Why would I order a cheeseburger pizza if I'm not really into them? That is a great question. We asked for the lettuce to be left off because lettuce on a hot pizza is unnecessary and I requested we go light on the onion. When the pizza was delivered not even 30 minutes after ordering, I was surprised to see the onion was in fact fresh red onion cooked with the pizza (and it was light on onion). The pickles were thinly sliced spears which I wasn't expecting either, but it worked. The pizza actually looked really cool and that reminded me to take a picture. Then I took a bite. What the what?! It was amazing! I was expecting an ok pizza, as usually cheeseburger pizzas are just ok, but this was out of this world good. Really, really, REALLY good. This is my 2nd visit because my first visit was good. I ordered cheese bread, the young lady that helped me was very friendly. However today two different people were at the counter, as I was walking in neither one of them said hello. Even after I said hello, I was greeted by a young guy with "FOR HERE OR TO GO?" I ordered the cheese bread again, but this time it looked different. It wasn't as much cheese as before and it had a sour taste to it. I threw away alot of bread that wasn't covered with cheese. First let me say- the pizza was delicious. One of the best pizza'a I had since NY/NJ! The bacon chessy bread- is delicious! I would have given it 5 stars but the service we had was pretty bad. Our server was personable enough BUT we had to ask for everything except napkins that was on table. Had to ask for plates, drink refills, Parmesan & Pepper flakes. Today was my first time in Tybee Island and I was excited to try this pizza spot. Upon being greeted by a young guy who asked me "Do You Know What You Want?" I placed my to-go-order and took a seat in the dining room. After waiting over 40 minutes for my order my husband finally asked the cashier about my order and without even checking the kitchen he said "it should just be a few more minutes." 5 minutes later I asked he manager and she went in the back to "check my order" but never came back out to let us know the status. Normally, I would not let a long wait time deter me from going to a place with good food but the service was so blatantly poor and rude that I will never step foot in ANY of these locations ever again. The cashier explained to me that prices of "meat and vegetables" were up and since they did not want to "raise their prices," -- they just tack these surcharges on (without telling you.) Makes sense. I paid an extra $4 for 12 pepperoni after paying an extra $2.59 for having those 12 pepperoni "added" to my pizza. I imagine the other $4 surcharge was for the wings -- who knows. I made a Yelp account specifically to talk about this restaurant. The service was extremely slow and they messed up more than half of our orders. Some food came out in 15 minutes, our other food took 30 minutes. Waitress was rude and didn't care to give good customer service. You cannot order water unless it's bottled water and you have to pay $2 per bottle. All of their orders are final order, therefore if you order a spaghetti that is served completely mushy and overlooked then you are still expected to pay for the inedible food. We tried to get a refund for the mushy pasta and they ended up calling the police on us. While talking to the workers we watched someone ask for a fork and we witnessed the waitress take a dirty fork, run it under tap water, and hand it to the customer. When it arrived, it was very undercooked, overflowing with sauce and light on the cheese. I now know why the menu says they charge extra for well done pizzas. I'd say the pizza was average at best. The staff was sparse and never checked on us again after we got our food. This was the worst experience I have had at a restaurant. The food was terrible, we had to return two of the meals and at first we were still charged for them.
