I was charged a little less than $150 to take up everything which I thought was quite pricey being their sign says 5.99. I tried them all on and the lady pinned them. I paid up front and my husband picked them up the day we were packing because of our tight schedule. I threw the shorts in my suitcase and took off for my cruise. When I went to wear a pair, I put them on but absolutely nothing has been done but all of the pins had been taken out. They were unwearable...both pairs. This place is not a place of integrity and I do not recommend using them for 2 reasons....they are untrustworthy and waaaaaaay too expensive.

Lily has been altering my clothes since I was in high school so when it was time to get my wedding…read moredress altered, I didn't think twice. The dress I chose was a fit and flare with fully beaded bodice. Thankfully I am tall so I didn't need it hemmed but I did need a bustle and the dress taken in at the waist a couple of inches. Lily didn't hesitate to take me on as a client even though the dress would require hand stitching due to the jewels. Her work is fabulous and so detail oriented. ALSO, she doesn't require payment up front, she believes in her work so much that you pay after the product is done. I find that VERY assuring!! Lastly, I brought her my dress in October and I got it back from her in January so I could get my bridals my done. LASTLY, after I got my bridals done, I realized that it needed an extra stitch on the shoulder to cinch the bust. I texted Lily, even though I had already picked it up and I had paid her, she said bring it in, and she fixed it while I was in the shop and I walked out that day with my dress (she also didn't charge me to bring it back for the quick fix). Also, the bustle she did was just eight buttons, and it stayed up the entire night, even though I was dancing (my train was 4 feet long of thick tool and glitter) Overall, she is an amazing seamstress, she believes in her work, and if any brides have a very intricate dress like mine, do not hesitate to reach out to Lily as she has the expertise to work with extreme beading.

The door was locked, and although someone was clearly inside, she refused to come to the door or even ask what I needed. She wouldn't open the door, acknowledge me, or offer any assistance whatsoever. I wasn't asking for a complicated service, just a simple question about taking measurements and the complete lack of basic customer service was shocking. The interaction came across as extremely rude and unprofessional.

This woman is the absolute best I have found, and she knows so much about achieving the desired look that I'd never think of. She knows just where to nips in and where to let out. She has even found fabric to blend seamlessly with my projects. She only has "2 year til retirement," but she's said that for the last two. I think she just really loves what she does.

The dress required more work than just hemming but she said that she's confident she'd do what the dress needed to fit me. we scheduled my pick up day so when I showed up to pick up my dress she realized she wrote down the wrong date. when I came back the following week to try it on , it felt like the dress hadn't changed at all. At this point , I'm trying to figure out how to tweak it to fit comfortably and she got so upset with me. She said she'd have to change everything and demanded that I must pay her $50. I could not believe what was happening - I wanted to get out of there so bad that I didnt argue and payed her. When I came back (again) to pick it up (again) - I didn't even try it on. I was so embarrassed by how she made me feel all I wanted to do was leave. The quality of the alteration was not worth the $250 she charged me.
