I used to go to Lims when I didnt feel like doing the work myself. The last 2 times I've been, they've done the work poorly. My rotors were installed incorrectly, my right rotors labeled with 3 large letter Rs were put on the left side and my left rotor was put on the right side, also with 3 letter Ls. My brakes were completely worn in less than 12,000 miles since installation and my rotors were warped beyond resurfacing. Previously I asked them to check my alignment, they told me it was fine, it was not, I needed two new tires, brakes, and rotors. Never coming back, their prices went up, quality went down. read more

I called ahead to check how busy they were and the lady told me to go ahead and come in now because they weren't busy. Super quick and easy, and it cost just $35. The mechanics made the repairs at a reasonable price. They were also able to fix my AC since it was not working during the heat wave. This place has many returning customers. Another smog check done, quick and easy. I always call ahead to check if they're busy and for current pricing. As of right now, my smog check was still $30.00 flat. As I was told over the phone, if my car required a Smog Check from STAR approved stations, it would be $45.00. They accept Visa/Mastercard/Discover. read more

My advice to y'all out there. Don't trust this place to service your car. It will cause you more headaches, agony and money to fix it. They don't value your car because they don't have time for that. Time is money for them. I brought my Lexus in for front brake work, new pad and rotor resurface. The brakes started to squealed after two months of driving. I brought my car in for them to check. The fucking owner said the squeals come from the rear brakes which are original factory hardware and pads still have 80% of life. I watched utube what cause brakes to squeal and how to get it fixed. I disassembled the brakes and removed pads to examine the brakes calipers. I discovered that they didn't do any cleaning to the calipers. They didn't put back the original brakes pad shims. The didn't put any anti seize or lubricant on the backing plate. They lost the cotter pin (clip) which keeps the spring rod locked in place. With all these, I wonder if they really resurfaced the rotors. We as customers don't really know...We pay for their service and thrust them to provide quality service. They also lost one Lexus beautiful design tire stem grey cap and replaced it with a cracked beat up regular stem black cap. Can you believe that? All these show the shop mechanics are negligent working on your car. Do you thrust them working on your car because of the yelp ratings? Me? Not anymore. I paid $135 to get the brakes work and I ended up spent 3 hours of my time to fix their work. I should have gone to another shop or got it done it by myself. It's an easy job after watching utube. I would have given this shop a zero star but I am not allowed. read more

SMOG CHECK $28 no more no less! Simple as that. Got here, no wait, after 5 min we were done and I was ready to go. I compared the price with a few Auto Repair places in this area. Usually it starts at $39 for a smog check. Make sure to call this place first and talk to Peter, the owner. The price vary depends on the year and model of your car and the reason for a smog check. I came in early in the morning to to get my tail light fixed. The bulb I previously bought and changed myself didn't work after only a few months. I thought I burned the socket buying the wrong one. I told Peter the manager my story and said I'd come pick it up on my lunch break. Promptly he calls me before lunch and explains to me thoroughly the issue. He also tells me anything else he noticed that I should watch out for. Turned out to just need a different bulb change but I appreciated his thoroughness and timeliness. Good, fast, cheap smog check. I called ahead to see if they were busy and Peter told me to come down in around 45 minutes. I showed up and he was finishing up another smog check. About 10 minutes later he pulled my car up to the testing machine and another 15 minutes later I was out of there with a passed smog check and a ~28 dollar bill. A regular smog check is 19.99 +8.95 for the smog certificate. That's definitely on the lower end of smog check prices. I can't vouch for repair services but i'd definitely recommend for smog checks read more
