I needed tints for my brand new BMW and after calling around The Tint Monkey was able to do it for me on the day I needed and for such a good price. The whole experience was positive. I told him what I wanted and he he said it would only take about an hour. He called me in an hour to let me know my car was done and I picked it up. A few days late on my review only because I was waiting for the tint job to cure so I can see the final results. Absolutely splendid! I was comparing tint prices and came across this place, which I contacted last minute this past Saturday morning to see if I could get tint done. The pricing is definitely good compared to other places, very much affordable. Mike, the owner, was extremely quick to reply to my messages and millions of questions that I had and was able to accommodate my needs and got me in at 10:30AM on the SAME DAY. As I arrived Mike went ahead and drove my car into the building, through the front doors. I didn't have anyone at the moment to give me a ride so I decided to wait there. I had my car tinted with 20% ceramic tint and also yellow tint on the fog lights. I watched him work and carefully apply the tint, even redoing a PITA (pain in the a$$) window a few times! This place does horrible job on your car. You spend money to better looking car, but you ended up getting half finished job, and he would avoid you. I understand about supply shortage, so it would take time to do the job. However, constant delay after the film arrived after he told me it is ready to be picked up is not acceptable. Before I pick up my car, Mike said my car would be ready to pick within certain time, and later time, he told me to pick it up. When I get there his som Ryu is working on my car and not even nearly finished. Mike assure it will be ready soon when I asked how long would take to finish, but I personally though that it would be done soon on that day. I offered Mike that would come back next day, and as soon as I said that, his son looked at me thanking me because he was so exhausted. They were pretending it can be done, and they were just hoping to tell them i would come back later. Of course, next it wasn't done. A week later, he said it is ready to be pick up, and he left car outside and no one was there. He asked me take my car with my spare key and pick my key from him later. There was a reason why he wasn't there. When i picked up both side mirrors and driver side of fender were not wrapped. It has not been touched after I left a week ago. When I called him for not completely wrapped, he asked me to come back with my car next weekend. When I inspected closer at home, wrapping was already peeling and an amateur done it. The person who done it was Mike's son Ryu worked on my car, and Mike didn't even fix his mistake. After I picked up my car he stopped answering my calls and text. The last text message I got from him was "need more time". My car has been fixed, no money returned. They are amateurs and not trust worthy. Go someplace else. Update: Mike replied, just blaming and alter what we agreed. Just classic irresponsible. He says a few hundred bucks, he says. $1500 and throw my car to his kid who has no skills at all. It is cool to supervise and teaching your son about your work, but if he is doing half as job, than you fix his mistake. 5 years outside sitting??? You said 4 years sitting outside on Google review reply. Why 5 years sound better for your coverups? LOL Don't let me start posting our texting snap shots. I did show the picture of my car condition, and you SAW my car condition. You held my car in your shop for more than a week before your son started working one it. Yes, you said many dents, but it will look better you said. I replied you that I am not looking for a perfection, and I don't care dents. All I wanted was FINISHED wrapping. You DID NOT FINISH wrapping my car, you start dodging my calls and text for appointment. Peeling off, that is not from dirt and dents, it is from your son's amateur work!!! STOP scheming your customer and do your job. Yes, you were my business neighbor, what is got to do with not finishing job paid in full??? I trusted you. You told your son got an accident, and trying to settle cash. You asked me to pay in advance because you are almost done with showing pictures. Since you were my old neighbor and a friend, I did you a favor. You are doing it to some you know, God knows how you're gonna do it some you don't know. So far, he's wrapped the entire body AND tinted the windows to two of my trucks (Tundra 4X4 and 4-Runner) and four motorcycles (Both my Yamaha R6 and BMW R NineT twice). The tint on all my vehicles has lasted throughout multiple weather conditions and off-roading adventures. I was really impressed with how nicely it's held up through the years. Regarding the wrap jobs, he can do exactly what you want as far as design and quality. I actually trusted him to pick out the color scheme of one of my motorcycles and it turned out better than I could've ever imagined myself. He has an artistic and talented eye for these things.
