After watching a movie, I came over to The Shoppes at Beacon Light to get a quick bite at Lighthouse Thai Sushi. Though I was able to find a parking spot, these spaces tend to fill up quickly. Upon entering I was greeted by a female employee who allowed me to sit at any available table since the restaurant was not busy. I placed an order for a glass of unsweetened iced tea with table sugar on the side, steamed gyoza, and California roll. My order arrived within minutes. Here are my thoughts about the food: *The California roll was freshly prepared and was delicious. Less sodium soy sauce was provided for dipping, adding flavor without being salty. *The steamed gyoza was prepared nicely topped with shredded cabbage & carrots, and sliced scallions. The dipping sauce was lightly sweet and tasty. Complemented the gyoza well *I don't really favor unsweetened iced tea, but they didn't have a sweet version. Even after adding four packets of sugar to the drink, it still wasn't as sweet as I would have liked it. I squeezed in a few drops of lemon juice and made due with it. Overall everything was satisfactory and priced reasonably. The server was pleasant and attentive, making sure things was to my liking and asking if I wanted anything else. The atmosphere was really relaxing. I look forward on visiting again to try another dish.

My husband and I came here for sushi while on our Babymoon and were very impressed! There were a ton of options for me that were cooked which I appreciated so much. I got a cucumber roll for the first time and it was so delicious we ordered another one! We also got a roll with brown rice and it was great - I really appreciated the brown rice option. My husband got the Tom Yum soup and said it was the best he's ever had! I got a miso soup and it was good but not super special, the rolls made up for it. The restaurant itself was extremely loud so be prepared for that. Service was very fast, we were in and out quickly. Recommend for sushi in the area!

I've been to my little neighborhood Thai restaurant many times over the last few years, but somehow I was under the impression I had left a review! Let's correct that. Lighthouse Thai Sushi has been in the Beacon Light shopping center for a little over three years or so. This restaurant does consistently strong business, and usually there is a short wait for a table. They appear to have a strong takeout business as well. The restaurant is clean and modern, and there is a small sushi bar. There are a couple tables located outside as well. As there are a few popular restaurants located in the same stretch of the shopping mall, parking can sometimes be a little challenging, but if you're willing to walk a few extra steps, you won't have any problem. My favorite dish is their pad see ew with fried tofu. Their tofu is always perfectly cooked and seasoned. I love that this dish comes with very fresh greens with a nice crunch. I especially love visiting this restaurant during the week when I have the opportunity to take advantage of their incredible lunch specials. For $11 you can get a nice size entrée and that includes either miso soup or salad with peanut dressing. For my most recent visit, I opted for the pad Thai with fried tofu. It is consistently delicious. Service here is always very friendly and attentive. They are always refilling your water glasses. I only have positive things to say about this restaurant and I am glad they are so close to me.

Came here with my dad absolutely loved it! Fast service, workers were friendly, and the food was delicious!! To start I got the garlic edamame, I am not kidding when I say this place has the best garlic edamame! If you're a garlic fan just like me I highly recommend you give this a try! I also got the spicy tuna crispy rice; it was just amazing! Followed by that I got a classic rainbow roll, can't go wrong with that. The fish tasted super fresh which was a plus! Will definitely be coming back here!! Prices were pretty fair compared to a lot of other sushi spots :)

My daughter and I were looking for some Thai food this weekend and so I looked to Yelp for Thai near me. Lighthouse Thai Sushi did not disappoint. We started with miso soup which was very good. We started off with a riceless spice tuna roll, this was good! I had the Pad Woon Sen, and my daughter had the Pad Thai, they were both on point! A small and adorable sushi bar at the back of the dining room and flawless service made for an excellent experience. Lighthouse Thai Sushi will be a staple for us from now on we were very satisfied and happy!

