Why would I order a cheeseburger pizza if I'm not really into them? That is a great question. We asked for the lettuce to be left off because lettuce on a hot pizza is unnecessary and I requested we go light on the onion. When the pizza was delivered not even 30 minutes after ordering, I was surprised to see the onion was in fact fresh red onion cooked with the pizza (and it was light on onion). The pickles were thinly sliced spears which I wasn't expecting either, but it worked. The pizza actually looked really cool and that reminded me to take a picture. Then I took a bite. What the what?! It was amazing! I was expecting an ok pizza, as usually cheeseburger pizzas are just ok, but this was out of this world good. Really, really, REALLY good. This is my 2nd visit because my first visit was good. I ordered cheese bread, the young lady that helped me was very friendly. However today two different people were at the counter, as I was walking in neither one of them said hello. Even after I said hello, I was greeted by a young guy with "FOR HERE OR TO GO?" I ordered the cheese bread again, but this time it looked different. It wasn't as much cheese as before and it had a sour taste to it. I threw away alot of bread that wasn't covered with cheese. First let me say- the pizza was delicious. One of the best pizza'a I had since NY/NJ! The bacon chessy bread- is delicious! I would have given it 5 stars but the service we had was pretty bad. Our server was personable enough BUT we had to ask for everything except napkins that was on table. Had to ask for plates, drink refills, Parmesan & Pepper flakes. Today was my first time in Tybee Island and I was excited to try this pizza spot. Upon being greeted by a young guy who asked me "Do You Know What You Want?" I placed my to-go-order and took a seat in the dining room. After waiting over 40 minutes for my order my husband finally asked the cashier about my order and without even checking the kitchen he said "it should just be a few more minutes." 5 minutes later I asked he manager and she went in the back to "check my order" but never came back out to let us know the status. Normally, I would not let a long wait time deter me from going to a place with good food but the service was so blatantly poor and rude that I will never step foot in ANY of these locations ever again. I ordered a pizza (half pepperoni and half cheese) and wings and found TWO $4 surcharges. The cashier explained to me that prices of "meat and vegetables" were up and since they did not want to "raise their prices," -- they just tack these surcharges on (without telling you.) Makes sense. I paid an extra $4 for 12 pepperoni after paying an extra $2.59 for having those 12 pepperoni "added" to my pizza. I imagine the other $4 surcharge was for the wings -- who knows. I made a Yelp account specifically to talk about this restaurant. The service was extremely slow and they messed up more than half of our orders. Some food came out in 15 minutes, our other food took 30 minutes. Waitress was rude and didn't care to give good customer service. You cannot order water unless it's bottled water and you have to pay $2 per bottle. All of their orders are final order, therefore if you order a spaghetti that is served completely mushy and overlooked then you are still expected to pay for the inedible food. We tried to get a refund for the mushy pasta and they ended up calling the police on us. While talking to the workers we watched someone ask for a fork and we witnessed the waitress take a dirty fork, run it under tap water, and hand it to the customer. Terrible food, terrible customer service, and terrible cleanliness. read more

We stopped by on our way off the island. Ordered a 14" pepperoni pie and a couple ($2?!) waters. They did not seem busy but for some reason it took 30+ minutes to receive our pizza. When it arrived, it was very undercooked, overflowing with sauce and light on the cheese. I now know why the menu says they charge extra for well done pizzas. I'd say the pizza was average at best. The staff was sparse and never checked on us again after we got our food. This was the worst experience I have had at a restaurant. The food was terrible, we had to return two of the meals and at first we were still charged for them. Do not get pasta at all, the pizza and cheese bread were ok. Then we had 8 of us and they charged us a gratuity automatically which was not right for the terrible service we received. My husband and I stopped by for lunch. The pizza tasted like it was frozen. We also ordered wings, they were battered and baked. I showed up with my mom on Labor Day weekend, around 7. We're fishing tomorrow so we figured we'd get food earlier than usual and get to bed around 8:30. That's enough time, you'd think. We sat down at 7 and it is now 8:30 and we are only now receiving our order. It's just the two of us and we ordered a gluten free pizza, a calzone, and two side salads. This came to around $44 and they still asked for a tip, even though our service was non existent! We sat down at a dirty table and the waitress said she'd come back to wipe it down, but never did. We waited 20 minutes for her to take our order and were given styrofoam cups for fountain drinks which only includes ONE free refill. There wasn't even ice in the machine, and my mother had to go to the bar to ask for our ice since the waitress never came back. On top of that, it was only when we told them the ice machine was empty that they decided to load ice back in. This sweaty man brought out two severely dirty tubs filled with ice and dumped it in the machine. The waitress never apologized for the wait. To add, my mother and I watched as a man we presumed was the owner was screaming at a waitress outside. This was shocking, not only because he made a scene, but because they were fighting for a while and he took one of the scarce waitresses to yell at her. To then finalize our time in the restaurant, my mother had to get up and walk to the waitress to ask about the wait. The waitress, appearing to have forgotten about us, told her to hold on and let her check. She then went to look and said that they're "slammed", and still didn't apologize for the wait. When, in actuality, there was about 6 people waiting for food. We then asked for ToGo boxes as it was taking too long, and after an hour and a half, we finally received our order. We carried our boxes to the hotel and opened them to find the boxes covered in grease, and my moms pizza was half burnt. To conclude, our experience at this pizzeria was a nightmare, with dirty tables and floors, non existent service, sloppy manners, and food that was NOT worth the wait. This was terrible.
