Amazing people! Fast quality work. They take their time to explain the process and product

Great communication and excellent work. I initially reached out for a quote. Their price is competitive. There are many tint shops in the area, but their vibe was the best for me. I got ceramic tint all around on my vehicle and am happy with the quality of the work. No upselling, no bs. Mike is awesome to work with. read more

I was recommended to them by a friend. When the tint didn't turn the way we expected, he helped me out and made sure I left happy. That's great service. I would recommend him to my friends and family because he really cares about what he does and will treat your car with care. He quoted me $400 for my windows on a '25 Honda Accord just to give y'all a range. Good value ! He lets you chill in his lounge area with a couch while you wait. There was a day it was v hot and I was tired so he said I was welcome to take a nap. Treated me like family ! If you're local to OC, def check out Tint Monkey for your car tinting needs. read more

I was driving by and saw this place and decided to stop on a whim. So glad that I did. Michael and his son got my windows tinted in an hour and the job is spectacular. They were very kind, customer service was great, and the quality did not disappoint. I recommend everybody to get their windows tinted here. read more

Removed my tint the same day, for legal reasons. They answered quick and scheduled me the following day, great price :)

Mike is the absolute best. I just purchased a new Porsche and needed it to be ceramic coated, full PPF, and all windows tinted (including front and back). He did such a good job with my vehicle. I really wish I can give this place more than 5 stars. The price here is extremely reasonable. I was getting quotes anywhere from 9000 to 12000. Mike was a fraction of that cost. He is the best value in this entire business. Drove from LA and I'm glad I did. Mike is a professional and a car enthusiast. He and his son made sure that my car was perfect. read more

Best tint shop in town. Good service. Tint while you wait. Regular cars. Trucks. Or expensive sports car. Hes got ya covered.

A few days late on my review only because I was waiting for the tint job to cure so I can see the final results. Absolutely splendid! I was comparing tint prices and came across this place, which I contacted last minute this past Saturday morning to see if I could get tint done. The pricing is definitely good compared to other places, very much affordable. Mike, the owner, was extremely quick to reply to my messages and millions of questions that I had and was able to accommodate my needs and got me in at 10:30AM on the SAME DAY. Honestly, if I never looked on Yelp I would have never known about this place, even though I drive down Garden Grove Boulevard all of the time. I would consider it a "hidden gem". As I arrived Mike went ahead and drove my car into the building, through the front doors. I didn't have anyone at the moment to give me a ride so I decided to wait there. While looking around the shop you can definitely figure out Mike's interests.. motorcycles, cars, etc. This guy does it all! I had my car tinted with 20% ceramic tint and also yellow tint on the fog lights. I watched him work and carefully apply the tint, even redoing a PITA (pain in the a$$) window a few times! In just under 2 hours he finished everything, and it looked AMAZING. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone! NOTE: He also does wraps and PPF (paint protection film)! read more

I needed tints for my brand new BMW and after calling around The Tint Monkey was able to do it for me on the day I needed and for such a good price. The whole experience was positive. I told him what I wanted and he he said it would only take about an hour. He called me in an hour to let me know my car was done and I picked it up. He only takes Venmo, Zelle, or cash but that works with me. Pricing is really good compared to other tint shops in the area and it was an easy process. I highly recommend The Tint Monkey. read more

Love this place! Michael is awesome at what he does. He's fast and efficient. I love how easy he makes it. He responds quickly and the best part is that it's not an all day thing where you leave your car and come back hours later - he does the job right there while you wait and it takes about an hour. It's a well run and well organized business establishment that's professional but also fun and cozy. Michael is a super friendly and easy going person. Love his vibe and the shop. Come in once and I promise you won't go anywhere else for tint ever again. You'll probably want to come back just to hang with the owner. read more

Mike is an exceptional individual and a perfectionist when it comes to tint work. He was prompt, accommodating, and worth the drive to Garden Grove. His shop is tucked away, but the prices are very reasonable and the results are outstanding Thank you sir. Appreciate you! read more

Mike is great, I told him the version I had that I wanted a bronze/gold mirror tint to give the van a space rover look (which is it does but is hard to see in the photo) and it came out better than I expected. I had to take an unexpected business trip and he was cool enough to let me leave my van at the shop over the weekend while he worked on it. I thought the price was fair, I do have 11 windows. Solid guy, highly recommended to any of my friends. Easy to work with and communicative. read more

