Delicious! Stopped by Lift on my drive to Loveland. Love these cute little drive thru coffeeshops. Ordered a Medium 24 Karat (which originally I thought was frozen) to keep me going. Lift seems to be known for its sweet Premium drinks. Customer service is lovely. They always offer to remake drinks if you don't like them. Would definitely come back again. read more

Stopped by here on our way to Scheels and Liberty Firearms this weekend. This is a drive through only and the service was quick. The girls working were very friendly and very helpful which was great since this was our first time here. The one girl took time to chat with us while the second girl made our drinks and bagged up our food. I want to take a second to rave about their seasonal cookie dough cold brew. Amazing coffee and not overly sweet even with mocha syrup and a cold foam topper. Absolutely delicious and some of the best cold brew I've ever had. My brother got the raspberry peach energy Arnold Palmer which he enjoyed and stated was "very fruity". Their chupacabra breakfast burrito was huge and was so good. It was stuffed full of potatoes, bacon, chorizo, eggs, green chili and a bunch of other delicious ingredients and was served piping hot. The chocolate croissant did not have enough chocolate filling for my liking but it was fresh and had great buttery flakiness so I couldn't be too upset. I hope to be back next time I'm up in Johnstown. This is worth the stop off the I25 on your way up North for sure. read more

I'm mad at myself for not getting a burrito! lol So I can't judge the food. But let me take a minute to say pairing with other small businesses to provide the food options is genius and focusing on the craft THIS COFFEE! The service was phenomenal I didn't get to tip her by card idk if it was an option as we were talking and I shame myself for that maybe my son will want one and we'll go back. But this review needed to be out here ASAP! (Dark headed killer smile slender girl btw thank you) The coffee is amazing I chose to roll with their seasonal pictures you'll see the large butter pecan macchiato add 2 shot with almond milk. When I first moved to Loveland I was worried I wouldn't find an indie coffee shop with stellar brews. Not only did I find it, but I've been a regular ever since. They have an outstanding variety of sugary options, and honestly great black plain coffee. They also have phenomenal warmed up croissants, and top notch service! Great coffee and super friendly employees. I also love the theme going on here. It's right down the street from one of the locations I work at, so I've been going on my lunch breaks and trying something new every time. Today, the girl recommended Joyride to me, which was amazing. They have a punch card reward system, and when I've lost one, they've had no problem starting me another. I've heard their blended drinks are particularly good but that's not my thing, so this review is for their iced beverages! Joyride, Lucky Joe, Whiteout, and 24 Karat are all great. The Lucky Joe with oat milk was my favorite. Great little place to try that never really has a line and always has wonderful service. The quality and customer service never lacks. read more

I discovered Lift Coffee Bar because I was desperate for coffee and the line at Starbucks was wayyy too long to risk it. I'm so happy that they didn't disappoint me! The coffee is great! The customer service is friendly and attentive. This spot is great but it's only a drive through coffee place. You can't sit in and enjoy the space. The design is really cool with a garage like concept and they change their pastry flavors every day which is great! This is it, this is the best coffee shop in town. They have classics, seasonal specials, coffee, caffeine free, on tap, blended and more!! Awesome customer service, I was told if I don't like it she will make me a new one. Got the Griswold which was the Chai Spiced Nog added a shot of espresso and oh baby was it was great! Today was my lucky day! I learned about flip day which I had never heard of before. I tried a sugar free french vanilla and butterscotch nitro cold brew (can only have zero calorie drinks at the moment for a competition) and for being a zero calorie sugar free drink it was better than just black coffe which I cant do. This is by far the best drive through coffee bar I've ever been to and I am a snob. I own an Italian machine at home and grind my own beans but when I'm out this place is a treat! Sooo much better then Starbucks or Ziggies or Coffee Bean. They use real syrups and their drinks actually taste like coffee instead of sugary drinks. My favorite is the JoyRide which had hazelnut and coconut but mostly tastes like good coffee. Get Happy and go there! read more

Coffee done right. Excellent quality coffee paired with innovative and delicous flavors. Love the Lucky Joe and nothing better than the Forklift when you need a pick me up. Grab a fresh piece of locally sourced flavored bread, we had the pumpkin chocolate chip which was amazing. Staff was friendly and very helpful. While visiting my parents over Christmas my step dad recommended Lift. My wife and I tried it before heading out of town and weren't disappointed. I got the Griswald (Eggnog Chai) and my wife got the Lucky Joe, both drinks tasted excellent. The people at the window were also very nice and the service was super quick. I am here in Johnstown again working and will definitely be stopping in quite a few times to get a lift! Very impressed! read more

It wasn't until I asked for my check because I was ready to leave that she suddenly asked if I was planning to eat. That level of inattentiveness is frustrating and completely avoidable. It's especially disappointing because the location is fantastic, the vibe is great, the food is consistently excellent, and every other bartender and staff member I've interacted with, including the manager, has been amazing. There are some truly great bartenders there who provide attentive, friendly service and make the experience enjoyable. But if I walk in and see her behind the bar, I will not stay. She has completely turned me off from being there when she is working. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, because the rest of the team and the overall experience deserve better than this one recurring issue. I am giving this review one star simply because of the continued experience with her.

They had good texture as there was a variety of beans used and they had a nice hint of sweetness. As for the mac & cheese, I would say it wasnt my favorite, but the noodles were perfectly cooked. The cornbread was tasty and sweet and was both moist and tender.

The food was spot on and they happen to have some of my favorite beers on top as well so all in all it's a home run for sure.

Sometimes they offer the choice of two different roasts for their espresso drinks, which I've never seen before anywhere else, ever. Stop reading here if that's all you need to know. Today. I order a Smokey Mocha (they also have a regular Mocha on the menu). Side note. It's really hard to screw up a mocha. At its most basic it's hot chocolate with shots of espresso. Even with bad or mediocre espresso shots there's usually enough milk and chocolate to cover it up. On the flipside, it's really hard to make a mocha that stands out from the crowd. (Spoiler-Dark Heart surpasses all that mocha mediocrity). Rewind. The first time I went to Dark Heart a couple years ago, a menu item caught my attention. The Smokey Mocha. My friend and I asked what it was. The barista at the register smiled and gave us her sales pitch. Something she'd obviously done many times and still didn't seem to mind doing. My friend and I were both sold as we each ordered one. After I was done with my Smokey Mocha, I wanted to order another. Unfortunately, we were coffee cafe hopping and had four more stops. When I got home, I started gushing about my Smokey Mocha to the SO and anyone else who would listen. Fast forward back to today. I order the 8-ounce Smokey Mocha for here. My drink has a nice heart design with a generous amount of black lava sea salt sprinkled on top. I smell notes of cocoa, but I can't tell if it's from the espresso (Relentless blend) or the cocoa powder. With every sip I take, I taste warm sweet (from cane sugar and maple syrup) mocha that ends with a touch of salt. The smoked paprika is an afterthought. I savor my drink, but I reach the bottom of my mug much too quickly. I swirl the mug to get the last dregs of salt and cocoa powder (single origin cocoa powder from the Philippines according to the barista). As I drive away, I can taste the salt on my llips, and I still feel the astringency of the cocoa powder in my mouth. This is no ordinary mocha drink. The Dark Heart Smokey Mocha has no equal.
