I've been coming to Alpha Tint in Stanton for years, which is why this experience was so disappointing. I recently went in to use the lifetime warranty because my window tint was clearly purpling and bubbling. Instead of honoring the warranty, the owner pointed to the rear window where the tint was cracked and claimed that was the only "bubbling." He then insisted that the obvious air pockets and purpling on the front windows which they originally installed didn't qualify as bubbling and therefore weren't covered. I was told that only bubbling is covered under the lifetime warranty, not purpling. As a result, they refused to replace the front window tint under warranty and instead quoted me $150 for the front windows and $300 for the rear. After being a loyal customer for years, I expected them to stand behind their work. A lifetime warranty should provide peace of mind, not become an argument over technical definitions to avoid honoring it. Very disappointing customer service. Based on my experience, the "lifetime warranty" doesn't mean much if they can simply decide that obvious tint failure isn't covered. I won't be returning, and I can't recommend Alpha Tint based on how they handled this situation. Will add the "non bubbling" and "not purple" images asap. read more

I've been coming to Alpha Tint for over 20 years, and Yong--the owner and operator--has tinted every one of my vehicles. Just had my Jeep Wrangler done (photo posted!), and once again, the work is flawless. Yong is a true professional who takes pride in his craft. He's honest, meticulous, and delivers consistent, high-quality work every single time. Whether it's a daily driver or a custom vehicle, I know it's in good hands at Alpha Tint. The tint always looks clean, lasts for years, and the service is always quick and reliable. This is the kind of shop you stay loyal to because they earn your trust over and over again. Thank you, Yong, for 20+ years of solid work--I'll be back for the next one! read more

Prior to coming in I called to get a quote on ceramic window tint for my Acura RDX. The owner was very responsive and friendly. My husband took in my car for me to get two windows tinted. Ceramic tint has lifetime warranty which is a plus! Def great value! Highly recommend this place. read more

I've been coming to Alpha Tint for almost 15 years to have the windows tinted in all my cars and trucks for the quality of the job and VERY competitive prices. Yong is a one-man operation with low overhead so he can beat ANY price of other businesses. Recently, I noticed the film on my huge rear window was bubbling from using the rear window defroster over the last EIGHT years...yes, the window film was done in 2015. Yong removed the old tint and installed new film under his Life Time warranty and charged only $35 for the service. Prior to returning to Alpha Tint, I tried a few others like Rhino Films and Detailing in HB and was quoted $95/hr for tint removal and over $200 for new film. I didn't get a final quote because I didn't think they would do the job for less than $300. Alpha Tint was a no-brainer to do the job. Bottom line, you can save HUNDREDS by using Alpha Tint for your window tinting needs and you'll have no problem recommending Yong to your friends.. read more

My family has done 3 of our cars here! Always GREAT PRICES and EXCELLENT QUALITY. It's a lifetime warranty for these car tints, so that's a huge plus. Each car for 5 windows (the 4 passenger and back window) were around the prices of $170-180? It's a one man business so be patient with your vehicle because he can get several cars per day if you don't call early to check for a spot. Usually 2 hours for tinting one car. read more

My husband and I discovered Alpha Tint when we lived locally in Huntington beach and have been repeat customers since. The quality of work is amazing and the prices are very reasonable. Great price and fantastic tinting job. Highly recommend and will be back for future vehicles.

I have had 8 vehicles dating back to 2012 tinted here. Excellent prices and outstanding work.

This shop was referred to us and let me tell you this small shop doesn't disappoint. We've taken our 2023 Highlander in for side and rear windows in the ceramic tint about 6 months ago. This shop owner knows what he's doing. Windows came out great We've had no problems at all. Recently we took in our 3024 Tundra TRD pro. Had him do side and back windows again fantastic job!! We didn't know that the sunroof window gets extremely hot due to the thin fabric in only covered with. So we just took it in and again fantastic job!! read more

Base on the reviews, I decided to give this place a try. Got my 2 front windows and windshield done. Took him about 2 an half hours to get it done. I was getting restless because I've just drove 6 hours into town. But man. Watching him work, I can definitely say it is worth it. Took so much extra care that I don't mind the wait. Thanks man. 4 star for now because nothing is perfect. I'll wait a week to see if there's air bubbles. If not then I'll bump it to a 5. read more

I called and made an appointment which I suggest everyone do in advance. On the day of I realized it was one guy doing all the work and he was really no nonsense about it. I had to have my tint removed first and he quoted me 3 hours for the work. But it really was more 1.5 hours total for 3 windows. I was pleasantly surprised by his efficiency and pricing! I've called around a few places for quotes and this was the best price point. Don't expect any glitter and glam here. It is a old garage and their waiting room really only had magazines from 2-5 years ago for entertainment. But the work is honest and professional. I'll probably be back to tint the rest of my windows later! read more

I came in around 11:30 am after I called for a spontaneous time to get my tint done, the owner explained well over the phone 190 cash will work for all 5 windows, but then explained theirs tax if u use credit/debit card so I just pulled out cash and left him with 200$ because he went beyond to even clean in/out of my windows & he even cleaned all my door panels with some chemical and almost got it all good, it looked like he left it like how I came in. He's very honest and reliable, this will be my 4th car I've taken to him & he does great work, even though he smokes he's careful with doing it when my doors are open! Good job man thank you read more

Glad to see this business doing well over a decade later after I took a chance on a business with zero reviews initially. Popped in recently to get my tints done for another car and had the same efficient experience, another 5 star from me. Thanks again. read more

Awesome work for a great price! I have been going here for years and Alpha Tint has never disappointed me with the finished product!

