I don't usually write reviews, but I wanted to share my experience. I'm pretty picky about where I rent, and after owning a home, I was worried I wouldn't find a place that still felt like home without all the big homeowner costs. Light Haven District really does that for me.
The townhomes have plenty of interior and exterior space. I feel they were designed for people like me. Each home is situated to separate you from your neighbor's home. My favorite part is the patio. I love having a cement area for my patio furniture and a turf spot for morning yoga with a reasonably high fence for privacy. It's perfect.
Moving in was easy because the staff was so helpful and made the process seamless. I changed my mind about which unit I wanted at least 10 times (no judgment here), but the leasing team was always patient and accommodating. I cared a lot about the location and which way my home faced to save energy. The office staff, especially Kailee, the manager, helped me with all of that. Kailee even called CenterPoint for me when my electric provider had trouble setting up my electricity, on top of answering many questions about the lease agreement.
I've lived here for almost three months, and the customer service has been exceptional. Consistency matters, and I've experienced that from the staff. I've had only two small issues: a garbage disposal and a small gap in the front door, but Kailee took care of both right away. She even called afterward to make sure everything was fixed.
I noticed a few small spiders in the garage at first, but that is expected with any new build and living in the South during summertime. As a resident who does not like seeing them in my home, I spray Home Defense insect spray at entry points to prevent bugs from getting in. Trust me, it works, and I have had no issues since.
If you want a place that feels like home and a management team that truly cares, I definitely recommend Light Haven District!! read more
