What happened? New staff, higher prices and sub par slices. Is this place under new management? Lighthouse no longer offers an authentic crust. Now it taste like it has additives and not the same texture and simplicity that it had for many years. RIP 7 dollar slice of heaven.

Kids meal pepperoni slice add banana peppers and fries as a side

I've had lighthouse before and it's always been pretty tasty. I ordered it to go last night and I was impressed that it was done before I arrived to pick it up. I ordered a kids meal with a pepperoni pizza add banana peppers with fries. The meal comes with a kids size drink, but they were out of almost everything including all sugar free options, so I didn't get one. I also ordered the Parmesan garlic fries and my husband got a build your own pizza slice. Props for the size of the pizza slices! He was shocked that it was only one piece. I loved that they had the kids meal option because I wanted a smaller size of pizza (it was still huge), and the meal was only $5.25, a great deal. The pizza got cold pretty quickly once we sat down to eat so we had to reheat it, but it was okay crust still. The fries were just okay, they got hard pretty quickly. The parm fries were tasty but we could've done without them honestly.

Half & Half Custom Pie 18" - supreme and Mac & cheese

Tried the supreme and mac and cheese. Supreme was delicious but Mac was not as unique as I expected. They also forgot my extra topping I paid extra to add. The slices are huge, I ordered delivery on DoorDash but they did not sell most slices by the slice which is disappointing. I did not need all this pizza and ended up having to waste majority of it as it was just much too big for a single person. Ranch was very good as well. Overall it was good but they need to start selling each pizza by the slice for delivery for me to return!

Delicious pizza! One of my coworkers told me it was her favorite pizza in Omaha and I can see why. I love the thin crust and that you can customize a slice. A slice is huge! I got the bbq chicken pizza. I had planned to take half home bc it was so big but ended up eating the whole thing. They have a drive through too which is very convenient.

One of my favorite pizza joints in Omaha! Slices are HUGE and the ingredients are well done. Love everything about this pizza - got it for take out so no comment on service or ambiance. Would recommend for a HUGE pizza to take home and share. Their special sauce is also super good! Price is a little spendy but worth it in my opinion!

We wanted to try a slice of pizza at Lighthouse. Pulled up and could see the drive through was busy, about 5 cars deep. We could see inside and could see people ordering and having a seat but waiting for their pizza. We saw people walk in and order and then walk out with their pizzas all while we still were in the drive thru line. Seems they don't care about taking drive thru orders, only ones in store. Sat in line with one car at the window, one car at the speaker who has not ordered yet. Going to see if the pizza is any good as we ordered online while we sat in the drive thru waiting. Drive thru sign could use updating as it looks weathered. New outside makeover would help. Obviously needs better management! I'll update if they deserve anything more than the one star.

    WHOLE PIZZA CREATE YOUR OWN

The customer service was excellent probably some of the best pizza I've had all year. Only issue is the slices are gigantic my dad and I were only able to eat a slice each. Very fun casual place to eat at with friends any time.

Love this spot for create your own pizza! Very chill environment (put your dishes in bins to clear your own table) which I like. Great service at the front desk, and very quick on making the food. Love it here! Best part is the fresh pineapple, I only wish they would have given me more when I asked for extra!

Terrible customer service and terrible pizza. Pizza was delivered without two drinks we ordered (which were somehow 10 dollars for two 20 oz bottles). When called to ask them to credit they refused to help and hung up on us. Pizza itself was folded over on itself in box. It was cold and under-cooked. The crust is almost so thin you can see through it and was "wet". Almost no flavor. If you're looking for undercooked bland pizza with thin wet crust then this is your place. Otherwise don't bother. If I could give it a negative rating I would.

You can always tell a great BBQ when you don't need sauce to season or moisten the meat. Pulled pork was excellent, the the corn bread had to be the best I have had anywhere. It tasted like they deepfried it quickly to add an extra crunchy outside and the flavor was on fire! Definitely a must if you visit Omaha

After a fun day at the zoo, we decided to finally try Smoking Jay's. On this day, we took advantage of a special that was enough to feed two. Three pork ribs, brisket, two sides, toast, and cornbread. First, like every barbecue place, I like to try the sauce first. Good BBQ doesn't need sauce but a good BBQ restaurant should have it. Strange thinking, I know. They have two sauces here. Spicy and regular. Both seemed overwhelmingly full of, I think, molasses. I didn't care for either but favored the spicy (which is hardly spicy). Strangely, the sauce tasted better when paired with the meat. Imagine that! You get two choices for brisket, fatty or lean. We chose lean and it was not great but better than okay. Well seasoned too. Notice the nice smoke ring in my picture! The ribs? They were 100% perfectly, delicious, and NOT fall off the bone (which should never be for legit BBQ - a good rib has a tug). Bravo for great ribs!! The side dish of BBQ beans was pretty good, better than most, but there was something in there that was not to my liking (best guess, bay leaf... yuck). The coleslaw was alright. There was also a nice small side of spicy pickles and onions too. Overall, we will come back when convenient and get those ribs again! Okra is another side dish that we will try next time. Super friendly people here!

We ordered the Carolina Pork (topped this coleslaw) sandwich and the brisket sandwich. I think it's important to note that we are in KC style territory, so a North Carolina native might not give the pork five stars but I think a Midwesterner would appreciate it. The brisket was tender and flavorful. The sides were mighty! The potato salad was ranked a "must order" and described as "church picnic" quality, due to the high ratio of eggs and mustard. We tried the fried cabbage with bacon; if you enjoy greens I felt like this was a cabbage variant and quite tasty. We have vowed to return to try the sandwich that comes topped with hot links!! I also want to try the ribs, the smokers outside looked rib-ready. Combos consist of a sandwich, side and can of pop and if you order to go things are wrapped up in a fashion that's guaranteed to not tip over. I think you should go visit, and help us sample our way around the menu.
