Beware! Extremely Pushy and Disrespectful Communication…read more on Sunday, 8/24/25 I showed some initial interest in their $79 deal online and almost immediately regretted it. Within five minutes, I received two phone calls, a voicemail from Ashley and a text message. I was busy at the time and didn't respond right away--yet about an hour later, they texted me again. I politely let them know I'd stop by on Thursday and requested that any communication happen between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Despite this clear boundary, they texted me again the following night at 9:30 p.m.--waking me up in the process--just to "follow up." This behavior felt invasive. It's incredibly unprofessional, disrespectful of people's time, and ultimately pushy to the point of discomfort. Because of how aggressively they pursued me, I've decided not to move forward with them. I do not recommend doing business with a company that doesn't respect basic communication boundaries. Completely distasteful experience. **Update - 8/26/25 Alicia Pretzer has now contacted me from a different phone number, after I explicitly asked to be removed from their system last night. I then called Alicia and expressed to her very clearly that this is harassment and she needs to stop contacting me. If this behavior persists, I will have no choice but to pursue legal action. I strongly urge others to be cautious--if you're just seeking information, be aware that you may be subjected to ongoing harassment.

Disappointed with Burn Boot Camp's Customer Service/Policies…read more I was really excited to try Burn Boot Camp after being an Orange Theory member for several years. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. I signed a 6-month contract, but about a month in, I became unexpectedly ill and wasn't able to work out. I notified the gym, but it didn't matter, they continued to charge me and sent generic "we miss you" emails, which felt very impersonal given the situation. I accepted that I'd still need to pay out the rest of my contract, lesson learned. However, when my 6 months ended, they automatically rolled me into a month-to-month plan without my consent. I called and emailed to cancel, but got no response. After following up multiple times and forwarding my original email, someone finally replied and said I needed to fill out a separate cancellation request form. The entire process felt intentionally difficult. The lack of communication, empathy, and transparency was frustrating. Burn Boot Camp makes it very hard to cancel and doesn't seem to value customer service at all. I definitely would not recommend joining unless you're 100% certain you'll never need to cancel or pause your membership.

After all, you lose a lot of the water weight first, then the hard weight loss comes after. Before joining, I accepted the fact that being large & overweight was just going to be a way of life. This also took a toll on my self esteem and other aspects of my life. I had no desire to look in the mirror where I had to pre stretch my clothes for them to fit "better". Due to my weight at the time, I had to take medicine to control my acid reflux and blood pressure. Which also includes a few low blood sugar episodes (hypoglycemic) Then came my breaking point... I finally looked at myself in the mirror after years of a poor diet and zero excercise. Disappointed & disgusted in myself for letting me get so badly out of shape. My wife and I decided (after "bugging me" constantly) to start to get back into shape. We wanted to kickstart our weight loss and what better way than a trainer offering the first 4 weeks free (after a few waivers are signed). I can now say after 6 months of hard work, I have lost over 33 pounds, over 58 total inches, lost 3.8% body fat and 19 of those pounds were nothing but fat. I've lost almost 8 inches around my waist, 9 inches around my gut, 6 inches around my chest and hips. I can go on and on. Because of Jennifer, my clothes no longer need to be pre-stretched. no longer do I have to hold my breath to tie my shoes. No longer do I have to hope my button on my pants break loose. No longer do I have the desire to eat bad food. I was starting to wear XXXL shirts to hide my "fat feelings" now I can almost (depending on who makes it) wear a XL shirt. I still have a long way to go in my weight loss. I have made friends here that need the same thing and even though I will still come to My Perfect Body Now Boot Camp for years to come, I will never be able to thank Jennifer enough what what she's given me in just the short amount of time. She's given me my self esteem back, self confidence back, my waist line back . Just to name a few. But the absolutely best part is I no longer have to take any medications for blood pressure or acid reflux.

It's hard to put into words what an incredibly welcoming, positive and supportive environment it is. The workouts are challenging, fun, and do-able for ALL fitness levels. In the beginning I couldn't do all the reps (and sometimes I still can't!), but I've never feel pressured to push myself past my limits. Jennifer provides modifications to some of the more difficult exercises for beginners and she watches your form closely to prevent injuries, which is so very important. And did I mention the location is in a beautiful park setting where you get to enjoy the sunshine and fresh air? I may never exercise indoors again! I honestly can't say enough about Jennifer and her boot camp. Hands down, it was one of the best decisions I've made to improve my life and health. If you're thinking about joining, just do it! The first 4 weeks are free, so you have nothing to lose (besides maybe a few inches or pounds). Just show up each day with an open mind and a positive attitude, give it your best effort, and soon enough you will be amazed at what you can accomplish too!

