Barnes and Noble experiences should be pretty straight forward anywhere you go, being a chain retailer. However I can honestly say that every time I've gone in to this location, it's been fantastic. Always staff available to help out, clean and never crowded. The staff at the cafe has also been great. Today we got Matty and he made a recommendation on some drinks which were both spectacular (and pretty I might add!) I've never ran into any issues with books being out of stock so I give them a 10/10 for always having what I need. Especially during the holidays! My only knock is price of the franchise merchandise (Harry Potter, stranger things etc). Prices are pretty high for what they are ($35 for a journal) but understood because that stuff is popular. Overall, besides going to a mom/pop book store, this Barnes and noble is pretty solid and a place I can count on.

This location has been a mainstay of the Sunset Point Shopping Center at the southwest corner of Sunset Point and US 19 N in Clearwater. My sense of nostalgia is definitely turned up to HIGH when I walk in. In a time when most printed word is accessible over the internet, I find it comforting to paw over the volumes of books at Barnes & Noble. Surprisingly, they have a very interesting section of toys and crafts. It's great to see their wall of magazines and periodicals. They still have a large section for music CDs in the back. Overall, the shelves were tidy and the store was as clean as a whistle. There's a Starbucks inside this store and that seems to be hub of activity. If you haven't been by the store in a while, you should. I hope that Barnes & Noble can withstand the current move toward online literary content. The place still smell great inside!

This is only for the Cafe... Went in to get a Chai tea, my newest addiction. The husband was over at Tiger direct, so I popped in to get something cool and refreshing. The gentleman before me had a bit of a complicated (read large) food order, so I patiently waited my turn. When it came time, I stepped up, placed my order for my large iced chai, skin, no water, light ice. The barista made NO eye contact, didn't smile and basically looked as if she were being put upon. I get it. It's hard to make a drink that you pour out of two containers and don't even have to heat up. But a little friendliness goes a long way. *shrug* I've been a barista. I know the order could have been a lot worse. I could have ordered a double tall half calf mochalatte over ice, with double cream. But it was relatively simple. When dealing with the world, suck it up and smile.

I cannot come in here without spending less than $100 each time, because I am a self proclaimed book hoarder. LOL. I'm knocking a star off because I feel like when I whip out my current list of books I'm looking for, I struggle to find a good amount of them in stock here. Even some of the more popular titles are sometimes just not available, and I could order them online, but I really love leaving a store with a massive collection of new books same day :) this is still a great place to shop. Very clean, tidy and the staff is pretty nice as well.

Dianna B., I thought of you! Lol

Barnes and Noble is one of The last bookstores in the area. If you can't find what you're looking for The helpful associates will take care of ya! I mostly use my Kindle In this day and age. But sometimes I miss The feeling of turning a page. But I don't like to go to the library, Those books are gross and dirty But I'll spend hours in a bookstore Getting all sorts of nerdy! They've got magazines and journals. And hundreds of books of all kinds. Cooking, romance, self help, Adults coloring books to relax your mind! This location also houses a Starbucks So you can grab a coffee while you read. But more actual, physical bookstores Is what this world really needs!

You mean Yelp Elite, right? ;)

I love this B & N location. Seriously. It has a big, open floor plan (perfect for getting lost in) and plenty of store associates to help you find your next reading fix. They boast a generous discounted section which has a lot of quality titles for less than you'd expect. This is my favorite part of the store, and sometimes my husband has to drag me out of there or I won't leave. After you've purchased your literary treat, head over to the B & N Cafe. They have plenty of seating and the baristas are very friendly. They also serve Starbucks coffee, but they don't take Starbucks cards, so have your card or cash on hand. That being said, they make some quality drinks. It's worth not getting your Starbucks star, I promise. I know that chain stores are similar, but for me it's the vibe that makes them stand out. I feel really at home at this Barnes & Noble, and I'm happy to say it's my go-to for books and a cup of joe.

    Delicious sandwiches and paninis!

Great place, great location. The cafe has a lot of regulars who come to read or study so its like a little community where you see the same faces a lot, which is fun. Only negative comment I have is that the cafe only has one electrical outlet, literally one, not even two on one unit. So the regular bring power packs and extension cords to accommodate everyone using laptops and I've seen the management seriously come and pretty much kick people out for using it. One gentleman said he's written to corporate and sent photos but nothing was done. Its a little frustrating. Other than that the book selection is great, the coffee is great, nice selection of baked goods and paninis, friendly staff.

One of the last remaining book stores. I had a gift certificate and was nearby. Found a great book I wouldn't have gotten if i didn't go in.

They also have a section for local Floridian authors, along with guides to the state of Florida and different cities, which is super relevant for visitors to the shop. Along with books, they have other knick-knacks, some book-themed and some just for fun. There are socks, shirts, book-themed book bags, puzzles and more. I would say the prices aren't the best but they aren't quite as bad as going to a Barnes & Noble or Books-a-million type book shop. And i'd much rather support a small business paying a price like that than the big chains. They do also have a used book section that has cheaper books so that can be another nice option. Truly, there's something for everyone in here if you look close enough. Even some special edition books they keep behind the register as they as rare & a very valuable.

I said specifically, I did not know anything about purchasing from him or his bookstore What I did say is, if you're trying to sell, this is not the place to go Did not mean to be offensive, but it seems that they do not purchase anything whatsoever from anyone. And this is definitely lacking in this area. Everything I read about his bookstore as far as inventory , service, and hospitality is above grade. All I said is do not try to sell anything

The building is beautiful; you pass thru an unusual (in a good way) bookstore, candle pour bar,…read morecoffee bar, tea bar, a gift shop with very unique items, & then into the restaurant. Paintings adorn the walls inside, but you can also dine in the "outside patio" with a glass ceiling overhead & lots of plants around. Our server, Cami, was pleasant & gave us time to peruse the menu. The option of breakfast served all day was a surprise. We decided to try three appetizers: the whipped feta, buttermilk fried chicken & fried Brussel sprouts. A glass of sangria & iced tea for beverages. Everything was delicious & exceeded our expectations. Cami checked on us regularly asking if we'd like to order anything else. Would definitely put the Oxford Exchange at the top of our restaurant list when going across the bridge to Tampa. Already thinking about the French toast for the next visit.

I made a reservation and glad I did because the walk up list had a bit of a wait. There is street parking as well as paid parking in the lot across the street. When you first walk in you get the bookstore area. They do a bunch of events here as well. The candle making area is also a bar and is directing across from the bookstore. It's worth it check out the bathrooms. It's quite large and very nice in there. Next, is the open and airy space where the coffee and tea shop is. This area is a walk up counter and you don't need a reservation to stop in. The day I went it was quite full. I will add there is an upstairs to this location with a relatively new recording studio and coworking space. Next, is the store where there's a bunch that of hidden gems. The champagne bar is over here as well. My group went for brunch the day we went. I got the avocado toast and the brussel sprouts. As a fan of both, it didn't disappoint. And both were huge and fresh. The table split the ricotta and honey cheese and naan bread. The lemon blueberry pancakes were also a hit. I'm not a big fan on of cake in general but I heard the yellow cake was great. It was the perfect mixture of light and dense and the chocolate icing was to die for. It was the perfect compliment to the cake. There's so much to do here you could easily spend a good couple hours here. It's also a great spot to stop on your way to other fun activities in the area. I highly recommend getting reservations! I can't wait to go back and try some new stuff!
