It's fun to just walk around and look for interesting old books. I found a jazz standard song book for two dollars. There are beautiful art and craft made from old books. They also sell vinal, DVD, music CD. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The parking lot is full on Saturdays because so many people spend their afternoon here, relaxing with a book. Aside from the text books, they usually have a small, but choice, selection of used novels and non-fiction books on hand. These are very cheap compared to cover price, and if you go at the right time you can find some really interesting things for a steal. They also carry used music CDs, stationary, and other odds and ends for college students. Overall, a great place that is much more rewarding to support with my hard earned loan money than the bigger, more coporate alternatives.

Staff is very friendly and let us know that they curate their books from donations. If you donate your books to them, they create an account where you can have a credit on file to use. As someone, that occasionally does donate books, this is fantastic news! Additionally, all of their books unless otherwise stated are half off the cover value which is incredible and affordable! I already have more credit than I'll probably ever use, but I'm happy that my previously read books are going to a good home. The store has a pretty decent used book selection with floor-to-ceiling shelving (and also some graphic novels, CDs, and DVDs). It's always hit-or-miss, so each time I go; I never know what I'll find. There's also a little sitting area with coffee or hot cocoa, if you so desire. How much are the used books? They're half off the cover price. How does the credit work? You get an additional half off the half-off price. So if a book has a cover price of $8, the store sells the book for $4. I can use my credit balance for an additional $2 off (half of the $4), leaving the book at a total of $2. There are also some $1 books on a rack outside the store. Everyone working there is always super friendly and helpful.
