    Vintage children's books!
    Alyssa M.

This is probably my favorite used bookstore that I've ever been to! They have a HUGE selection of books, movies, CDs, records, magazines, games, and more. The way the store is set up is well-organized and easy to navigate, which keeps it from being overwhelming with so many options. The prices are amazing, with most books being between $1-3 except for the special and vintage ones. The selection of DVDs is vast as well and those are for a super low price too! They have a big children's section in the back too, and even have some free supplies for teachers. The service is also great, the cashier was very friendly and checkout process is quick. I highly recommend this bookstore!!

Very large and diverse book store with pretty much every genre and type of books you could ever want there. The store is well organized and there are a lot of displays that give character. Looks like they have live music there as well, which is pretty neat. I had to drag my wife out after 2 hours with a box of books for only about $30.

SOOO many books for SUCH good prices- I left with a huge stack of books and a few DVDs for $30ish. The employees were very nice and friendly. They have everything- books,DVDs, audiobooks, vinyls, art, couches, feee supplies for teachers. Highly recommend for any and all bibliophiles

Everything you want in a used book store, and more! Books, magazines, CDs, sheet music, board games, puzzles, posters, and book scraps for crafts. I had so much fun shopping here, and there are plenty of comfy places to peruse books or play board games. The shelves are only organized by category, so if you're looking for something specific you won't be able to search by author or title. There's definitely a mildewy smell that left me sneezing even after I left, so pop your allergy pill before you go and then enjoy browsing for a while! Great place to find unique gifts for everyone with crafty interests!

It's always a pleasure visiting The Book Rescuers! They have a wonderful selection of books and other media, along with unique artwork from local artists that really adds to the shop's charm. Their prices are very reasonable, and the staff is consistently kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable. I always enjoy stopping in. If you're not quite sure what you're looking for, I highly recommend checking out their "Blind Date with a Book" section. It's such a fun way to discover something new!

Really cool bookshop with used books! Loved visiting here. Plenty of parking on the side of the store. I wander in here for an hour looking for looks to buy.

First time checking out the Book Rescuers and it was very impressive!!! They have a huge inventory of books...over 1 mile long of shelving from paperbacks to hard cover books at very affordable prices!!! There are multiple sections in the store from a nice seating area, to an area full of vinyl records, cassette tapes in the front area. There are movies and more in the VHS and DVD format as well!! Everything is organized nicely throughout the store and they have tons of subjects covered!! Definitely recommend checking this place out for reasonable pricing on everything!!! Great resources for teachers too!!!

I've been to The Book Rescuers a handful of times now, and it's quickly become one of my favorite spots. Their new location has tons of space, making it easy to browse and get lost in all the shelves. The selection changes often, and the prices are so affordable that I never walk out empty-handed. Every visit feels like a little treasure hunt, you never know what gem you'll find. Definitely a go-to bookstore for anyone who loves used books and supporting a place that's keeping stories alive. They also have local handmade goods available a lot of the time too, and a small selection of rare books. I've noticed they also usually have something set up for local teachers, too!

I already want to go back! I have a one year old and wanted to come here for some kids books. I bought 11 for $12 and I can't wait to return to buy him more books. The workers were nice and helpful. Chairs in the front are nice for family members waiting, if you want to look at a book, etc. I highly recommend shopping here.

Amazing concept. I love to read so this is a great place to find low priced books that have some history to them. The book selection is very large. They have record, DVD's, magazine, and a bunch of other great things to purchase.

They also have a section for local Floridian authors, along with guides to the state of Florida and different cities, which is super relevant for visitors to the shop. Along with books, they have other knick-knacks, some book-themed and some just for fun. There are socks, shirts, book-themed book bags, puzzles and more. I would say the prices aren't the best but they aren't quite as bad as going to a Barnes & Noble or Books-a-million type book shop. And i'd much rather support a small business paying a price like that than the big chains. They do also have a used book section that has cheaper books so that can be another nice option. Truly, there's something for everyone in here if you look close enough. Even some special edition books they keep behind the register as they as rare & a very valuable.

I do not know about purchasing from this bookstore, but don't bother trying to sell them anything…read more So far three times I've sent them emails with photos of new author hardcover books, and some out of date old books Besides, taking forever to get a response, they do not purchase anything So don't bother contacting them if you have books to sell In response to the owner. I said specifically, I did not know anything about purchasing from him or his bookstore What I did say is, if you're trying to sell, this is not the place to go Did not mean to be offensive, but it seems that they do not purchase anything whatsoever from anyone. And this is definitely lacking in this area. Everything I read about his bookstore as far as inventory , service, and hospitality is above grade. All I said is do not try to sell anything

Strolling into this bookstore and I knew I found a hidden gem for fellow book lovers like myself…read more From the moment I walked in, I felt at home. The owner was incredibly friendly and genuinely knowledgably about the book world. She took time to educate me and other fellow guests about the history of the store, which you can learn more from the newspaper clippings in the back of the store. She also talked to me about the Little Free Libraries, how they work, how to find all the registered ones online, and even encouraged me by saying I could host one myself. That conversation along made the visit feel special as you can see how passionate she is. The store has a wide selection of books, thoughtfully organized, with something for every kind of reader. My absolute favorite part was the cozy corner of vintage books - such a charming collection, each one priced fairly and appropriately for its condition and uniqueness. It felt like stepping into a little time capsule. Beyond books, they also carry comics and games, which adds to the fun and makes this place great for browsing, whether you're a serious collector or just popping in to explore. If you love books, community, and supporting small businesses with heart, this place is definitely worth a visit.

I was impressed by the wide selection of books in good condition, all of which were available at affordable prices. The staff member working that day was knowledgeable about the books, knew exactly where everything was located, and was eager to provide recommendations and help find specific titles.
