Lili's doesn't quite have an identity in my opinion. I suppose it is a gift shop but they cater to a random, partly non-standard assortment of interests. It's a little quirky to see a store of this regard in a mall, but I'm greatly partial to the unconventional :)
You'll find random knick knacks, lots and lots of women's scarves, (the cheesy kind that you'd buy off a street vendor in New York or Chinatown, but fun nonetheless) an entire wall of them, in fact, as well as swords and knives (not sure of what quality), incense products, hookahs, glass and tobacco products, and other random things (blankets?? yep, they had 'em).
They are not focused on one thing in particular, but I have noticed that most of the customers coming in, that I've perceived anyway, are interested in the "head shop" aspect of the store. While they obviously do not have the variety of a typical head shop, I was surprised to see that they carry a small yet decent amount of current, quality, in-demand products pertaining to wax/herb, ex. the Puffco vape pen. While they may not personally use these products themselves, they really care about what their customers are coming in and asking or looking for, and seem to do their best to stock or restock those items. I can't speak on the quality of their glass selection, but based on looks alone I'd say it's the kind of stuff you might have in your beginner collection as a teenager. I could be wrong. I don't think I have seen any major glass brands, just the typical generic stuff , possibly a small-sized Roor every now and then. They also have RAW brand papers and trays, rig attachments and nails, dabbers, etc.
Not unlike a head shop, they also carry incense products as I've mentioned. This is what brings me through the door regularly. In the three years that I've been in RI, it has taken me forever and a century to find any store at all that sells incense CONES. The sticks are everywhere - cones, which I take preference to, are a little harder to find. They were in every headshop I frequented in NH, but I just couldn't find them here. Until Lili's! I was so happy to find that not only did they carry incense cones, but they were the Wild Berry brand. This discovery probably made my year and I was kicking myself for not coming in sooner. On top of this, they also have some novelty incense burners that are fun to look at.
Actually, it's a pretty fun store just to browse around. The people who work here are very kind as well. But basically I come in here for incense cones and rolling papers :) read more
