The bar staff are always pleasant and willing to assist with selecting a good or new smoke. Mark has made us feel welcome each time we come in. Our work crew usually goes in when we are in town and stock up on full boxes and multiple singles to rotate in. Really nice to go somewhere you can relax and not have to yell over the music or loud people to enjoy a nice whiskey and a smoke.

I also really like the ambience. they have TVs, but not too much... it's a lounge not sports bar and they seem clear about that. I'm probably going back and you should do the same. Even if you aren't a cigar person, you'd enjoy this one.

They had a nice sized humidor with a variety of cigars and he informed me of a few that I might like and they weren't the most expensive sticks in the store. Clean and Tidy Nice worker, not too knowledgeable, but nice. Easy parking - Cons - Cigars are stored in a special moisture sucking desert-like room, lovely if you're a cactus or a Gila Monster. Roll any cigar between your thumb and index finger and listen to the crackling and watch the dry leaves crumble to the floor. These have got to be the rejects of other cigar stores, or that room is destroying the stogies. I think if you were to light one of those bone-dry sticks, it would vanish in a huge POOF of smoke.

Walking into Northeast Alternatives for the first time felt a bit like stepping into the unknown, I…read morehad zero frame of reference and wasn't sure what kind of vibe I'd get. Honestly, I went because a handful of my patients kept mentioning it, and a friend finally nudged me over the line. Glad I listened. First off, it's easy to get to and there's plenty of parking, which already puts it ahead of half the places I deal with in a given week. Inside, the process is straightforward, show your ID, pass through another set of doors, and you're in. No confusion, no awkwardness. What stood out right away was the staff. Everyone I've interacted with has been genuinely friendly and approachable. They don't talk at you, they talk with you. And they clearly understand that people are coming in for all kinds of reasons--medical, recreational, curious first-timers like me, and they meet you wherever you are without making it weird. I keep it simple, I'm a gummies guy. That's been my lane. But on my last visit, the guy at the counter suggested a tincture. Took his advice, tried it, and he was spot on. That kind of guidance goes a long way when you're still figuring things out. The space itself is clean, well laid out, and just... calm. No chaos, no pressure. They take their time if you have questions, and you never feel rushed out the door. Prices are solid, experience is easy, and the whole place has a relaxed, welcoming feel that makes you forget you were ever unsure about going in the first place. Safe to say, they've got a repeat customer.

HINT: Always a busy parking lot here and like I said the line can be long but USUALLY you can get in and out pretty quick.