This place does horrible job on your car. You spend money to better looking car, but you ended up getting half finished job, and he would avoid you. I understand about supply shortage, so it would take time to do the job. However, constant delay after the film arrived after he told me it is ready to be picked up is not acceptable. Before I pick up my car, Mike said my car would be ready to pick within certain time, and later time, he told me to pick it up. When I get there his som Ryu is working on my car and not even nearly finished. Mike assure it will be ready soon when I asked how long would take to finish, but I personally though that it would be done soon on that day. I offered Mike that would come back next day, and as soon as I said that, his son looked at me thanking me because he was so exhausted. They were pretending it can be done, and they were just hoping to tell them i would come back later. Of course, next it wasn't done. A week later, he said it is ready to be pick up, and he left car outside and no one was there. He asked me take my car with my spare key and pick my key from him later. There was a reason why he wasn't there. When i picked up both side mirrors and driver side of fender were not wrapped. It has not been touched after I left a week ago. When I called him for not completely wrapped, he asked me to come back with my car next weekend. When I inspected closer at home, wrapping was already peeling and an amateur done it. The person who done it was Mike's son Ryu worked on my car, and Mike didn't even fix his mistake. After I picked up my car he stopped answering my calls and text. The last text message I got from him was "need more time". My car has been fixed, no money returned. They are amateurs and not trust worthy. Go someplace else. Update: Mike replied, just blaming and alter what we agreed. Just classic irresponsible. He says a few hundred bucks, he says. $1500 and throw my car to his kid who has no skills at all. It is cool to supervise and teaching your son about your work, but if he is doing half as job, than you fix his mistake. 5 years outside sitting??? You said 4 years sitting outside on Google review reply. Why 5 years sound better for your coverups? LOL Don't let me start posting our texting snap shots. I did show the picture of my car condition, and you SAW my car condition. You held my car in your shop for more than a week before your son started working one it. Yes, you said many dents, but it will look better you said. I replied you that I am not looking for a perfection, and I don't care dents. All I wanted was FINISHED wrapping. You DID NOT FINISH wrapping my car, you start dodging my calls and text for appointment. Peeling off, that is not from dirt and dents, it is from your son's amateur work!!! STOP scheming your customer and do your job. Yes, you were my business neighbor, what is got to do with not finishing job paid in full??? I trusted you. You told your son got an accident, and trying to settle cash. You asked me to pay in advance because you are almost done with showing pictures. Since you were my old neighbor and a friend, I did you a favor. You are doing it to some you know, God knows how you're gonna do it some you don't know. Please guys, save your trouble and money, and go somewhere else. PM me and I'll prove everything to you. read more

Best tint shop in socal. Mike definitely knows his cars and how to make sure your tint comes out the best.

Great customer service!! So friendly and fast. My husbands strip on his mini came out great!!

Mike at Tint Monkey knows what he's doing. It's evident he's precise in all the work they do at Tint Monkey. I came to his shop almost a year ago to tint all the windows in my car. This past weekend, my passenger side window was broken into in a "smash and grab" burglary. I wanted to ensure that tint paper would be consistent, so I found Mike at his new HUGE location in Santa Fe Springs and he took care of me. Stop looking , this is it. I'm glad to have looked around , did research for my upcoming model y and found this place. Honestly very nice work done here. Very transparent with his business and very professional. My experience goes a bit something like this. Dropped my car off at the shop so he could start working on it. Was about to order an Uber but he offered to drop me off! Super nice ! Gave me regular updates and finally after a few days it was done! Came by to pick it up and it is just so beautiful. I went for the expel stealth PPF and the tint. Very reasonable competitive prices here and really treats his customers with compassion. Truly a breath a fresh air considering all the other shops just want your money, car done, and you out. Get your work done here. I've recommended my friends/coworkers to get their work done here as well. Going to get my girls model 3 done here too! Thank you Michael for everything ! Repeat customer for sure. read more

Great, quality and honest company. Mike truly cares about making their customer happy.

Mike a.k.a. The Tintmonkey is my absolute FAVORITE and go-to for any wrapping or tinting needs. I come from LA and drive all the way out to OC just for his work. So far, he's wrapped the entire body AND tinted the windows to two of my trucks (Tundra 4X4 and 4-Runner) and four motorcycles (Both my Yamaha R6 and BMW R NineT twice). The tint on all my vehicles has lasted throughout multiple weather conditions and off-roading adventures. I was really impressed with how nicely it's held up through the years. Regarding the wrap jobs, he can do exactly what you want as far as design and quality. I actually trusted him to pick out the color scheme of one of my motorcycles and it turned out better than I could've ever imagined myself. He has an artistic and talented eye for these things. I'm constantly getting compliments on my wrapped vehicles and people have repeatedly mistaken it for a high-quality paint job. I personally prefer wraps, because there are more benefits, especially if you want to preserve the original color of your vehicle. He's done such an amazing job and is also the chillest dude. He's knowledgeable in his craft and gives valuable input if you have any questions or concerns. And the fact that his customers enjoy hanging out with him in the shop speaks volumes on what kind of person Mike is and further validates the overall positive environment. I truly appreciate genuinely good service like that. His work ethic, fun personality and quality work has brought me back many times. Come meet The Tintmonkey for yourself! It'll be worth your while. read more
