My family and I came here for the first time this past Friday for the Andy Grammar concert. I've grown up in the Bay Area and I honestly had no idea this venue existed until a few years ago. This venue is located off Highway 9 and the scenery is stunning. Especially on a cool summer evening. We purchased Box seats for the event and it came with a VIP parking pass. VIP parking is $50 which is steep. This came in handy post-concert and made for an easy exit out of the venue. Special shoutout to Phuong Nguyen who was directing traffic that day. He was extremely personable and offered to take a group photo for us. He whipped out a microfiber cloth out of nowhere to ensure a picture perfect memory. We had access to Club Masson which we were told includes free food and drink. It ended up just being light appetizers and a cash bar. I grabbed a bag of Ms. Vickie chips to snack on and didn't realize that they were expired until I was done with the bag. SMH. For as much as we paid for the Box seats, they should've at the very least ensured that none of the food served was expired. Concessions are pricey here. Club Masson was underwhelming so we ended up going back to the ground level to purchase food and drinks. The two ladies that worked behind the concessions stand could not have been more unpleasant. Minus 1 star for their terrible attitudes. None of them wear name tags otherwise I would have singled them both out. Throughout the evening, we ordered the following: - Mountain Winery Pinot Noir ($23) - 3/5 stars - Double Moscow Mule ($36) - 4/5 stars - Double Margarita ($36) - 4/5 stars - 3 event special cocktails - Honey, I'm Good ($18.50 each). We were not aware that these were batch made, served from a water dispenser... - 3.5/5 stars - 3 Local Motion Strawberry Seltzers ($14 each) - 4/5 stars - 4 bottles of Saratoga Water ($9 each) - 1 Fries ($12) - 5/5 stars - 1 Mozzarella Sticks ($14) - 1/5 stars. Nonexistent cheese pull.

Attended an event here on behalf of my school and it was absolutely incredible. From picturesque views to beautiful structures and an amazing amphitheater --this place took my words away. Not only are you dropped into the most magical spot, but there's also wine and music....doesn't get much better than that. Staff is incredibly kind and clearly love where they work...I mean how could you not. Overall, 10/10 must go back to this spot.

Common Kings were off the chart great! As were thei opening band High Watah! Service is phenomenal here! You won't find a better venue! Views, grape vines, beautiful buildings, trees & more! Drinks are good too!

Look at the service price vs ticket price. It's almost a 35% charge ridiculous

Don't Charge 35% service charge on tickets. Stop charging $35 car for your ridiculous fucked up parking lot

Our company's sales kick off event was held here and it was beautiful! The drive up was a bit daunting and the talk of the night but overall I had a wonderful time. I would love to come back for a concert. Staff were friendly and showed us to the venue. Food was also great and very tasty. I really enjoyed the spicy pasta, baked cauliflower, short rib.

Had the chance to attend 2 concerts here about a week apart this month, and they did not disappoint! The last time I was here was 2017 so it had been a minute! If you're not prepared ahead of time, the first thing that might surprise you is that parking is $25 when you arrive. Thankfully I'd pre-purchased online and my hubby and I arrived early so parking was easy. Once we went through security and the entrance, where you're already delightfully smacked in the face with gorgeous views of the winery, the valley and the super cool music venue, we were also greeted left and right by the friendliest, nicest employees and staff ever! Everyone seemed so happy to be working there, it truly was a breath of fresh air! We even had some fun conversations with a couple of the seat ushers too! A big thank you to everyone that was working the One Republic and Common Kings shows (10/3/24 & 10/12/24)! We heard/read that food and drinks here are extra pricey, and if you take a peek at the drink menu photo I added to this review, that'll give you an idea of just how pricey things really are. No outside food is allowed in of course. Glad to see that there were a few vegan options onsite, but we ate before arriving so we didn't try any of their f&b. Leaving a show here can be very tricky since there's just 1 narrow & very windy road in & out of this place, so either leave a little early or practice immense patience lol! Overall, we had an awesome time at both shows and would definitely recommend Mountain Winery for concerts! Great acoustics too and just a really cool, intimate live music experience! Just be prepared to potentially fork over a lot of $$ on top of what you paid for the concert ticket themselves...

Best Concert Venue!!! This review is solely about the concert venue at Mountain Winery. I have not tried their wine so cannot speak on that. I have been to several concerts here and it doesn't get old. It's magical coming here in the evenings when the sun is setting and the music starts playing. My only issue with this place is the parking and concert drink prices are very expensive. Parking is simple and easy, checking in is a breeze, and everywhere you look there are beautiful views of the Bay Area. Everyone who works there is helpful during concert nights. If you haven't been to a concert here you MUST go to one and experience how amazing it is.

Came here for a concert and thought the venue is nice. The stars are just for the performers I've watched and the view you get while up there. Pricing for food, drinks, and parking have become astronomically high. Definitely can deter people from coming.

We went to watch Russell Peters here before, but never seen a concert. Air Supply was coming to town so we hop on it right away! The place was packed, but with premium tickets was able to park near the entrance. You can eat or drink here before the event begins. The building architecture and lights delivered a romantic vibe. Air Supply put on an amazing concert. The sound quality and the outdoor scenic view made a great atmosphere. The security or staff members did a great job helping locating our seats and providing directions to exit the parking lot.

