I was excited to finally try this place after hearing others rave about it. We ordered shrimp pad thai and cashew chicken, after browsing their menu online - it was great to find their website with hours, menu, etc. I have to say that the pad thai was ok, but I didn't think it was special...fine, but not great. The cashew chicken was not impressive to me at all. I won't order it again. I will probably give this place another try someday. read more

Today was my first visit and all I can say is WOW!!!! The Thai Tea is Amazing (I want to buy by the gallons). It wasn't overly sweet but very refreshing on a windy day. The pad Thai was amazing. I didn't have an issue with the wait time because it's made fresh to order with fresh ingredients and you can't beat that. The environment was family oriented and they made you feel apart of the family. The only critic I'll give is that the oil from the pad Thai stuck to my lips in an unpleasant way but thankfully I had a napkin near by. But that's not enough for me to give nothing less than a 5 star rating. read more

Hours here are awkward-we arrived at 6:45 on a Friday night, a mere 15 minutes before closing. The restaurant could stand to be cleaner! There were empty straw wrappers and sticky spills on most of the tables. The owner (?) or whoever the gentleman behind the counter was was extremely nice and helpful. He seemed to know almost everyone who walked in the door. He took the time to check on us as new customers and answer questions about the preparation. He won us over in the personality category! Our food arrived quickly, contrary to previous reviews. We waited no longer than 5 minutes. The spicy beef eggrolls were HOT, both temperature and spice level. I couldnt eat them, but my husband was obsessed. My pad Thai was okay, but this is the first time I've had pad Thai, so I don't have anything to compare it to. I wasn't expecting the chunks of tofu, but they were surprisingly good. The portion was seriously HUGE, I just got tired of the same semi-bland taste. My husband had the same complaint with his sweet and sour pork bowl. The portions were large, but expensive-about $13 each. It would be nice to see them offer half sizes for half price. We would each order something else, but would give it another shot! read more

Not bad at all for a random Thai place in Longview, of all places. Ordered the green curry (my measuring stick for Thai) and was certainly not disappointed. It was pretty spicy, but not so much that it ruined the flavor. A bit too much coconut milk creaminess for my taste, but it was LOADED with eggplant. I love eggplant so much that nothing else mattered. My only complaint was how long it took to get my food, but they warn you in advance with signs that say "This is not fast food!" so you're prepared to wait. We were driving through the area and I used the ratings of Yelp users to find this restaurant. The food is fabulous! There is absolutely nothing negative I can say about it. We had stir fried beef and stir fried chicken. WOW, super SPICY! We also got yummy egg-rolls. They used fresh ingredients and were made to order. This restaurant was super-busy for lunch time so I know that the locals love it! However, they were smart and ordered ahead of time. The only reason that I'm giving this restaurant a 4 star rating is because of the wait time. Yes, I know they clearly state that there is one, but service is an important aspect of any meal. Bestest everrrrr. Our favorite best little Thai house in east Texas :) We always come back for more when we have a chance. It's because they close so early except thurs and fri, and we are late nighter. The curry is the best. My friend loves the red curry and we just tried the green curry, it's super good and hot, hot, hot! Love the veggies and shrimp. Good portion for the price. It's really busy on fri. Really good place to hang out and chill on a fri evening and taste the authentic food. The foreign beers are awesome too. Got to try them all next time. Excellent food... and not just excellent for being a Longview restaurant. Their food can hold its own against many of the places in Dallas, Austin, Houston, etc. I see some complaints about price, and it does seem to be about a dollar or two more for some dishes than some of the places in Dallas of similar quality. I attribute that to cost of getting Asian ingredients in Longview. I don't know that they have access to a lot of the Asian spices and produce in East Texas, so I assume they have to get them from Dallas or Houston. read more

An A rating from Longview health department is first I noticed-rare in Asian eateries. One critique up front-a really small place-maybe 12 feet wide with limited seating. At lunch you wait on a table but that's OK. There are two small tables outside. A change to a larger location sometimes ruins a popular place. I went really basic today: Pad Thai with chicken and asked for mild-to-medium spicy. The young guy up front may be an owner and is tatted & pierced and has a warm greeting & smile for his customers. He was helpful to two guys ahead of me recommending dishes according to taste. Good guy! I originally ordered to go & he noticed a table opened up & offered to change it to dine-in instead. I did. My first taste was a spicy coconut-based soup sample he offered to me. Really great. This is going to be good! The Pad Thai is a huge portion for lunch. Really piping hot when served. Not too sweet but a little milder than I expected. High quality white meat chicken that seems like it was grilled before cooking int dish-and really good flavor. A good dish. I've had a few better but variations in style are to be expected with fresh made-from-scratch dishes. I will definitely return and try some more advanced dishes-curries & such.
