Update - June 11, 2026…read more Leaving my original review below for reference, but I have to say that I think the company is coming back on track. They contacted me last week and we set up the appointment which occurred yesterday. Lights are fully functional and they replaced the transformer with an updated version. Everything is operational and back to how it should be. Hopefully for those of you waiting, service can be performed sooner rather than later. Updating my review back to five stars. Hopefully it holds as long as service and warranty support are operational. Installed lights about two years ago. From the very beginning, issues with synchronizing lights, using phone and app. Several months later ultimately identified as the control box which needed to be replaced. The service manager for my area was fantastic. Admitted to me that multiple sections of the lights were installed incorrectly, but luckily he could fix them. Intermittent issues with lights since then, but they were repaired relatively quickly.

I spent over $5,000 on this system and have been extremely disappointed with the company's customer…read moreservice and support. When issues arise, repairs can take 6-8 weeks, which is completely unacceptable for a product at this price point. It is nearly impossible to speak with an actual person unless you have a very basic support question. For more serious problems, you're left waiting with little communication and no meaningful assistance. The product itself may look appealing, but the lack of responsive customer service and excessive repair delays make it difficult to justify the investment. There are many other companies offering similar products, and based on my experience, I would strongly recommend exploring those options instead. I would not purchase from this company again and would not recommend them to others.

During the consult, she helped me pair lights for different rooms that were interesting and not matchy matchy to each other but complimented each other well. She guided me on finding timeless designs and she stayed within our budget! We felt like we got great service, great product at a great price. I felt like a priority to them and they called multiple times to follow up on my installation. The products were so much better quality than I could have found on Amazon or wayfair- most of them had different metal trim pieces so I can switch from chrome to gold or black as my taste and styles change! Lastly we measured a room wrong and choose a wrong type of bedroom fan. I called, they switched my product out overnight and free of charge. Their priority was my satisfaction!

Spoke with Don and he did all the leg work for me to order it direct from the manufacture and ACTUALLY called me back within the hour! When I called Kichler first they just took my number and said someone would probably get back to me in 24-48ish hours. It was a super expensive replacement piece (as far as glass only goes) and he gave me a 10% discount, didn't charge me for the shipping and organized the easiest pick up location for my friend (I broke my friends light while visiting) since it's over a 2 week wait from Kichler. Not thrilled with Kichler on the price of replacement parts but Don and Lighting Specialist took good care of us.

I placed an online order with Lighting Specialists in Utah and received an automated receipt…read more Then--nothing. No shipping notice, no follow-up for ten days. I emailed them and got no response. When I called, I reached someone who repeatedly said, "I only work in the showroom," but was able to check the order and told me, "It hasn't been processed yet" (read: nobody even looked at it for ten days). When I asked to be connected to the right department, I was told that person was "out of town." But the showroom person was able to cancel the order. Thankfully, this was a small purchase and not a critical part of my home remodeling project--but that's beside the point. Tip for Lighting Specialists in Utah: If you accept people's orders and money online, be prepared to process or respond to those orders within a couple of days--not 10 or more. It's not just bad service--it's irresponsible.

After getting bids from a few other companies, it was clear Momentum was the most honest - other companies included line items for things that were not related to or required for this job. Momentum was also very reasonably priced. As for the work itself, the installation was done thoughtfully, making sure to incorporate my special requests. I'm thrilled with the work they did.