It's a beautiful place with great views. We went for Trevor Noah's show. The ride is a windy narrow road up the hill. Last time it took us 30 mins with traffic inching forward as everyone came in just at the show time. So we went early this time. And also to eat something before the show. We had to buy separate parking tickets. The staff is very friendly. And we learnt you cannot take big bags unless it is clear. The food and drink service was quick. Nothing gourmet, slightly expensive. The seating has good views to the stage even though we were way back. However it was cold . Do carry warm clothing , gloves, caps and socks as it can get quite windy after 8PM. Last time we had a better experience as the weather was warmer. A nice place to enjoy your favorite artiste.

    Awaiting another great concert...

I have so many amazing memories here, and what ambience! It will always be a favorite place to see a concert. The venue and views are gorgeous, and it is so great to see my favorite artists up close. Many venues feel so clautrophobic, crowded, and so forth, but I have been to approx. 20 concerts/shows at Mountain Winery, and it is has always been a good experience. The wine is ONLY Mountain Winery, and the drinks are expensive! Also, the ride up and down the mountain on a windy dark road can be a little scary, but it is a short drive to downtown Saratoga, CA.

This mountainside Saratoga venue got me absolutely speechless! The Mountain Winery is having a summer concert series until the end of October. Lineup can be found on their website. Came here on a Tuesday night (7/23) to see Ben Platt. General parking was $25 cash or card. Upon entering the venue, you'll see a harvest of grapes with a beautiful aerial view of the city. Security check and will call lines weren't too long of a wait. Since my boyfriend and I came here immediately after work, we shared a Margherita pizza which was perfect for two. The pizza was fresh, cheesy, and had a perfect chewy crust. Their speciality cocktail, estate Chardonnay, and estate Pinot noir were all really good drinks to sip on during the show. Ben Platt was amazing!! The show was entertaining and lively from start to finish. Customer service was top-notch and the workers were all super friendly. The drive up wasn't too difficult as well. Definitely coming back here for another music event or for a weekend wine tasting experience.

Incredible venue! My wife and I have seen many live shows all over Northern California over the past 30+ years. This place is by FAR the best setting and experience we've had. We had a 2.5 hour drive each way and felt it was definitely worth it. Price was expensive but everything is. We have specific needs for seating and accessibility and their staff was above and beyond accommodating. Starting with spot on Communication about a month prior via email to going out of their way at every turn to make sure our needs were being met the entire time at the show. Can't say enough great things about them and our experience!!! Coming back soon!!!!!!

Ask the Community - The Mountain Winery

What are the arrival & departure drop-off protocols for rideshare (i.e. Uber/Lyft) for concerts? Pro's & Cons of this method vs. driving in? Estimated costs to/from points just outside the venue zone (for those that've used this option)?

Never used it. But from what I've experienced going there I don't think it would be a problem but leaving might be as it maybe harder for them to get up to venue. When the concert is over seems to be one way.

If an attendee has a regular ticket, is the parking fee waived for handicapped drivers with a hanging g blue tag?

No, you still have to pay for parking. The Concord pavilion is a hit and miss regarding free disabled parking.

Best seats to buy if you wanna stand up and dance for the entire show?

I dont recall seeing any dance floor when I was there. Dancing in the aisle and stairs might be your only option. I dont know if it changes from show to show. I dont think so.

I was transferred tickets, and supposedly they have VIP Area/Club/Lounge access. What does that mean? Should we get to the show early?

There is a VIP lounge with a couple of bars and food that you can go to. It's located behind the stage. It also has a patio area with small tables so you can watch the concert from there. It is at the left side of the stage (if you're looking at the… Read more

Hi Community, We're coming from out of town for a concert and need a hotel room close to Mountain Winery. Any recommendations?

Saratoga Oaks a quaint and quiet place, closest to the winery, highly recommended. The Inn at Saratoga is a Hilton property, larger, also in the villlage, also highly recommended.

We have GA bleacher seats for a concert as well as dinner reservations at La Cresta. Can we put down blanket at 5:30p to save our bleacher seats while we are having dinner?

Are there any vegan food options?

Are there any COVID restrictions in place for the concert series (extra spacing, capacity restrictions, etc.) or is everything back to normal since it's outdoors? Trying to understand how crowded it might be.

I was here last night. No spacing or capacity restrictions

    Are they open now?

    Yes

Do I need to make a reservation?i am thinking going there now.

No reservations needed for wine tasting.

Can I purchase concert tickets in advance at the winery?

Hi Sarah, Our on-site Box Office opens on Saturday, May 18th.

How far and how long does it take to walk from the parking lot to the concert seating area? I have friends who have some difficulty walking.…

It's a small walk but there are some golf carts running that will take you to and from your car

At what age do you charge a child? Would it be best to tailgate? Can a family with small children come and spread out a blanket?

Not really appropriate... you can likely just pay for parking, and hang out "above" -- but, I'm sure that's likely frowned upon? (Not sure). There is "no" real place to lay down a blanket, inside the venue itself.

Hi, there will be show(Trevor Noah) in this location in July, does the age matter ? I'm u de rage but absolutely love him and his book

We are an all ages venue. Going to be a great show!

I just realized that on weekends, they do not take reservations and that it's "first come first serve". Can anyone comment on how difficult it is to find a table on a Sunday?

Depends on the weather honestly. Good weather brings more people out.

Is there a full bar or just wine when there is not a concert? We want to visit but one in our group is allergic to wine.

They offer beer and cocktails in addition to wine. Crazy expensive though.

What is the difference between vip and reserved parking at The Mountin Winery?

With VIP parking, you can park closer to the entrance of the ampitheater instead of down the hill. If you don’t have VIP parking I don’t recommend anybody in your party wearing heels because the walk is a little steep.
