You should also know that they are delinquent filing their Annual Report with the Kansas Secretary of State and do not appear to currently be a legit operation. They appear to be trying to hide their past by changing their website address and phone numbers. They used to have a toll free number and now they just use the owner's (Pat Park) cellphone number. I should know because I have been calling it for weeks and he is screening my calls and won't call me back. Now the short version of our story. I told Pat when I inquired about the system that we would be selling our house in the near future and would need to be able to transfer the system to the new owner. He assured me that would be no problem. We sold our house and it was in the real estate contract that the owner was to take over the system and monitoring. Long story short, Safe Home Security, the monitoring company that Pat Park (Iview Security) set us up with expects us to pay off the remainder of the contract and pay for the equipment that is sitting in my previous house. Initially Pat was helpful and was trying to work with Safe Home Security to resolve this issue. He even responded in an email that he was expecting a credit on our account. We have not heard back since and Pat does not answer calls from me and does not return my messages. He also does not respond to emails. He is obviously hoping we will go away. We won't. We have not gone public with this issue until now as we were hoping it would be resolved. Pat has not followed through and won't return calls so we are moving forward and warning all of our Topeka, KS friends and the public to avoid this so called "security company." Note these guys are just the salespeople for Safe Home Security. Safe Home has their own problems with the Attorney General in their home state. Expect to have a difficult time trying to non-renew at the end of your contract with them. They seem to have problems losing cancellation letters from customers. Good luck with whomever you choose for your security system. I highly recommend not signing any contracts with anybody. Go month to month instead.

He wired the satellite wrong, completely breaking off an access box on the house. The installer didn't take time to place the wiring and receivers in a orderly fashion. I called the owner Adrian Goodlow about my bad experience. Adrian told me that he would mail me a check to cover my first months Directv bill, for all the trouble as well as come by a double check the installation. I don't know that Adrian showed up to double check the installation or not? As of this date it's been 2 weeks from when Adrian said that he was mailing out the first months check. Haven't received it yet? No return phone calls, and is difficult to get a hold of, to follow up. I called Directv and let them know about the experience, and they sent a tech out, the same week the original install was done. The Directv tech fixed all the problems at no extra charge. So if your thinking about getting Directv, I would advise you to go through Directv itself.

I was told that if I paid $40/mo. monitoring fee, I could have a one year contract. The guy who got the existing alarm working had me sign a contract which had pre-printed on the back, a 3 year term. Having to cancel the contract after 4 months due to selling the home, cost us a $732.41 cancellation fee. The remaining 8 months @ $40/mo. = $320. remaining balance. Since, I have no proof of a verbal agreement, I get to pay double. So, beware and know what you are getting yourself into!

Essentially, the faucet on my home is old and it didn't even require any actually work. He tightened what needed to be tightened and showed me in my basement where the shut off value is to prevent any further leaking. He advised that he wouldn't charge me anything since he didn't really "do anything" but I still paid him. Time is money and it's the holidays. His honesty and reassurance of the issue and his care of showing me how to do something myself was worth writing a check. I highly recommend them and will continue to use their services when needed.

Our doorbell does not work but does not need to as I have several dogs. Nooone barked- How does that happen?? And why wouldnt you call before driving away? What if someone was in the shower or something, I mean after all, we did not know he was still coming as he never bothered to let us know, even after promising to call before coming over as I told him I am frequently tied up with my disabled son. Anyway, called him today to see when he is coming and he was hostile and told me he was here and on and on and now wont even consider making us an appt until next week?? I am glad that he has so much business that he can behave this way. I know he wont be troubled by us again. If you are looking for manners and good customer service, I would keep looking. I cant speak about his skill as we never had a chance to experience that. Completely unprofessional. I owned my own business for 25 yrs and NEVER would have even considered treating a customer in this manner.

I switched from ADT to LiveWatch two year's ago and have been extremely happy with the change. Not…read moreonly was LiveWatch less expensive, I have significantly more usable features and functionality with LiveWatch as opposed to ADT. LiveWatch was extremely easy to setup and they even provided a translator device that allowed me to use the existing sensors from my old system. For any issues that arose, LiveWatch's technical support was easy to contact and spent any time necessary with me to make sure my issue was resolved. Most importantly, LiveWatch's monitoring has been much more responsive than ADT's ever was. We had an alarm go off due to forgetting to close our garage door and LiveWatch notified us almost immediately of a pending alarm. Since we were less than 5 minutes from home we were able to go back, close the door and then reset the alarm. Had this been ADT, we would have been much farther away making it very inconvenient to return home. Since that incident occurred, I added a garage door control to the system, which now allows me to close the door remotely and reset the Alarm remotely via the Alarm.com app making it even more convenient. While I am on the subject, the Alarm.com app on my iPhone and ipad is the real power behind the system. With it, I am not only able to control the alarm system remotely, but I can also control my Thermostat and garage door as well as a wide variety of other home automation products including door locks. I am in the process of adding some additional home automation such as smart switches and outlets and the LiveWatch technical support team has been very helpful with guidance and providing me with information on compatible products. I would highly recommend LiveWatch to anyone looking for a home security system.
