Great Job at a Reasonable Price…read more Our electrical outlets in the kitchen went out on Friday afternoon. After requesting a quote on Yelp, Tony, the owner, responded very quickly with a reasonable quote. We set an appt. Saturday morning and he came out personally and did the job. It was not a simple replacement but needed detective work to find the problem. After a lot of searching he found a bad outlet elsewhere in the house that had created an arc and blew the outside breaker. He ended up spending a couple of hours and replaced the breaker and 2 outlets. One of which had burned (we were lucky we didn't have a house fire). I don't write a lot of reviews but want to say that Tony did a great job and has earned a loyal customer.

Will definitely refer him to friends and family and call him again when am ready for my paint remodeling in my house soon....

My husband and I thought long and hard before posting this review, but we felt obligated to let…read morepeople know. We looked at the reviews that were posted and realized that the company had another account a few years ago where the reviews were not all 5 stars. That account must have been deleted. This company will actually pay you to leave a good review, which I was offered a few years back. In good conscience I would not accept the offer. We manage a small complex in town, and the owners decided to try this company again. So we called and booked them for some repairs in a vacant unit. Now let me say, for the most part the work is ok. However, after replacing a door stop and adjusting the front door, it had an annoying loud squeaking sound. My husband decided to text Rob and ask him just to come back and adjust it so it would not squeak and to also finish a few things we asked them to do that were left undone. This is the reply Rob sent back to my husband. (XXXX, to be quite candid with you. I dont want to go back for that front entry door issue. There is no money in that. No offense. But this is all about money. I took care of most of the items on the list. I will bill what weve done and when you have a task with more meat on the bone i will return,  if you choose to call us. Thank you.) We were both appalled after reading this. First of all it would have taken mere minutes to make the adjustment to a job that was not done properly or the door would not be squeaking. Second they did not finish the job with all the things we asked them to do. So his text doesn't make sense, because actually there was more work to be done. So just beware if you don't have a large amount of work they don't want to come, and they don't want to make it right if there is a problem because "there's no money in it for them" if they have to come back and make it right. Skip over this company and just hire someone who will do the job no matter how small or how large. Word of advice for the company, work is work. Most people want the work, if you actually DO the work then you don't have to offer a payment, gift card or discount to get a 5 star review. Just a thought.... *******UPDATE*********** We received this text from Rob the owner after he saw the review. This is unprofessional and speaks for itself Hey XXXX, thanks for thr great review on Yelp So sad bro. That honesty offends you. When the world is full of lies. But hey listen, bussiness is all about money. One day perhaps you will understand that. I will not be billing the ( okay ) work that we did. Im not hurting for money, the okay work we do elsewhere, has paid the bills until now. I will let the parable unfold. You reap what you sow. Thanks and may you have a great night. I guess this reviewer doesn't have to say anything further. This company obviously speaks for itself. If you're looking for a really good handyman company, send me a message. I found one more than willing to come out AND in the same day to fix Original Crafts mistakes and complete the work they wouldn't.

Only issue with the company is I sent in 1 request with 2 repairs including pictures. The quote was pretty high for (1) connecting a hall LED light that was already purchased and (2) changing a motion detection light switch to a normal flip switch (which I did not have the parts for). When the technician arrived, he informed me that the quoted price $350 was for only one of the items. He wasn't aware of the additional repair and would normally have to charge me $175 but would give me a discount and only charge $125. So a total of $475 for less than an hours work. I'm buying a new home that needs a new breaker box, canned lights and additional plugs installed. I can't give them that work because I can't imagine what charges/up-charges I'd be looking at! Yikes!
