Horrible experience. I was quoted $160 to rekey 3 locks. When they got there they said it would cost $350. Beware! Will NEVER use again.

After a long day at Magic Kingdom, we come home to our Airbnb and find that the house key is missing. Likely lost somewhere in Disney with little hope of getting it back, my wife and I frantically start looking for a locksmith and messaging the owner of the Airbnb. I first try pop-a-lock because it's a popular brand, so I figured they would be available after hours. I was wrong. They were quick to pick up the phone, but unfortunately a locksmith was not available. My wife sends me a link to another locksmith so I give it a try. Someone picks up the phone immediately and just asks for my address and says he's on his way, said he would be there within 20-25 minutes. I didn't get his name, but this guy was ready to go and I was so grateful. As luck would have it, the owner of the Airbnb got back to us and said he would bring the spare key. I called the locksmith back to let him know and offered some cash for his time, but he declined and only asked that I think of him for future locksmith needs. Honest, efficient and friendly! Best words to describe the service I received from Andy today! I called him about the key fob for my car working intermittently and that I thought I needed a battery changed. I am in Orlando by myself (away from home) and have only 1 key to my car...I was afraid to just go to a battery place and have it changed in case when it got opened up something went awry and it stopped working altogether. Andy told me I didn't need him and could replace the battery myself and tried to explain how I could do it. I explained my fear and, for peace of mind, I'd rather have him do it. Within an hour he was here and gone and he showed me how to change the battery and also showed me how to open and start my car if the battery ever goes dead (which I didn't previously know) and he gave me an extra battery, encouraging me to try it myself next time. I highly recommend Andy! He was absolutely wonderful. He showed up wearing a mask which was great, but not only that he was reasonably priced. For my type of key, he was about $50 cheaper than the other quotes I received. He also has a lifetime guarantee, which he honored when the next day the key fob stopped working bc of the battery, he drove asap to my home and replaced the battery and gave me 2 additional batteries in case it happened again. I had a bad experience with this company. I believe the technician was trying to take advantages of me since I was by myself locked out of my house with my dog. At first the dispatcher gave me one price and the tech price was very high. It was a simple door nob. His name is Peter. After I refused to pay then all of that, they wanted to negotiate according to my budget. I don't understand why didn't they tell me at first that the price was based on my budget. Very unprofessional. It was the first company that came up on my search. I hope I don't ever need their services again but I don't recommend this company. Besides when I called the dispatcher back to ask why was the price different than the one he gave me, He was very rude and hung the phone on me. read more
