It looks even more beautiful. I can not Thank You enough. If any of you out there see this post, you can just see the talent, the time, the patience, the work ethic put into the tint. Come on down and see Derrick at Lights Outt Tinting Window in Buena Park should you be in need of any type of tint for your home, boat, office, and/or vehicle. You Will NOT Be Disappointed. Derek is as "nice" in person as via phone!!!!! I googled "car tints near me" and his company name came up first so I googled the name, read the last 15 reviews and called to make an appointment (he's within walking distance from us) and I give him 5+++++++++ stars on customer service, personality ,workmanship, etc.... We left the decision up to him about tinting (we had no clue just told him to make it legal) we weren't disappointed on the finished product , not only did he finish in the time frame he quoted he a caught a flaw that we didn't see when we inspected and he fixed before we left, will be taking hubby's car to tint windows as a Surprise (he doesn't do Yelp) I HIGHLY recommend Derek and staff for any service you need that they provide!!!! Thank you Derek and staff for an Awesome job!!!!!!!! read more

A few years ago I went to Lights Outt Window Tinting to have my suv windows tinted, and they did such a great job and have such a stellar reputation that I reached out again when I decided I wanted to cool my home and get rid of the glare from the sun; especially in the summer months. Well needless to say, but I'm going to say it anyways, Derrick and his team are amazing! They came in with extreme attention to detail, were very respectful and courteous, made sure to leave everything spotless upon completion, and even wore shoe covers upstairs because they knew we didn't wear shoes on our carpets. I would highly recommend Lights Outt Window Tinting to anyone looking to tint their vehicles, homes and residential buildings. You won't be disappointed. read more

Excellent job tinting my brand new Genesis. Beautiful job, fair price, prompt service.

I've been taking my cars to Derek for about 3 years now. He's never let me down. He's very detailed and does extremely clean work. He uses high quality 3M film, not that weird purple stuff that peels off or bubbles after a few summers. His pricing is fair - if you're looking to come up and get close to free tinting, go to that spot on the corner. Otherwise, go to Derek and pay one time to get good work. He also stands by his work, so if there's an issue he will reply and solve it right away - mind you, that's what he tells me, cause I've never had to go back. Don't hesitate, you'll be very satisfied with the results. I'd post pictures but 1. they don't do the work justice; and 2. others have posted some very nice pictures. read more

Derek always does an awesome job when we need our windows tinted. He very professional and will take good care you.

Satisfied! I've been researching many tint places locally to me and gathering quotes. Not only do I pick a place based on price but more so the vibe I get from the person I am speaking with. When I spoke to a few others they seemed lazy, rude, or tired. When I spoke to Derek, I felt the professionalism and friendliness instantly. He was straight forward and gave me one great price. I liked the price and I loved his enthusiasm over the phone I decided to ask for an appointment with him. He was able to squeeze me in the same day which was a Saturday and also Father's Day weekend. I came to his shop which happens to be his garage. The garage was organized, neat, and clean! He had told me it would take about 45 min for what I wanted and that is exactly what he delivered to me. He was quick and he makes it looks so easy but 30 years experience do you really expect anything less? He's very careful and neat with your car and very understanding. Derek is very personable which makes it easier to do business with him. Overall, I was pleased with his service and the wonderful job he did. He made it crystal clear that if a bubble doesn't go away or if anything comes up-just bring it back and he'll fix it right up for you. Thanks Derek read more

BEST TINT IN OC!! I don't normally write reviews, but these guys do an incredible job with high quality materials. The best part is they don't gouge you for money like a lot of the other places I called. Definitely referring them to everyone I know. Thank you again!!! read more

Derek is awesome! Does very great work and is such a friendly guy! I would recommend 100%!!

If I can give zero stars due to the level of unprofessionalism that I just received I would. I called the number that appears here and left a voicemail. After not hearing back I tried calling one more time and finally got a hold of someone. Once I explained I was looking for a quote the person that answered the phone hung up. I waited a couple of minutes to see if they would return my call but nothing. I tried calling back Giving them the benefit of the doubt that maybe the call got dropped on accident and now I don't get a response from anyone. I was pretty excited to take my business to this Establishment as my cousin told me about him because he lives right around the corner from him. Even if it cost me more money to go elsewhere I will definitely be doing that. read more

Best Tint place ever...I've been going for years and never one issue. Super fast, friendly service from the owner Dereck.

Derek is the ONLY person we've trusted with our cars (9 total) and every job has been great! He and his assistant are the nicest guys and know exactly what they're doing. Excellent quality tint, professional install every time! read more

I have taken three cars to Derek since 2005. Each car was different in size and shape- not that it mattered to him, because each one was tinted exactly to my specifications. I have always left his garage feeling impressed by his work and the reasonable cost; and those feelings have not subsided over time. In fact the tint job he did in 2005 still looks brand new 8 years later! It's the reason I have gone back, and will go back, to him every time I get a new car. Derek genuinely cares about doing a good job and will spend time talking to you to make sure he knows what you want. If you're not an expert (like me), he will tell you the benefits of having your car tinted a certain way. I always recommend him to friends for both cars and buildings (as he does both). read more

Derek (owner) was amazing. I researched a lot of tint shops in the area and called them all, too. We were looking for protection from the sun not to improve the looks of the car. Derek took the time to educate me on what I was looking for. I called back a couple weeks later and made an appointment. His shop (his garage) was super clean and professional. His staff was just as helpful. He did a knockout job on my girlfriend's car. I highly recommend. By appointment only which makes it even better. read more

No joke, first time in my life where I go with the first vendor I meet instead of scouting out all the other potentials. We loved how personable and informative Derek was and how he was willing to put up samples on our home window at no cost for us to feel out the different colors and tint %. There was never any pressure and we never felt pitched! We felt the price was reasonable and took the plunge! No regrets! read more

Friendly service, great job, excellent end result! Derek's experience shows through his work and my car looks awesome. I was nervous to take my 65' Cadillac to anyone to get the windows done but Derek did it perfectly!! Other window tint shops quoted me almost a hundred dollars more to tint it because it is "a classic". Derek gave me a more than fair price which anyone can appreciate. Overall, Honest work, good people, and a great price that comes with the lifetime warranty! Can't beat it! Very happy! read more

My husband needed his work truck windows tinted. I call Derek he returned my call immediately . We needed a Sunday appointment since my husband has been working 6 days a week. This was a very fast and professional tint job. I had them tint just my front driver and passenger car window since my back windows were already factory tinted. It turned out perfect. They cut the tint as close as possible to the top of the windows which I like alot because it looks extremely professional. Just be advised this is a residential house he works out of so there is no lobby to wait in. You can either just hang out until its done or better to just get dropped off and come back. But like I said he is very quick and knows his job well. This is my new tint place for any future cars I buy. 5 stars. read more
