We brought photos of the room, the rug, etc...and they were so helpful in choosing a fabric that brightened up the room! Our second recent project was an 1800's Victorian Corner Chair that was in the attic for years. I emailed Barry photos and he emailed right back with suggestions (to not refinish the wood as to keep the original patina) and a quote. We brought in the chair and Toni brought out various samples to choose from. The orignial silk was a teal/blue and she assisted us in finding a beautiful fabric. The chair was polished and looks just gorgeous. This family has the knowledge, the eye and the professionalism you need! And they are very responsive and super friendly. The owner was VERY patient with us, and took the time to explain all the different upholstery and throw pillow options, as well as working with a color scheme to complement the room. He made suggestions and guided us, while accommodating our needs and preferences. Delivery and installation went smoothly. Even after purchase, the owner was willing to answer new questions we had. An added bonus is supporting a locally owned business, instead of a private equity-backed chain which may or may not be around tomorrow (see: Mitchell+Gold). Overall, I was very satisfied with my first shopping experience at Hedi's, I hope to make other furniture purchases from them in the future.

This shop delivered one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had!…read more We were looking for a glider chair for our new nursery, and while Bellini Baby Furniture may look like a small shop, the gliders they had were the most comfortable we've tried in the greater Boston area (and we've tried crate and barrel kids, jordan's furniture, pottery barn kids, gliders owned by friends/family...). The gliders were also very reasonably priced (on par or cheaper than some of the gliders we tried in pottery barn kids) with tons of options for fabric customization. Beth was able to get us an appointment on short notice on New Year's Day and was extremely knowledgeable about the glider's make and quality. We ordered the glider close to our due date, but Beth did everything she could to get us the glider within a good timeframe and the delivery was perfectly timed. I would highly recommend this shop to friends and family. You should really stop by!!

Bellini's gave us superior customer service and the wait time for the glider was much shorter. We also liked the fact that they set up appointments when you visit their store so they can actually listen to what you want and help you find the product that fits your needs. We ended up with a chair that really met our needs in comfort and quality.

If you find a designer to be expensive, then the furniture will most likely be too expensive as well. This is a wonderful showroom to gain exposure to the world of Janus et Cie furniture!

I wish I could give them a thousand stars…read more Probably 40 years ago, my grandmother gave me a chair that had been in her home forever. I loved it, and had it in my apartment for years. My cats destroyed the fabric, and the chair moved to the basement, where it remained until we moved to a new house about a month ago. I almost threw the chair out, but couldn't bear the thought of parting with it. So I contacted Vinny at Miro Upholstery, and he couldn't have been nicer. I went to the store to pick out a fabric, and Vinny suggested that I take some fabric books home. He gave me several books, my husband and I went through them and selected one. Miro picked up the chair and the fabric books, and today, about a month later, the chair was delivered. It is more beautiful than I could have imagined. New foam, new fabric, they touched up the wood - it's an antique chair that looks brand new. I'm completely thrilled. This was an excellent experience, and I would highly recommend Miro Upholstery.

I love his "old school" vibe--he comes personally to your house to inspect the furniture and tell you what is and isn't possible. He promised to get our cushions back to perfect firmness and was true to his word. The couch feels like it's brand new! And kudos to his crew who moved that beast in and out without leaving a scratch!
