    Normally I wouldn't even bother leaving a review for a car dealership, but when I was considering buying this truck 1800 miles from where I live I did find comfort in seeing they had almost a perfect 5 star rating! So moving forward with the truck I got in touch with one of the sales people and was told the truck was available but currently being driven by one of the employees working there. Was put in touch with him and he FaceTimed with me. The truck was in great shape and made the deposit to hold it. Moving forward with financing and getting paperwork documented, signed, notarized,etc.... It was about a two week process. Very poor communication after they received the check from my bank and then it took a while to get it shipped here( not their fault). I asked for it to be serviced before it was sent to me because they advertised it with 49k and it now was at 51k which affects the value on Kelly blue book. Under 50k in miles makes a difference in what it books out at. Anyway I received the vehicle with a dead battery after only three days of being on a trailer and it was not serviced. I'm sure the employee enjoyed putting about 3000 miles on for nothing but cost of fuel. Oh yeah the DEF was only at a quarter tank. So now Im going to get it serviced because it has almost 52k and have the truck's batteries checked and throughly gone through. Still haven't heard back from the salesman after I left a message for him and texted him. Basically they are your typical dealership with a catchy slogan of how honest and religious they are. They're there to make money, duh... So I guess my issues were a vehicle with higher miles than advertised, truck not being completely serviced before receiving, and most annoying of all is the horrible intermittent communication!! I never felt like a priority during this whole process. You would think spending 70k plus on a vehicle would get you some VIP treatment but I also felt like they think I was ripping them off and it was a privilege to even be doing business with them. Not impressed with Lighthouse at all.

    Holly and Maggie were great to work with. I appreciated their knowledge and honesty. I also appreciated their timeliness during the usually stressful and time consuming process of purchasing a car. It was a very smooth transaction. Definitely recommend. 10 out of 10. Thank you ladies!

    I had the hands-down, best vehicle buying experience at Lighthouse Buick GMC. I had been looking for a new/used truck for over two years (across the country!?!) due to escalating truck prices/shortages. I finally found the vehicle I wanted, at the price I was comfortable with, at Lighthouse. I live in Maryland and submitted an online request for more information on a used truck I saw advertised on their website. Keith Edelman from their sales department called me and answered all my questions about it. We reviewed pricing and I asked for a quote to be emailed to me. I received the quote shortly thereafter, exactly as we discussed. I placed a down payment on the truck to hold it while I arranged final steps in financing and a pick up date. A family medical issue prevented me from picking the vehicle up immediately. When I arrived on their lot several days later, my truck was waiting -- cleaned and fueled. When I went into the showroom to sign papers and complete the transaction, I was amazed at the atmosphere!?! There was Christian music playing in the background, free Bibles and Christian CDs on a tabletop and well stocked drink and snack area! Everyone was calm and relaxed. Keith Edelman met me and showed me all the ins and outs of the truck and assisted me in getting my phone connected to the truck for sharing apps and making calls. We then went in to review purchasing details and everything matched exactly as described! Bart Rinkenberger (a general manager) happened into the office and introduced himself. We chatted for a few minutes. I commented on how impressed I was with the whole deal process, with Keith and especially with the showroom and Christian values on display! He humbly accepted my review. He noted he heard about my family medical issue and asked how the family member was faring. When I replied that progress was slow, he asked if it was okay if we prayed together for them. Being a Christian myself, I readily accepted his offer and he led us in a heartfelt prayer. I was amazed and thanked him! Keith then handed me over to Brett Miller, a business manager, to sign all the documents. Brett explained each document and I happily chose to electronically sign them with copies being sent to my email address, which I can easily store for safekeeping. Brett also reviewed various additional protection packages for which there was no heavy pressure or fear-invoking stories to purchase. Keith installed a temporary tag and handed me the keys to my new ride. After getting into the vehicle and driving away, I noticed a small issue with the windshield. When I went back to report it to Keith, he immediately called their service/collision department and Eric Johnston got me squared away quickly - for which I am grateful, since I live in Maryland. The whole process from clicking on the "Ask a question" on the web page, to working the deal, to signing the papers, to picking up the truck -- everything was incredibly smooth and customer focused with no hidden surprises. My only regret is that I don't live closer to receive future scheduled service! I would not hesitate to buy another vehicle from Lighthouse Buick/GMC and I will be looking them up for future vehicle needs -- even from out of state! My hat is off to their whole team!

