get down to it, experience at this venue is inconvenient, tickets cost depending on where you need…read moreto be, parking isn't cheap much less free, food/alcohol are best done if it matters before / after or at a picnic table outside the gate, the road up (and, therefore, down) is tedious though not imho particularly dangerous unless you're under the influence, and management of the crowd and traffic especially after dark lacks organization. but having listened to a lot of music at places like msg, red rocks, the greek in LA, avalon, fillmores, cbgb... an evening of powerful music here is better but it isn't for an average saturday night's entertainment, save it for something special... it's worth twice the price for the right seats. in my case, as a maturing moshpit headbanger from decades ago, this required seats maybe 15 feet from the right side of the stage. i nailed these three months ahead for a total price of about $500 for two, premium parking included. worth it. this was the second time i saw the jblze show, the first being last year's in napa. the mountain winery was much superior owing to both the medieval setting and the power of the sound system which was enough to blow your head away. i had thoughtfully brought along a set of earplugs for my associate's tender ears, but passed on the offer of free ones at the entry gate. my hearing not to mention other functions has survived massive assaults of self-destruction in the past so ear protection seems a bit late to me. i was here to encourage ear damage, with every screech, boom, thud of music from the hammer of the gods this group is the best of all ersatz led zep groups, and more than a "tribute band" owing to Jimmy Sakurai, a japanese guy who spent 30 years perfecting the live performance of guitarist jimmy page. "mr jimmy" while much too civilized to be page incarnate is for sure the absolute best at what he does. the experience is essential if you have any interest in knowing why the original band is still considered the progenitor, the ne plus ultra as it were, of modern heavy metal/blues rock. i won't go on lest i descend into mindless fandom. let's leave it the same as my previous review, if you failed to see the original led zeppelin in msg or wherever, back when it mattered, and you're curious, book tickets next time - one hopes they'll do it here again.

No one came to tell us what was happening so folks got out of their cars to investigate - and they spread the news like Paul Revere lol Also, take all the crazy surcharge and parking money you make and install guardrails, Mountain Winery! Staff told us this type of stuff has happened before. Our first time scarred us - not sure there will be a return visit.

Fast forward to our first lesson, after showing our first song to Ken and giving him the vision of what we wanted, Ken started brainstorming with a bunch of great ideas. Every lesson we were piecing the choreography and Ken was able to give us some key point to make it look better. My wife and I were looking forward to every single lesson with Ken, he was always eager to greet us, always had the next part of our choreography put together and made it super pleasant to learn. We could always reach out to him regardless the time of the day, and we were so thrilled with the results of planning my wife and I first dance that my wife and I also scheduled a lesson with our dad/ mom for the mother/son and father/ daughter dance and Ken was able to put something together in that one lesson. Overall my wife and I are truly grateful that he was able to work with us and we were absolutely thrilled with the results on our wedding day. Super grateful about everything and definitely recommend Ken to any/everyone.

I don't have much to add on that statement besides they never hit. We have come on nights where the service is poor, hard to get a bartender's attention even with no line and the drinks are gross. Some nights, the service is excellent and drinks are incredible! It just depends on who is bartending that night. The cocktail presentation is always very nice. This past Saturday we stopped by to hear the live music (which was really good / oldies rock and roll vibes) and there was no line at the bar! We got a wonderful bartender who made his own rendition of an Aviation for me as they do not have crème de violette. It was very good! Thanks Rudy! (I think it was Rudy?) Very much appreciated the work around and making something up special. My husband got the draft Paloma and it was not good. As I said just don't get the draft cocktails. Overall, would recommend the Cedar Room for great vibes, mostly friendly staff and mostly excellent cocktails (again, just don't get the draft)! We will be back!!

I've been coming here for a couple years now as I live in the area and my recent visits these last couple weeks have left me kind of shocked by the quality of the service, and drinks... it seems like they hire anyone. My husband and I had a baby free night out to celebrate my birthday and haberdasher did not disappoint. We went soon after opening so there was no line but I know they tend to have one later in the evening. We were greeted warmly at the door by the attendant who checked our ids. I was even wished a happy early birthday. When going into the bar, you walk down a staircase into a space that makes you forget you're in downtown San Jose with beautiful reds and burgundy decor. The staff is all smartly dressed; the bartender and bar back were both sweet and funny. I ordered a jack rose (my all time favorite), their seasonal watermelon waltz (this may be a new favorite for me, nice and refreshing) and one of their zero proof cocktails called a Mariposa which was soooo good as well. My husband ordered a couple old fashioned and a watermelon waltz for himself. We had an amazing time and look forward to coming back in the future.

And they don't allow outside food in even if the food was leftover in Togo bags from dinner. The place was busy when we finally went inside. But the bartenders were fast and we got two rounds of drinks as far as we could order. The dim lighting did look reddish. The large tables were reserved but there plenty of smaller high tops around. Memorable drinks were the perfect pear and the Andean Ascent. Perfect pear was not fruity at all and had a nice aroma and spice to it. The Andean ascent was a nice drink to start with, refreshing with a bit of fizz.

The cocktail menu is inspired by records, and you can feel the creativity in every sip. These aren't your standard bar pours -- they're clearly thought out and crafted with personality. If you're someone who appreciates a drink with a story behind it, you'll be in your element here. The live DJ on weekends takes the whole experience to another level. The music isn't background noise -- it's part of the atmosphere, and it hits right. What makes this place truly special is that you're getting two completely different vibes under one roof. Walk into Still OG up front and you get a casual, laid-back energy -- easy conversation, good company, no pretension. Then slip into the speakeasy in the back and the whole mood shifts. Alter Ego is a proper intimate lounge with their full bar, and it feels like a world away from the street outside. The transition between the two spaces is surprisingly seamless and genuinely fun to experience. And they're open late, which puts them in a rare category of places actually worth staying out for. Whether you're there for a chill night out or a proper evening, this place delivers both without making you choose.

Can still remember the gourmet dogs and duck fat fries back in the days... Awesome what they did to the place. The new set up with the dim lights and neon menu is noice. Ended up chilling at the front bar. Definitely will return to explore the back at a later time. Food: A We got to sample a variety of goodies and drinks from the menu, which definitely hit the spot. The skewers were cooked just right with a kiss of smoke from the grill. The takoyaki were good as expected--yum. We ended the excursion with the milk bread; it was surely a crowd-pleaser. It was fluffy goodness, topped with furikake, and served with a side of decadent house butter. Drinks were perfectly crafted and refreshing. Service: A We were chilling at the bar and got to hang with staff. Cool folks, will be back. - John