All of which are employed by Team[fit] with fidelity and are geared to benefit the individual member. I get a team based workout with individualized attention that exceeds my standards and expectations. From having to book, change, or cancel class sessions last minute to seeking performance feedback, everything you need is here. Team[fit] is so organized they put it all at your finger tips using app based programs. To this day I continue to make friendships that start with a Team[fit] workout. Whether from group workouts to a positive fitness experience there is someone who seeks the same opportunities as you. So I recommend you give it a try. Sometimes I did my own thing and sometimes I took classes. I really thought I was getting decent exercise. Then I had a friend convince me to come to one of these classes on arm day and I realized that I was so much more weak and out of shape than I thought I was. This boot camp is run out of the gym at a church and is designed by the owner/trainer Jeff and his wife Jessie. It alternates between weight training days (arms/legs/full body) with conditioning days. There is always a bit of a cardio element to the weight training days and conditioning usually has lighter weights/higher reps and running/sprints. It is ALWAYS different and never boring. The best thing about it is that all you have to do is drag your butt to the gym and Jeff will do the rest. The workouts are about 45 minutes long, but they are hard. Jeff does a great job of guiding newbies, and will help anyone modify exercises if they are too tough. He will push you, though. So, here I am 9 months later and in WAY better shape than when I started, but I still have a ways to go. There are a ton of men and women that have been members for a lot longer and are in such amazing shape. It's great for me to see them kill workouts because it's inspiring. Also, everyone here is super duper nice and encouraging. It really is like a family in the best way possible. I can't thank Jeff and Jessie enough for everything they do at TeamFit. It has changed my life for the better, and I can't imagine ever stopping. Do yourself a favor and try them out!

I received a notification that I won a free session and decided to act on it as I realize that I'm out of shape and that, Although, I'm a yogi! That yoga is good for stretching the muscles and keeping the mind free of negative energy which Iwill continue. ‍ On appointment day: I drive back to the location where I signed up at, thinking that, my classes were going to be held here but, it didn't take long for me to find that the real studio was actually across the street from the San Tall mall. After calling to ask where everyone was Upon arrival of the new and correct location, which is in a up and coming outdoor strip mall, I noticed how nice Serena is. (FRONT DESK) Serena has a great spirit and professional attitude!!! She, not only, is very nice, she's the reason why I decided to act on the invitation because of her good vibes! She explained to me the rates, process and gave me a tour of the facility. Serena gathered all of my materials id be using from the supply cabinet and set me up on my machine that I would be using. She does a wonderful job at explaining everything and deserves a raise!!! She's your money maker for sure!!! She doesn't pressure you, which makes you want to join. There's nothing like a person who tells you about the business and let's you simmer it in, and think about joining. Serena is the BOMB!!! Side note: I hate pressure sales people(I also did sales for years so I know what it takes to be a top sales person and she has that nitch) as it only makes you want to join in which you end up canceling because you didn't have a chance to really think about it. Serena made it easy, free and flowing SO IF I were to have JOINED I'D STAY because of her love for working there and passion that spills off to being there! The vibes were great! Ok, enough praise for Serena who is a ROCKSTAR! Ashley, our instructor did a great job at pushing me to my potential and by not adding to much pressure, which is a plus! I loved hlAshleys approach while facilitating the class. The workout was intense for first time visit, (on me) but, because I was able to go at my own pace it still hurt. I hurt like hell hours later as my bones felt all of it but, I'm glad that I was able to participate. Sheesh I'm really out of shape! The cons: The music choice should be a mixture of different genres to get that strive even more appealing! I didn't like that Ashley asked me where else do I go to workout and when I mentioned another establishment, she told me that, she was the GM OF IT AND that the establishment closed down! The only reason why I was opposed to this misinformation is because the establishment is a place I was recently at and they only closed down temporarily and not closed down entirely!! Horrible execution at trying to gain my business This type of misinformation is unwarranted and could cause damage to establishments when the wrong information is passed on. Misinformation passed on, about any establishment is a bad rumor to relay. Whenever you ask someone where they work, shop or is an attendee at, it's best to shut your mouth before giving out false information. If came off as a bitter EX "GM" NOT COOL!!! Sometimes it's good to knod and smile! Js‍‍ This method of trying to pitch membership is a turn off to be honest and although Serena had me ready to sign up, Ashley's method completely lost me as an future candidate for joining. In going forward ,I still recommend this gym for a work out as it's s worth it, if you're into finding the perfect setting, location and vibe. Ashley did a good job otherwise, but just needs to be mindful to never slander an ex employer. You've moved on... don't look back! Leave in peace! Character speaks volumes!!! There's plenty of free parking here and healthy food store, restaurants and other work out spots as well....I still recommend STRIDE though. I liked the less than 20 machines and class which gives it a better vibe. Good luck to this location as they continue to grow! Thanks for having me! Please do not swarm me with future emails and invites though. Lol

There is a lot of competition out there, if you charge a lot, you should offer a lot more. Sometimes we have to get creative with weights if everyone in your group uses the same amount as you. The carpet is dirty. I hated doing exercises that brought me to the ground because it may get vacuumed but needs shampooing with all the feet and sweat. Grosses me out honestly. No social media presence. I do think if you advertised classes more then you'd have more interest. Advertising a word of the week felt silly rather than inspiring. The app never had the right coaches listed. Not a big deal but this was over 50% of the time where the actual coach was not the one listed. I hate the stretch routine. Why stretch my legs for 4 weeks when you do arms, core, cardio, etc. Most of the time, no one actually did what was written. I saw a lot of awful form but the stations go so fast, not really an opportunity to correct it. Depending on your group, people didn't interact with each other much so I kept to myself. I also would've liked more variety than just arms and legs, upper lower or push pull kind of rotations.
