This place I found here on yelp a while back. I got my car done here in 2016 and had to get it done twice within a couple days (less than a week). Which should have been a red flag. Now, 7 years later, the tint on my car is getting bubbles and not looking good. I HAVE TO GET IT DONE AGAIN! I had my other car done somewhere else and it's still good after 15+ years! It's been about a month now after I got my windows tinted here and it feels so much better, cooler and no BUBBLES in my tint. It is a family owned business, they are by appointment only. I did call in and got an appointment the same day. You can drop off and pick your car up later or you could wait like I did until your car is done. Went to sound tint again. This is my third time there and my third car. I just recently bought a 98 Honda Civic hatchback for my daughter to daily. It needed tint really bad. I got the 35% rear and 50% front windows tinted. He removed my old tint and saved my rear defroster. The car has manual door locks and I wanted an alarm also. He quoted a fair price, not the cheapest, but fair price and got the alarm hooked up and made the locks power locks. Also, the car had a bad passenger window regulator, also manual and he repaired that as well. The owner, Michael I believe, took care of everything. The cost got a bit expensive, but for the amount of work at the end of the day I was still saving and he still came out cheaper than other tint shops. I'd give my quote up, but that wouldn't be fair to his business and also every car is different and the price would be different as well. I came in to Michael with two different cars that needed tinting. I had no idea on what tint was appropriate, just wanted something to block out some of the heat with the oncoming heatwaves. Very knowledgeable. Was handed down a 2010 Nissan Rogue that has been through a couple of damages and wanted to have Bluetooth music and a backup camera. Researched a bit on aftermarket in-dash stereo systems and decided on an Alpine ilx-w650. Michael knew what wires/parts were needed to install other than the system so he ordered it for me and install only took 1-2 hours. However, there was a white static noise constantly playing while the car was on and Michael knew what the problem was which was essentially the stock speakers didn't play well with aftermarket stereo systems, usually not a problem with Japanese cars but it is what it is. He suggested to buy a noise filter that will get rid of the noise. He estimated it to be about $45 but ended up costing him $100 since he didn't check the part price at the time of estimating. He decided to just charge me 45, installed it, and it fixed the issue. read more
