I highly recommend that no one uses this service. They are very greedy for money and should absolutely not of charged my mother another months fee. My parents were very loyal long time customers of Lighthouse and when it comes to trying to change the service they wanted to charge her a lot of money for the changes and now when I cancelled the service they charged her an additional month. This is so wrong and it's beyond belief how company's take advantage of people!!!

Showed up there and open sign is off and no one there and no hours of when he will be open. Called number on bldg. and number from my receipt from placing a down payment on this product that was to be repaired and 1 number is disconnected and the other 1 no one will answer and the mail box is full. And my item is being used and used a lot because it is kicking my monthly data over the limit and the product was unable to turn on when I dropped it off there. So someone is using the item and it must be fixed but why have I not been notified and why cant I not reach anyone at this business. I will be calling the BBB and filing a claim with the Attorney Generals Office in the morning. Sad thing is the item belongs to a business. And its also sad that I have had other items fixed here and was contacted in a timely manner that my item was fixed and now I cant get ahold of anyone with this business by phone or in person at there place of business.

I PAID…read morefor all the equipment and cameras (not them)....was charged around $50/month.....in the last property i was only there around 2 years (moved) and they had me pay a cancellation fee as they had me sign a 3 year agreement (which i don't understand as they did NOT front me any equipment...I paid for it).....so why a minimum of 3 years....you'd think they would waive the cancellation fee given the 13 year relationship. Further, why 3 year contracts when they don't pay for the equipment...they charge the customer up front.

I got a call from Neil whose father started the business 30 years ago. He apologized and asked for details. I told him I appreciated the call and would amend my review. He said that was necessary as that is the point of reviews and they messed up. In our conversation, I mentioned that ADT was not scheduled for another week when I am back in town. He asked if he could come over and speak with me about my services. He apologized, discussed my service with me and I chose to renew my agreement with Atronic. They came out today (10/13) to get me hooked back up and I had some requests that they accommodated. I appreciate a local company that takes pride in their work and is not too proud to prove themselves again and ask for your business. ___________________________ This review is more about the service than the product. I moved to KC three years ago and the home I bought had Atronic. I contacted them and continued the service. I wanted to do business with them since they are local and not go with someone like ADT. I switched to Google Fiber 9 months ago and got rid of my land line phone. My security system would not work without the land line. I called and there were some expensive wireless hook up charges and in addition, the monthly fee went up $10 a month. I asked to have the set-up waived since I was a current customer. They would not do it. I decided to cancel service since I never use it. 9 months later I decide I want to re-activate my service. I call them to arrange it and they no longer charge the set-up fee, but the increased monthly fee. Fine. I am told I will get a call with someone to arrange it. Three weeks later I have not heard from anyone. I call back and am told that a form was emailed to me and they were waiting to get it back....from three weeks ago. I never received it. They sent another and it went into my Junk folder, but I was watching for it this time. In those three weeks, I had a call from ADT and went through a quote process with them. It was a better deal, much better actually, and I said no because I wanted to keep it local. Atronic is now waiting on me to fill out a new form (never mind I was already a customer and they have one on file) and they will get me on a service call list once I return it. ADT offered to have a Service Technician out the next day if I would sign up with them. Hello, ADT! Where have you been all my life? If you want to give your money to a company that wants it, I would suggest looking elsewhere. There are other local options.

They are more expensive and they make you sign a 3 year contract instead of a normal 1 year contract and the system they install is below sub-par. I couldn't even use mine because when the dog barked the system would go off even on a low setting which caused more fines. I have recently moved and sold the house and they still make you pay off the remaining contract despite the horrible service they provide. This is a small town business with high prices and low service. Don't do it.