We ordered pepper garlic stir fry, drunken noodle, and shrimp Lo Mein. All the food had the same flavor, everything was sitting in watery sauce. Everything was over cooked, pale, wet, and gross. I've never had a stir fry or Lo Mein that looked like a soup. Think twice about ordering from here. read more

Best sushi in the area! Sushi is incredible and very fresh. The spicy tuna roll is very good. The crab Rangoon is top tier, and the chicken pad Thai stole the show. You can also adjust the spice level in your choice of noodle/rice dish. Definitely go here if you want really good sushi. The flavors in the food are rich and totally worth every calorie. If you're an avid sushi lover, you will love this place. read more

This is my new go-to sushi spot!! Everything I've ordered has been fantastic. I am obsessed with the cucumber pasta. I could literally eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I order it... every. single. time. The service has always been fast and efficient, even with the volume of to-go orders that are usually going out. I also enjoyed the millionaire roll and the tuna crunchy roll. Their menu is extensive and the seafood is always fresh. Prices are above average but the quality is worth it. read more

The food and service here are excellent. We ordered sushi and drunken noodles. My son said his ikura was some of the best he ever had, my daughter thoroughly enjoyed her sushi dinner, and my sashimi and sushi combination was perfect. Very generous amount of sushi, especially for the price. The owners were so kind to my children, and they were friendly and calm even during the busy lunch service. If you are on the fence about which sushi/Thai place to go to in Pompano, I highly recommend this place without reservation. We were visiting from out of town and tried 2 places during our stay. The other one in the area was a far far cry from this one. My son said he would give it 100,000,000 stars if he could. read more

We went to this place based on the other Yelp reviews and so glad we went here. We will definitely be back. We had the crispy rice appetizer, blue crab roll in cucumber (no rice) OMG amazing!, hamachi torched and the crazy yellowtail rolls. Everything was amazing. You could taste all the flavors and the different fishes. We will try the Thai food next for sure. My newest favorite sushi spot! Located right in the vicinity of my backyard, this new gem is just what Lighthouse Point needed. Their food is always very fresh and flavorful. I've eaten both dine-in and take-out and to be honest, dine-in is the way to go. I ordered through Uber Eats and they forgot one of my sushi rolls, but they were courteous enough to honor a credit for a future visit.... mistakes happen! The ambience in the restaurant is very chill and laid back, typical Thai vibe. Crab Rangoons are my absolute favorite - filled with cream cheese and plenty of crab. I wish the portion was a tad bigger, but it's doable. Wonton Soup - super flavorful and fresh. Filled with homemade wontons (huge chunks of chicken, shrimp and meat) plus spinach, scallions and garlic. If you're feeling under the weather, this rich soup will pick you right back up. Sushi - I've had several rolls and although they've all tasted superb and fresh, my top choice is The Bomb (fresh fish on top of a California roll) and the Blue Crab Dynamite roll. Fried Calamari - you can tell the choice of calamari is high quality. You can actually taste the squid and not just breading... don't order through Uber Eats though as it will arrive soggy, but order in person. Overall, love this new place! read more

Food was amazing. Lobster volcano was incredible the seafood mix wasn't just fake crab like a lot of places. Pad Thai was great tasted extremely fresh along with the firecracker roll . I very rarely post but I ordered the Thai basil chicken lunch box and it was amazing! Super fresh, very fast delivery and a large enough portion for lunch and a snack later. I thought the thai basil chicken may be "so so" because I was getting so much sushi and sashimi but it was delicious. The goyza was hot and crispy on the out side and they included all of the extra sauces I asked for at no additional charge. Edamame was fresh and the miso soup a bonus. This is some of the best sushi we've had in a long time!!! From the ambiance to the manager Libi to the serving staff, just a great experience! And the sushi was amazing!!! We had the soft shell crab appetizer (so delicious and delicately prepared!) and the seaweed salad. Followed that up with the Spice Girl roll (no rice) and the Three Musketeers Roll - ah-may-zing!!! The party I was with ended up ordering one each for themselves as well! The mexican roll was simple and enhanced with a little wasabi and ginger. Perfectly bite sized pieces. The salmon basil roll was unlike anything I've ever had before. Pretty much tasted like a caprese in sushi form! Salmon was incredibly fresh, again super tender and melted in your mouth, no fishy taste. The party I was with also ordered three pieces of uni. Was $14.50 a piece, so pretty steep! However the uni was incredibly tender, very similar to butter, however the tail end did have a slightly fishy taste, but it is sea urchin so that's not uncommon. Someone ordered the tempura udon, they said the broth was a little bland, the udon were cooked perfectly, but of course the tempura gets soggy as it's sitting on top of the udon. They also ordered the fried JB roll, the hot mama roll, and an eel and salmon hand roll. While I can't comment on those things, everybody was incredibly satisfied with their meal and everything was reasonably priced. I didn't pay for this meal, so unfortunately I can't comment on the bill, but I can say this is not a cheap sushi restaurant. The prices are a little higher than average, but you're also getting what you pay for. The quality is spot-on and is exactly what you hope for when you have a sushi craving. The service was fast and they made great recommendations. Their sushi roll selection is not huge by any means, but their menu has a lot of diverse options on it. The only thing that I can't stand, but is of course very common with Sushi and Asian restaurants, is having canned soft drinks. This is a personal preference and didn't impact my rating at all. Overall, I would definitely come back to try other things!

