Lily has been altering my clothes since I was in high school so when it was time to get my wedding dress altered, I didn't think twice. The dress I chose was a fit and flare with fully beaded bodice. Thankfully I am tall so I didn't need it hemmed but I did need a bustle and the dress taken in at the waist a couple of inches. Lily didn't hesitate to take me on as a client even though the dress would require hand stitching due to the jewels. Her work is fabulous and so detail oriented. ALSO, she doesn't require payment up front, she believes in her work so much that you pay after the product is done. I find that VERY assuring!! Lastly, I brought her my dress in October and I got it back from her in January so I could get my bridals my done. LASTLY, after I got my bridals done, I realized that it needed an extra stitch on the shoulder to cinch the bust. I texted Lily, even though I had already picked it up and I had paid her, she said bring it in, and she fixed it while I was in the shop and I walked out that day with my dress (she also didn't charge me to bring it back for the quick fix). Also, the bustle she did was just eight buttons, and it stayed up the entire night, even though I was dancing (my train was 4 feet long of thick tool and glitter) Overall, she is an amazing seamstress, she believes in her work, and if any brides have a very intricate dress like mine, do not hesitate to reach out to Lily as she has the expertise to work with extreme beading. read more

Thank God I found Lilly nearby to alter my wedding gown! Lilly is such a pleasure to work with. I had gained some weight after purchasing my gown in New York, and Lilly added some material to cover the back part. The addition really looked as if it was originally part of the gown. Would absolutely recommend! read more

Lilly is like your Cinderella fairy god mother for your wedding dress lol! First let's just say she is the sweetest human being you will ever met, & customer service from her & family in store is top notch! I purchased my gown from a bridal boutique & was given a dress that was entirely too large for my size, height, & frame. Lilly worked her magic & so fast I might add, that I was in my dream dress in a matter of weeks (long before my actual wedding day). She was so sweet & modified the front portion I wanted covered up, added lace straps I custom ordered to match, created a bustle out of thin air, & shortened the length perfectly while preserving the detailed lace for my short height. To top it all off, her pricing is outstanding compared to anyone else I was recommended in Houston. I will 100% times recommend Lilly for any of your bridal dress needs. Thank you Lilly for making me feel like a princess in Mexico on my special day. You are truly a master at your craft! read more

I needed to get on here and let everyone know how amazing Lily is. Her alterations skills are beyond EXCEPTIONAL!!!!! She is also just an amazing human! I purchased my wedding dress from a wedding dress shop that suggested I get my alterations done in house based off of time constraints. Worst experience ever. They ruined my dress. I felt so overwhelmed. With no time to spare I explained my situation to Lily and she was so comforting and said alright bring it in. Let's see how I can help. I went in and I told her what was wrong. She made me feel like a million bucks. She altered what she could (I literally had days) and it truly helped. I felt better in my dress. I also took her my dinner dress! And she made it fit like a glove. I've attached a picture of it here. Y'all. Lily is the best in every way. She's gained a life long customer. read more

Beyond being a master of her trade and the best tailor in the greater Houston area, Lilly is an absolute angel! She was a joy to work with (like a ray of sunshine) and did wonders on my wedding dress. She really listened to my concerns with the original fit, offered solutions that were tailored both to the unique design of my gown and to my body, then executed them perfectly - and ahead of schedule, at that! She's a gem, to say the least, and deserving of the highest recommendation. read more

Lilly, when I tell you that you were such a blessing during my "stressed out bride" mode, I truly mean it from the bottom of my heart. After purchasing my dress dress from David's Bridal, I knew it needed to be altered to make it truly perfect on me. I did A LOT of research, and when I reached out to Lilly, she was so kind. I scheduled an appt to come in for an evaluation and see what she could do. From the moment I walked into her suite, her mom and her greeted me with a big smile and were so sweet and helpful throughout the whole alterations process. I kept telling Lilly that everytime I went in for a fitting, my dress just got better and better. Lilly is VERY skilled at what she does, and when I asked for her professional opinion, she was happy to give it and I always trusted her opinion, and she never steered me wrong. Lilly hemmed both the length of my dress, and the length of my sleeves, as well as altered the top half of my dress to bring it in and up more, and close the bust area a little. Like I said, everything she did just made my dress that much more perfect. If you are looking for an alterations person for your VERY sacred wedding dress, or anything else for that matter, I urge you to reach out to Lilly. Thank you again Lilly for all that you did for me. read more

Yessss please go here. Don't go to anyone else for bridal alterations. She fixed the mistakes another supposed seamstress made. And she did exactly what I asked for!! She's a remarkable seamstress- the whole bunch of them there. I think the payment is reasonable. $40 for hem fix on a bridesmaid dress. $140 for extra pieces added to a bridesmaid gown basically. Just very good work for the pay. read more

I've been looking for a good alterations shop ever since I moved to friendswood. I needed some work pants altered because they were extremely large and baggy. I checked out a few different places near by and tried all of them out. Since I had multiple pairs of the exact same pants (same type, size, and fit), I figured now was the best time to do a fair and even comparison between shops. After getting all the pants back I can say with confidence that Lilly's Alterations was by far the best. Definitely the best place to go for alterations. Pants fit perfectly, wonderful experience, and best price. Definitely will be coming here for all my alterations. read more

I am so glad I took my scrubs to them! My job had us change our scrubs and unfortunately I wasn't able to try them on. I just bought my normal size but they were too big and I had to find someone to fix them because the company would not return or exchange them. I had to have them quick and they did a great job! I dropped them off in the morning and asked if I could have it done in one day and they said yes. Lily's Alterations is the best place in town. I took my wedding dress in, after I purchased it because the place I bought it from had bad customer service and I didn't want them touching my dress for alterations.