    There are few things people dislike more than buying a car. I recently purchased a used car from Dane Zeller at Lighthouse Buick/GMC for my daughter and the experience was so unlike any other I feel compelled to share it. This is not your father's corporate auto dealership. 1. While this is not a no haggle dealership, the negotiation process was very straightforward, no games, no high pressure tactics; and we settled on a price in about five minutes. 2. Rule number one in buying a used car is have it inspected by an independent mechanic. I live an hour away from the dealership, but they had no problem letting me take the car to my home town mechanic. Then, as per our agreement, they handled the items identified by my mechanic without a hassle. 3. The entire staff is obviously well trained on taking care of the customer. 4. It is apparent the ownership values their staff because, the entire place is spotless (even the service department) and everyone seems thrilled to be working there. It's the type of leadership that generates mutual loyalty between the owner, the staff and the customer because the way they operate everyone wins. 5. After the sale, we received a set of insulated coffee tumblers, a delicious cinnamon bread mailed to our home and finally a high-quality calendar with a photo of my daughter posing with her "new" car plus a couple of letters reminding us to let them know if anything needs attention. This strategy of customer engagement is not cheap, but it is very effective in making a lasting positive impression. 6. While I was waiting at the dealership for the service department to do its work I made a point of watching as other customers were going through the car buying process. Based on what I saw my experience was not unique. Everyone was getting the same level and style of service I received. 7. The service department was quick, efficient and with the sales manager present they showed me exactly what they did on the car. 8. It's doing the little things, the fundamentals, right that counts. This dealership not only does the fundamentals right, they excel. Collectively, these observations make it clear this dealership believes investing in its employees and its customers is the way to sustainable profitability.     Lighthouse GMC is the most HONEST dealership you will ever do business with. I have purchased 2 cars from this dealership, and they were fair, honest, and trustworthy in both deals. Brian M. is my friend and salesman, and truly CARES about his customers and will be honest with you from the start. Their service department is just as honest, as they give you good deals and do professional work! Anyone looking for a new or used car/truck should give Lighthouse a call!

What shocked me most is that after I provided honest, detailed feedback about my experiences, the dealership informed me I was no longer welcome to service my vehicle there. They even canceled an existing service appointment that included parts I had already been waiting weeks for. On the surface, the facility is impressive: the sales area is modern and comfortable, there are small private rooms where you can take a call, and a kids' play area if you're waiting. However, the religious overtones throughout the dealership -- including free Bibles placed in the waiting area -- felt inappropriate and out of place for a business setting. I fully respect anyone's right to practice their faith, but I do not appreciate having it pushed at me while I wait for car service. The service department itself has been consistently disappointing. My service advisor was dismissive of the concerns I raised about my $70,000 electric Jeep. It was clear the team lacked knowledge and interest in understanding EVs; feedback I provided was poorly relayed to technicians, and the responses I received were inaccurate, passive-aggressive, and condescending. My vehicle was even returned to me dirtier than I dropped it off because they insisted on running it through their car wash, leaving water spots everywhere. Appointments typically take weeks to secure, not because they're highly sought after, but because staffing is thin -- a situation the dealership seems unwilling to solve by paying a fair wage. To be fair, the parts department was a bright spot: the individual I spoke with was knowledgeable, helpful, and took the time to explain everything thoroughly. But overall, the dealership's lack of professionalism, unwillingness to support EV owners, refusal to provide loaner vehicles, and complete disregard for customer service left me with zero trust in them. My experience here has been so negative that it's soured me not only on this dealership, but on Jeep and Stellantis as a whole.