We are a party of 10 and were only comped 2 drinks which is unacceptable bc we were all waiting an hour for a reservation. I'm 100% disappointed in this this place! The service is horrible & kids are screaming everywhere! There's no control of the restaurant!

Reservations are required well in advance, and there are 2 seatings daily, 6pm and 9pm, each hosting roughly 7 couples, which keeps the atmosphere serene and intentional. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by the entire staff and seated immediately. We were the first to arrive, so I took the opportunity to admire and take pictures of the space before others arrived. The interior is stunning, breathtaking, and transports you straight to Japan! There's a beautiful private room the back which holds up to 8 guests and the personal chef and low to the group Japanese style seating. On the night we dined, we enjoyed an 18 course omakase tasting, paired with 4 sake tastings. The four sake selections were all exceptional, smooth and refined and unforgettable, even though I regret not capturing each of their names. The meal began with one of the most delicious bites I've ever had, king crab served over a warm and decedent custard. From there each course built on the last. We tasted a variety of salmons, tunas; some completely raw, and some aged to perfection for 14 days. Along with snapper, beautifully grilled Chilean sea bass, and many other crafted dishes. I tried Uni for the first time, and I finally understand why it is referred too as 'ice cream of the sea'. The taste, texture and aroma were all exquisite, creamy, delicate and truly memorable. The experience ended with a warm miso soup, followed by a refreshing melon wedge, and a red bean ice cream sandwiched between two very flaky wafers. Every single bite left me in awe. The chefs knife skills, the precision, the presentation, the simplicity of certain dishes which still packed powerful flavors, it all showcased the artistry of true Japanese fine dining. This was more than dinner, it was an experience. My absolute favorite dish? The A5 Wagu. It was heave on earth, melt in your mouth perfection. If you appreciate fine dining, exquisite flavors, culinarily history, and the craft behind aged, cured and meticulously prepared food, Taki Omakase is an unforgettable experience that you will love from start to finish.

The hibachi chicken was very flavorful with the large portion of fried rice and veggies but the chicken itself was very dry. We would not order that again. I would definitely cone back and try other rolls. They had a lot of cooked rolls on the menu and a lot of take-out traffic. I would also try the Ramen. Parking was easy in the lot, the service was pleasant and the prices were very fair. It is close to home so why not!

She eventually replaced them, but the new glass was also heavily scratched, and what bothered me most was that she took the dirty glass and placed it on another table instead of taking it to be cleaned. The attitude at first felt a little dismissive and rude, although she did become much more polite and helpful as the night went on. Another downside was the bathroom cleanliness. It smelled like a public restroom, which really didn't fit the fancy atmosphere the restaurant was trying to create. Overall, the food was genuinely excellent, but for a place that looks this nice, the cleanliness and attention to detail should be much better.

I have been to Lighthouse Thai Sushi a few times now and each visit has been an absolute delight. Their lunch box special is definitely my go-to choice on the menu, it's just too good to pass up! The amount of food you get for the price is truly unbeatable, and the variety of dishes included is impressive.
