8 Sept Spoke to the manager Brittany , she said they will refund the cost of the Hawaiian pizza. Ordered 2 pizzas on a 7 Sept 2016 around 7pm. The Hawaiian pizza totally sucked. The pizza had 14 pieces of pineapple that average about 2 pieces per slice and where was the ham we are still looking for it. We called to complain and they blew us off they would not correct the problem. We ordered pizza earlier this week and the pizza was great. Customer service needs to improve greatly. Are you still carrying one of your froze daiquiris and seeking a place that will look the other way and allow you to bring it in? Have a seat, you found what you were looking for. The wife and I had a pizza and breadsticks, and I had a craft beer. All were delicious. They don't have medium sized pies, so we went with a large. Mistake. The small and breadsticks is plenty enough to feed two people (who have been drinking). The large is huge and covered in the delicious toppings. Although it isn't a romantic environment, for most of our meal it was only the two of us in the restaurant, so it was enjoyable. I don't know why this place doesn't have more reviews. The pizza is ridiculous. The crust is thin and crispy and perfectly airy around the edges leaving a little powdery dust on your fingers. I love the ham and pineapple pizza and how it always is served piping hot and the ham comes out browned and crispy on the edges. MMmmmm Jason was an awesome host on our last dining experience turning us on to new and delicious beers. I had my first blue label Chimay even. I didn't know I had been missing out on so much. Our family has been vacationing on Tybee every summer for the last 15 years. The first few years, the place was pretty good; service wasn't great, but not nearly as horrible as it is now. I would now give zero stars if I could. The food is ok, but they certainly charge way too much (you really can buy artisan pizza in Atlanta for less), they hire teenagers who don't seem to care at all about serving the customers, the wait times are exorbitant, and they very often get your order wrong. Was visiting the area and stumbled upon this street. Lots of cool businesses and unfortunately the only pizzeria on the block. Ordered two slices to stay. While waiting for the pizza we noticed the place is shabby looking. Dirty, flies all around especially by the windows and the walls and doors were blackish. Ugh, already I was leery. When the pizza arrived it was handed to us in a round pizza sheet and the slices were stuck together. My husband and I looked at each other and blurred out "frozen pizza." Thats exactly how it looked. It was not a normal size slice like on the photos on here but small like a dominos pizza. The taste? Just like the one's you get from Little Caesars. Worst customer service we've experienced on Tybee Island. Ordered a XL pizza to go, a salad, and breadsticks. They told us 25 minutes we left and came back and ended up waiting a total of about 45-50 minutes. The XL pizza was tiny and definitely not even to feed a family of 4 which is surprising for it being a 16+ inch pizza. The breadsticks were more like bread nuggets and were half the size of a regular breadstick. It seemed like they were made of leftover pizza crust or something. We ordered two calzones and the deluxe specialty pizza (small). The pizza tasted extremely bland and the dough wasn't cooked all the way through either, besides being small enough to only satisfy a munchkin-not much bigger than a Pizza Hut personal pan pizza, but costing $13-what a rip off. There was no discernible ricotta-none that we could see at all-in either of the calzones, and very little mozzarella cheese. The toppings they did put in the calzones tasted horrible. We couldn't believe the cost of the food for what we got - our bill was $40 for horrible tasting food that wasn't enough food to even fill us/satisfy us whatsoever...what a waste. And to top it all off, as soon as we walked in the door, the boy behind the counter literally shoved four cups into my hand without asking or saying anything. Then when we sat down, we found out that they only served bottled water and fountain sodas...no tap water. Essentially, you are required to buy a drink (at $2.50 each for fountain drinks or $2.00 for bottled water, meaning they require you to pay $8-$10 for drinks for four people). You are not allowed to bring any drinks from outside, even water. After we had already ordered, they made us leave because we had our own water. We had to take our food in boxes, and try to carry them on our bikes to go eat the crappy $40 worth of food elsewhere. What a rip off...horrible food and horrible service to boot. There are so many other great places to eat on Tybee Island, forget this horrible, terrible, no good place and go somewhere else. On a recent excursion to Tybee, I had the pleasure of eating at this quaint pizzeria. It is a stone's throw from the pier, so imagine my surprise to find a great pie in place more known for low country boil fare than pizza. I was there with my man and two of his friends, one of them being a 7 foot Scott. We went for the jumbo pie with pepperoni and surprisingly it was enough to feed our foursome well. They dish up NY thin crust style pizza which is delivered to your table piping hot. Like most pepperoni pizza, it was a bit greasy. But if you are like me and eat pizza the NY way by folding it down the center so the grease run down the back.... problem solved! The crust was crispy on the outside while soft and doughy on the inside. The sauce was just the right amount not too little and not too much. As Goldie Locks would say, "it was just right!" The jumbo pizza w/ pepperoni was just $19.58 plus tax and tip. So it was a good meal for not that much dough. Next time I am in Tybee, I will definitely be stopping in for a slice! read more

We ordered take out from Lighthouse Pizza on a Sunday at 7PM during the peak tourist season. They quoted me 20 minutes (we called ahead) and it was ready as stated. The pizza a breadsticks remind me of pizza from the northeast- thin crust, doughy, not too much sauce. I am knocking off a star because of parking if you're picking up. You have to park in the metered spots (the kind where you have to pay at the machine, get the receipt, and put it in your car). Rotten Cheese in Manicotti? Too Bad! No Refunds or Exchanges! My family was visiting Savannah/Tybee for a few days, and we stopped by Lighthouse Pizza in Tybee Island, GA for dinner. What started off as a pleasant meal ended in disaster and a potential food safety violation. Half way through my meal of Manicotti with Mushrooms and beef added, the end of the 2nd pasta tube exhibited a strong sour and acidic flavor, on par with a taste similar to throwing up in your mouth, yech! The manager on duty, Sarah, was full of excuses why she was unable/unwilling to make this situation right. Unapologetic, Sarah was very proficient in making claims as to why I didn't come forth sooner (because the rotten cheese wasn't present in the first pasta tube...), and that I ate most of the plate (I believe there was 1 untouched pasta tube and half of another -- which was rotten -- and a full breadstick). I went ahead and paid the bill for my group to avoid any potential legal issues on my end, but I cannot say the same for them. I find it sad that any business would ever choose to operate in this manner. I will be filing a formal complaint with the Chatham County Health Department when their offices reopen on Monday, and reaching out to my bank. read more

The pizza was so bad I got nausea and could not finish it. The service was slow but I expected it after seeing another couple that had been sitting for a while. We will not be returning. Finally made it here during our 2nd family vacay to Tybee, and glad we did. We stay at the same place every year, at the north end of the Island, while Lighthouse Pizza is along the "main drag" at the south end, by the pier. It's metered parking, but free after 5pm during the week (and I think on the weekends). Anyhow, had read reviews on this place and have to concur that the pizza is very good - if a bit pricey compared to non-island prices. The beer selection is fantastic - nothing else on the island comes close. They probably have 10 draft selections, including many that are atypical of your typical restaurant. And if they don't have something you like on draft (not a problem that we had), their bottle selection appears extensive. We ended up ordering a few salads to share and one of their large pizzas that we customized to make a white/Greek pizza (garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc.). We actually ordered Greek salads and they mistakenly brought us house salads, but our server, Isabelle, immediately adjusted our ticket and actually discounted our salads to below what we would have paid for the cheaper house salads.
