The hats are a sun style with a thick brim. Within an hour, he was able to get the logos pressed and figured out how to get the lettering on the brims. This was something he'd never done before and when it got challenging, he dug in and got the job done. He did all of this while having the best outlook on the project. Also, his price was on point with me expecting more for a rush job. He's awesome and they have great apparel with LBC logos that they produce. I had told him, 'do not pay above XX amount of dollars for an outfit or onesie' before he left. The reviews here are not exactly positive when it comes to conveying the proprietor's standard approach to new customers, nor the price point of the product(s). I messaged the man a potential alternate in which to shop, just as he was leaving, as it turns out. He'd entered. Begun browsing. Experienced that which several other reviewers have described, and about which I'd messaged, employing use of the term "pushy." We both fervently believe in support of local, individually-owned-and-operated business. We're also pragmatically oriented. We, as evident as this may be, dear reader, are not "Baby Boomers." No. Those, in fact, are our parents. My life partner indicated that he was overwhelmed, and expressed his desire to simply browse. We may be in mid-life, but, we have both been engaged by the outfits on display in this shop's window; ironic, whimsical, cute, sometimes offensive, usually not: this is the *kind of* place we enjoy shopping in. After a beat or a few, our man outlined to the shopkeeper his experience and that which he sought. The proprietor ceased the previous emphasis on 'beachy-keen' type apparel, instead coming alongside in encouragement and assistance to the selection process. Perhaps recognizing the forceful hold life-long bachelorhood still retains on our protagonist when it comes to the acquisition of new skill sets or the gaining of uncharted knowledge--or perhaps not--this shop's keeper rose to heights of service previously unrevealed in customer reviews. No; no gift had been conferred upon the brother's new family. Upon hearing this, not only did the now presumedly earnest proprietor discount both the Onesie and Jumpsuit+hat combo, but culminated the transaction by wrapping them celebratorily, extemporaneously pointing to a wee vintage-looking plush toy on display over our new uncle's shoulder with which to decorously adorn the gift package. I strongly recommend this shop. It was indeed, boutique not in name only today.

I adore this store. They have the most unique selection of childrens clothes and toys. I read through some other reviews, and would like to say that if you find an item at target that is the same (which would be rare!) and want to support the big chain stores, then by all means shop Target. I like to shop here not only for the great gifts, but to support my local Long Beach small business. Also, the staff does seem to be smokers, but they ALWAYS step out of the way or put their hand above their head to keep it away from the kiddos. The entire staff is super friendly, always remembers me, and always seems so grateful to see me! There is nothing in the world like shopping in places where you are appreciated as a customer!! Lil Devils specializes in hipster/punk rock clothes and accessories so your baby shower gift will definitely get the biggest "Awwwwwwwwww" from the crowd. There is nothing cuter than a newborn baby rockn a Bob Marley T shirt. Maybe it's because its refreshing to dress your kid in something you would wear yourself. Even though the nursery section is not that big, just entering the gate from the sidewalk is a joyful, magical discovery for me...I love viewing all of the beautiful greenery. There are some new plants on each visit I've made, I usually see at least one plant I've either never seen before or don't know the name of until I look at the sticker on the container. They even sell some vegetable garden herbs and small potted plants, albeit a rather small selection. Towards the back left of the outdoor space, there is a section for garden signs and decorations, and just beyond is an indoor store with random items like clothing, kitchen towels, olive wood bowls and spoons, jams and jellies and jewelry. Within the past few months we have taken several strolls up and down the sidewalk to visit the shops on Main, but this one is a must every time I am in the area. I always try to hit this store up first if I am in the area close to sunset as they close at 5 pm. Street parking is Free for two hours, just enough time to walk through some shops and down a few blocks to the Seal Beach Pier which is well maintained with great views of Long Beach in the distance.

Service is hit & miss. Depending on the clientele & how busy it is, you may get helped quickly or you have to wait until the ladies finish chatting with coworkers or clienteles. Parking is tight on weekends but the flow of customers coming and going out of FB has never made me drive around the block more than once or twice. Because FB has always had what I needed.
