell the doctor it wasn't anxiety, something else was going on. She then had me take several migraine medications that had nothing to do with vertigo/anxiety and then put me on propanol. Since going to a naturopath and being diagnosed with a serious auto immune disease that this neurologist should have found it seems propanol actually made it much worse. I came to find that I have several infections (mold exposure was one and a neurologist should have found that one easy). Long story short don't go here. If you want to be pumped full of medication that has nothing to do with your condition and gas lit to be told that your perfectly fine when your not then be my guest, go here. I never leave a review prior to visiting a doctor. However, I really need to review the organization of this office. I called the office several times as well as visited the office several times just to check in about making an appointment. It took about a week for this office to contact me and let me know that the doctor does not even see patients with my diagnosis and I had to go through the authorization process all over again. While it's understandable that this doctor does not see patients with my issue, it baffles me that it took so long for this office to connect with me. When you call them, it seems apparent that the easiest way to make an appointment is via text message. However, I would receive a delayed response asking me for one piece of information. Then, I would respond asking them if they got my response because they wouldn't follow up. After many days of not only trying to text them call them and go to the office, knock on the door on days that they were supposed to be there, I finally get a response through text. The response was not apologetic but rather very quick to mention that he does not see patients with the issue that I have. I really I am alarmed by this office and its professionalism. While I understand that if I had a life-threatening condition, I would go to the hospital, I do think it's very upsetting and saddening to me that a medical professional would allow his office to operate in this way. Make a better system, don't be dismissive, and hire more employees if needed! It's a shame because my doctor's office actually said he is a gre doctor, but if you can't make an appointment or connect with the staff, unfortunately it reflects poorly on you. read more

Just left our session today and perfectly done. I am very happy with his work because since I've worked with him I can say that 95% of my migraines have disappeared. Dr Minaeian not only listened to my history of chronic migraine in a way that no other physician listened but he guided me patiently through a variety of treatment options and has checked in at every follow up. The front desk and nursing staff are so kind and patient and really go above and beyond to make sure I get my meds even when my insurance company is being difficult or I'm traveling or I lost forgot a refill. The hold wait time on calls average 30-35 minutes. When you do finally get through staff is not friendly at all, almost to point of being rude. Their phones hours are only 4 hours a day, 3 days a week. When requesting a refill on a prescription it can take up to a week to get it filled. I do not recommend at all. Finding a new doctor now. read more

As everyone always says: this review is long over due! Dr. Minaeian and his staff are truly great. I've been seeing them for several years now so I have had many interactions there and I can say with confidence he is the BEST neurologist that I have ever had. I don't take that lightly. It also goes a long way that his staff is responsive, organized and goes the extra mile to try to help when they can. For a little bit of context, I've suffered crippling chronic migraines since I was a kid and it is safe to say I've seen a lot of docs - specialists, generalists, naturopaths... and I'm very informed about the disease I battle and the newest info about it. Sometimes I (unfortunately) know more than the Dr's I've seen and that is always discouraging. Dr. Minaeian is the first who has actually helped me in any way shape or form. I was actually referred to him by another neuro who said Dr. Minaeian was THE one to see for migraines. At this point, I wasn't super optimistic because I had been told that before. If you suffer from migraines or chronic pain - you KNOW the feeling of being ping ponged around to different docs. However, this time it was actually true! Dr. Minaeian is extremely educated about migraines and the complex and unique physiology behind them. This is including the challenges that come with them and that is really so refreshing. So many Dr's just don't get it and are old school and not up to date on the treatments and breakthroughs. Dr. Minaeian is the opposite, he is modern and open minded and he has worked on studies about migraine treatments so he seems to be actually trying to progress the treatment of it. He is kind and thoughtful and listens fully to my concerns and doesn't make me feel rushed or that any question is dumb, which I really appreciated because I often have a ton of questions. Also, he is practical and while he knows there is no "cure" for migraines per se, and that every patient is wildly different, he is the first Dr. I've ever had that has been able to create a multi-faceted treatment plan for me that HELPS. In this chronic pain battle it is really nice to have him on my team! Makes it a little less isolating. Highly recommend. read more

If you are looking for a knowledgeable and compassionate doctor then look no further. Dr. Minaeian is amazing at what he does. I first went to him for my father who had a brain aneurysm and Dr. minaeian gave us such amazing bed side manners. He took the time to review my dads old scans, explained in detail to what was going on and how to treat/prevent serious issues. The staff was amazing, we didnt wait long to be seen and Dr. Minaeian look his time with us we did not feel rushed.