Absolutely wonderful job tinting the windows in my new 2021 Lexus sedan. I called in the morning and made an appointment for the same day.It took about 1.5 hours from start to finish, only cost $165 which I feel is very reasonable, and the result is beautiful. The tint color (#2) is perfect for me and there are no bubbles, scrapes, or noticeable imperfections. I received several compliments on the windows over the next few days. I had some difficulty finding the shop - it's a small two car garage next to several other garages so look closely for the red alpha tint sign. There are only two dedicated parking spots and a small strip in front of the shop that is shared with the garage. I recommend getting a ride to do something during the process as there is only a small room to sit in with a couch. The couch is comfy but the TV was not on and the magazines are older. The owner, Mr. Yong, was pleasant on the phone. He smokes cigarettes and there is a faint odor around the facility. But, for me, this does not lower the score because I wanted my windows tinted and don't care about the amenities of the shop. I recommend alpha tint and will be returning with all of my vehicles. Remember do not roll your windows down for two days. It would be a shame to damage wonderful work. read more

He did a really good job on the tint. Unfortunately, I ask if he could do 15% and he did 5%. At the end of the day, it looked good and I was in a rush. read more

Update: They will not redo your tints if there are dust particles / bubbles on the windshield. A previous Tint shop, if you weren't happy with the tints due to bubbles caused by debris such dusts or fiber, they will redo the tints for you. Also, my front windshield is CLOUDY under direct sunlight. See pics. ----------------------- They quoted me an unbelievable price compared to all the other shops. They are very busy and it took me a while to get my car to them to work on. I finally got my car in on Saturday afternoon. They quoted me over the phone for dirt cheap. I went by the shop and they honored the price even though they had to do 7 windows instead of 5 since my rear windows were partitioned. It was around 3pm when I got there and I decided to add my front windshield. So the initial 2 hours of labor was now 4 hours. I asked them again, are you sure you can do this today? They said yes. So I left them my car and didn't hear from them until 8:15pm. I felt bad they had to work longer hours on the weekend. They were still nice about it gave a brief info on the tints and not to do anything to it for 2 days. I only had an extra $10 so I gave it to them. If I had more, I would have tipped them more. Nice guys, they to great work. Car wasn't messy and no scratches on any of my car interiors. Just a few drips of water on the doors and door panels. No biggie. I do see some bubbling on some of the tints and will give it a week or so. If it's still there, they better fix it! Oh, and they didn't tell me the front were illegal until after they did it. haha whatever read more

I called them when another tint shop down the street told me it would be a 3 hour wait to get my car even started on. Alpha Tint did a tremendous job and I was out of there in about 2 hours. He was very thorough with how he removed the old tint and with making sure there were no air bubbles on the new tint. Great job! read more

Alpha Tint - About 7 hours after leaving the tint shop - Auto Glass Services Near Me - Stanton, California

Reasonable prices and will accept walk-ins. Just make sure you call beforehand. For a walk-in you most likely will be better off dropping it off than wasting your time waiting around (since he may have appointments or other cars prior to work on). It only cost $165 to tint my Honda Civic - great price and great quality. The -1 star is that he does smoke so your car may smell like cigarettes and you can't roll your windows down for 2-3 days. My nose is sensitive so it was a bit bothersome. A trip to the store getting an air fresher was helpful. read more

Great service, great value. I have taken 12 cars to Alpha Tint. Tremendous workmanship on every vehicle. Never had one problem with the window tint on any of my cars. read more

Always honest and does a great tint , took 5 of my cars here very satisfied with the tint and price every time !

Yong does it again! Recently added another car to the family, of course I immediately called Alpha Tint to get a quote because I knew that they do quality work. My girlfriend brought in the car to Alpha Tint on Thursday. They were a little backed up, but they were very accommodating. After selecting our shades (gave the Lexus the same treatment as the Honda), Yong got to work. Of course, the results were great, and based on my Honda I know this will last a long time. In the days following, I sent 3 of my co-workers to Alpha Tint, all who are very satisfied with the work done. I will continue to send them business from my customers, family, and every car in my household. Lee up the good work. Best prices in town without having to compromise quality. 5+stars read more

This shop is not one of those laser cut crap. These guys mastered the Old School way. They use Johnson window tint film. Most of the cars and trucks are priced from $120-$150 not the cheapest but it's worth it. Make sure you make an appointment with the guy who smokes cigarettes while he cuts the film with his right hand and make adjustment with his left. Trust me and you can thank me later. read more

My family has been bringing cars to this shop here since 95 and the owner Yong has always done a phenomenal job every time. I made the mistake of taking my last car to another tint shop where they took a torch to the window and cracked it and of course blamed it on me. Yong has always been readily available to take care of all my cars. This is the 6th car I have taken to him and had it done in less than 2 hrs. I just bought a used 4 series and the dealer did a terrible job removing the previous tint and Yong cleaned up all the messed up areas before applying my new tint. He mentioned he has been doing for 28 years and it shows. 5 stars all around from service to price. Best price for the quality and work that he does. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get their car tinted. Thanks again Yong!!! read more
