Stephanie is the absolute best!!! I get my Botox done by her every 3-4 months and she is just the most fun and sweetest to be around. She makes conversation with you so you forget how miserable every prick of the needle is (okay, I'm a huge baby). She also plays country music because she's from Texas which is really refreshing to hear in New York, and very calming. Her prices on Botox/Dysport are great, especially compared to other places in the city. She also does injections (I don't get them) and I've been wanting to try one of her vampire facials. I agree with other comments about the rigidity of the scheduling. I was a customer of maybe 6 months but one time I was late 10 minutes for a 15 minute appointment and therefore only received 5 minutes of service. When I left, there was no one in the waiting room for the next appointment, so I didn't understand why the technician didn't keep going until the next customer arrived. In fact, I had been to previous appointments where I waited a few minutes for a technician. I understand they need to keep a tight schedule, but it definitely left a sour taste in my mouth. I was apprehensive about having electrolysis done, but my eyebrows were always getting weird looks and it was making me self conscious. After careful review I chose to go to Limoges Beauty and I'm so glad I did. The staff was very patient with me and attended to all of my concerns. The procedure was a little painful but not intolerable. I've had noticeable results in the weeks that followed. It feels good to get comments like "you look different" followed by a smile. It is important for me to share my experience I received today from the owner of this place. I made an appointment for me and my cousin for electrolysis (after a few days I tried to get them on the phone but no one answered). After two days they called back to me as I decided to send a message as well and not just to leave them voicemails and made the appointment I was expecting to receive. I had a certain time that I asked to do the treatment and mentioned that if it's not working for them I understand that and I'll have to pass this time. I was very happy that they managed to schedule an appointment for me and I made two appointments. I was asked to give my credit card number for security and to keep the appointment. I gave them the card number. I was so expecting to get this session but after a few hours I felt bad and immediately sent a message and updated the owner I'm feeling bad and could not get to the appointment. It was quite late so no one answered. In the morning I immediately called to announce the cancellation and got a reply back that she going to charge me for this time. I announced that I feel that I can make the appointment but I would have to be honest because I feel responsible for it if someone gets infected from me. The owner of the place immediately called me and shouted at me that I could not do it and that I was a liar. Why do you call me a liar? If I was so happy you managed to put me in a the schedule. She literally lost her temper. (i wish I could attach the call with her to this review) I wished I had received this treatment while I was visiting New York. I have never encountered of such degrading attitude from a business owner. I think no matter what the reason and how the customer behaved it is not appropriate to accept behavior that is so demeaning and offensive to the customer. She was so upset that I had canceled the queue and I could understand her, but I will never understand this approach, disrespectful, and abusive behavior of the owner of the place. I'm sorry but that's the whole truth. I hope for her that in the future she will be able to control her attitude and behavior towards people and especially towards her clients even though her angers were justified. read more

Very hard to get appointment and when you do you sometimes have to make it months in advance so you of course forget about it and your schedule changes. Then they remind you about the appointment exactly 24 hours before the appointment when you call to cancel the appointment they say the 24 hour window has passed. Absolutely absurd!! The staff person told me I wasn't a real adult because I don't remember my appointments (unnecessary). I've never heard of a place reminding you after the cut off window. I rely on the reminders. Also I got Microneedling here, and the person botched it and my face was terribly swollen for a week. Ive gotten Microneedling other places and it was fine. She applied why too much force. This review was originally one star but Emily threatened to sue me (BULLYING MUCH?) for giving my honest opinion so I have changed it to three.. who else has she bullied? Also, now it's more accurate because although I have problems with the rigidity of their scheduling and I don't think I was treated nicely on the phone, and Emily now tried to defame my character (by citing times when I was late and had to cancel appointments) they do a good job with electrolysis.... just not for the person with a busy schedule because they frown upon cancellations and don't offer flexibility. I did electrolysis there for a year and didn't see any results. I left and started seeing another electrologist who gave me results within a few months, and made me hair-free after a year. 2 stars only because the office is super clean and the ladies are very nice. I just don't think they have the expertise to treat subborn, curly hair. Some of the girls were still in training when I stopped going there, and I would feel a plucking sensation whenever they worked on me, which is a no-no in electrolysis. read more

There are many beauty spas and salons in NYC this is not the one you should pick. While the establishment is clean, the owners business practices lack integrity I visited Limoges many times and always tip after a 5-15 min electrolysis session. I never cancel appts unless absolutely necessary. I broke my tooth and was in terrible pain. because I never cancelled before and I've tipped Emily at least $200 dollars over about 15 sessions that they would forgive one time. While the owner has cancelled on me in less than 48 hrs. I felt that it was fair. That was not acceptable to her. I also pushed back on being charged for this exception to her receptionist. When Emily chided me for the cancellation after booking me for the next appt I asked her how she would like to be treated that way? I not only think it's greedy but myopic from a biz perspective. Not only did Emily exaggerate, she had the temerity to speak down to me. No Emily that is not acceptable. I am a customer I have treated you graciously and thoughtfully, like an adult. you do not have the right to speak down to me. And when I reminded her that I have paid her over $200 in tips she was very offended. Most people do not even tip! Especially the owner. It counts to be a little bit more thoughtful about your clients. It isn't always just about making money, it's about having integrity and good business practices. I didn't yell at her. I reminded her that it is not the right way to go. I have kept every single appointment .I have never treated her badly. I decided not to tip Emily this time and so Emily decided to cancel the appointment she just had made for me for the next treatment. My experience at Limoges Beauty has been honestly life changing. I've struggled with dark, stubborn, unwanted hair since I was a little girl. I was bullied growing up because of my "mustache" and "unibrow". I've tried literally all hair removal remedies that exist. Electrolysis is the ONLY hair removal process that has successfully removed my unwanted hair (from the lip to random moles to the areola area, etc) Not only does it remove the hair, but it removes it for good. Really happy that I found this place. I have been doing electrolysis treatment for a few months and am starting to see improvement. Emily was great when I first came in and talked me through all my questions and made sure I understood how everything worked. This is the kind of place where you feel like their primary focus is serving you well, and that making money follows that. For example, when my treatments weren't filling an entire session, the therapist recommended that I cut back to a shorter time slot. I also had a consult with the nurse about hyperpigmentation, and she recommended I try some over the counter serums before trying a peel. I really trust them because at every turn they've given me advice that is best for me, and not necessarily what will bring them the quickest payout. My experience with Limoges Beauty started off rocky, but has overall been very good! Dominique is AMAZING and electrolysis has been life changing for me. I have struggled with unwanted hair on my chin for some time, and she has been incredible at using the time slot efficiently and she is meticulous, timely, and so sweet! The only negatives I have towards this place are in regards to booking. First, DO NOT MISS AN APPOINTMENT. They are very serious about that and will charge you the full amount if you ever miss. Next, it is a little difficult to book appointments. I think this is a tribute to how renowned the place is, as well as how incredible Dominique is, as it is a little tricky to book appointments. They only allow you to book 3 appointments at a time, and with regular electrolysis appointments, it is sometimes challenging for me to book an appointment with Dominique as she books up quickly.
