I rarely go into these kinds of stores. I was looking for a baking dish to give as a gift. I didn't…read morefind one but I bought a jar of Sicilian olives and a tin of tea. I head to the register. I see a bunch of jam and broken glass on the floor. I hailed a worker and showed her the mess. I left the shopping cart over the mess so no one else would get near the mess. I see a bunch of reading glasses ( so grab them too ) right n and head to the gal at the register. She grabs the items and starts with her spiel about credit card and 10 percent discount for applying. I tell her NO THANK YOU several times so I interrupt her and say I need to add this bag. ( the ones they sell for $1 ) and this is weird because she is all snarky and rude and literally slammed the jar of olives into the bag, and it almost sounded like the olives were going to break the glass . She tossed in the tin box of tea and the glasses. She then snarled at me again about the card reader and if I want a receipt. She's so rude. She doesn't even explain what I'm to do . I finally put on my reading glasses to read the screen about email or print receipts. I poke the print button while she is rolling her eyes to the back of her head. I almost thought about returning the items right then and there. Im still confused about the attitude there was no reason to be rude. I was so nice. I don't go there very often maybe once a year but I can tell you right now. I won't be back to that store at all. When you think about it, people who shop there or paying her wages being rude to the customer that's not good. You just lost my business.

Today September 28th I came to Marshalls to purchase some pillows and while browsing i noticed a…read moregentleman man following me to each aisle I had went to. I went back down to the pillows because I was unsure if I was just making it up. but once I went back down to the pillows there he was watching me. I noticed he had a Marshall security jacket on. it made me very uncomfortable to know that I was being followed when I had done nothing wrong. also when I only had my phone and wallet in my persons. when I went to check out two gentlemen asked for the associates to dial for the manager because they had also experienced the same encounte. the Manager Amir R. was very dismissive about the entire situation and basically implied that it would be nothing he could take care of at this time. also Their Rae Dunn collection was very minimal :(

I needed PPE for a class in college and this place had everything. I'm a girl who didn't know what…read moreshe needed, but there was someone who helped me pick out a pair of boots, hard hat, goggles, gloves, and a safety vest which saved me so much time. It was at a fair price too. I bought a clear hard hat because I wanted to be unique and am frequently complimented on it.

I've had the most unpleasant experience as a customer at this store. My presence seemed to be an…read moreannoyance to one staff. I wanted to purchase a pair of boots for work. When I asked a question about a size of a certain brand she said, "I don't know.. you see I don't wear them". It was in a tone that was very passive aggressive. I'm 50 years old, I've purchased multiple shoes from many stores and have asked same question, this is the first time I've encountered such response. When she got the size of the first brand, I mentioned I'd like to try another brand to compare, she seemed annoyed and took back the ones I got which I wanted to use to compare. I really needed the boots for work the next day, otherwise, I would've walked out because the NEGATIVE energy was very strong in her reactions: tone, body language. I am strongly suggesting to my brown friends, family, co-workers to avoid this store or just be prepared for same treatment. I've been in this country for 40 years, and I am a LEGAL citizen, I'm more shocked than surprised that at 50 years of age in 2024 someone at a business establishment can treat a customer who's looking for working boots like they're a nuisance.
