    Unblended smoothie

Half of my smoothie was unblended! Not even joking there were 4 big chunks that were not blended so I had to use a spoon so I could drink around it. It tasted good but I couldn't even drink 1/3 of it. The patio is nice as well as the interior and the cashier was super friendly. Don't get a smoothie or instead ask them to actually blend it.

My chai cup was flavorful and satisfying, and the café's charm--rooted in community, local sourcing, and solid hospitality. I loved the atmosphere and friendly service. Mugs offered a warm, enjoyable experience.

I love the energy of this shop. You instantly feel welcomed. They have a ton of different types of seating which I also appreciated. I will say the menu is slightly confusing. They have items listed as vegan though parts of them are not. So we ordered the vegan pretzel that comes with cheese and mustard. Because the item was labeled vegan we assumed all aspects were vegan however after ordering we were notified the cheese was real. I wish things were labeled vegan and vegetarian to help clarify this confusion. The matcha was incredible and I enjoyed every last sip! The vegan bagel sandwich I had was pretty filling and good as well.

Been here a few times now... most recent stop was a quick stop for road coffees and was truly impressed. The interior atmosphere has all kinds of nice appointments and great seating options. There was a steady flow of customers and the service was spot on... take 4-5 minutes to get the two coffees. Big White Whale is a hazelnuts, white chocolate, Irish cream latte..... WOW!!!!! Fantastic drink! London Fig with Almond Milk; my wife said it was tasty.... That's definitely a 5 stars compliment!!

MUGS thermos are leak proof. Oh my! Stickers on site for last minute mementos.

I would love to stay on route back from morning but their hours begin when my evening shift ends. GREAT choice for all ages!

Mugs gets it right every time. Service, variety, quality. My go-to Old Town coffee shop. Grabbed a latte on my way to FoCo Pride festival & was treated to another great experience thanks to the Saturday morning staff. While I normally come for coffee, there's a terrific variety of food options as well. The chai spice bowl (June special) was a hit! Yum!

Two visits in as many days. My lovely college kid suggested it (& he doesn't even drink coffee!). Situated on College Ave, it was still east to find parking. Yesterday there was no line around lunch time, this morning there was a line but it moved quickly and there were still plenty of tables both inside and out. This place has a nice coffee house vibe. There are pieces of art on the walls made by local artists available for purchase. Now on to the food! Yesterday it was lunch time, so my companion and I shared a Colorado Chicken Mac and Cheese. It came in a huge bowl and was so creamy with just the right amount of green chili to give it some heat. The chicken was well cooked and flavorful and balanced the richness of the cheesy goodness. We were able to finish it, but there's no way I could have done it alone. For dessert we split a lemon bar. It had a nice amount of chewiness to it, reminiscent of a lemon bar I had in Silverton (can't remember the place offhand but I know I yelped about it!) This morning I got a specialty latte (goldfinger with cinnamon and caramel) and a breakfast burrito. Both were delicious. Inside they also sell art work from local artists as well as some of their own shirts, mugs etc. They make a point of highlighting the various local businesses from which they source ingredients and services, which gives it a warm community feel. My only objection (a problem for me but not them) is that it was both busy and loud, so I would have a hard time if I were trying to work (like I said, an issue only for me). I would definitely be a regular if I lived in FoCo.

The service here is always pretty good. They'll explain menu items and give suggestions, but they're not overly helpful with suggesting add ons so you have to ask specific questions haha Overall, the coffee is fabulous and it's a nice spot to sit with friends. What more could you ask for in a coffee shop?

Btw, I have been to France many times on business, have eaton at some of the best restaurants in Paris, really good, just not to my taste. Ok, we went here last Sunday, I wasn't hungry, but my wife was, so we thought we would use the card. Wife ordered a beef dip, one of her favorite sandwiches, not on my top 10 list. I ordered a charcuterie plater, figured we could take it home, which we did. Anyway, I took a bit of her sandwich, and even though I wasn't hungry, I ate about half of it. One of the best sandwiches I have ever had of any kind. Very simple but delicious. Baguette was amazing, beef appeared to be cured somehow, huge flavor, au jus was great. Today I am going to Timnath to meet a friend for lunch and I am going to make a 30 minute detour to get a sandwich for us for dinner. Not inexpensive, but worth it. Life is too short to eat mediocre food, plus I am a stingy with my calories, like to spend them on delicious food. Thank you La Boutique. Sincerely, Bret and Michelle

I just love the FoCo food scene and wanted to try something new. The barista made a few suggestions. It was before 11am, so that eliminated all the pretzel roll options on the menu. I decided to go with the Roma. She was right! It was refreshing. I loved every bite. Very bread-forward but clearly a high quality bake. My partner got the French Dip and enjoyed it. There's a few small tables as well as barstools along the wall, but most people ordered to-go. Check out the marketplace items, too. So cute!

They trimmed the bone end and pushed all the meat to the top. This made them less fatty and stringy, more crispy and delicious. Their short rib croquettes were also amazing. I'd never had a short ribs prepared this way stuffed inside a tasty pastry with potato and cheese. They are my new favorites. I was so full on appetizers that I went straight to dessert next and I have to say that their cookie dough creme brûlée. It wasn't too sugary and the cookie dough flavoring was not overpowering. Simply fantastic way to end a meal. I even took home their brownie and ice cream for my housemate. They said it was the best brownie they've ever had.

This new rebranding of Choice City is way way over priced, totally destroyed the cool beer taps-Chimay Ale used to be on tap. It's all gone, chill vibe, great sandwiches, deli counter meats. All gone. In its place is a sterile Over priced mess of a restaurant that was decorated with on line IKEA furniture and a terrible Sysco Foods mass produced food product. The portions are huge, the ingredients are clearly high quality, and here's the real miracle: they give you enough dressing. Every single time. The sandwiches and wraps are every bit as generous and fresh as the salads, packed with ingredients rather than skimping to save a buck. You can tell the food is made with care, not just assembled. Beyond the food, the space itself is spotless. You can tell they take real pride in keeping it that way, and tables turn over quickly even when the place is busy. I've also used their catering for events and they've been consistently reliable, which is not something I take for granted after dealing with catering flakes in the past. They're rated really high -- actually one of the highest-rated restaurants in Fort Collins -- and from a food perspective I don't really understand why. Sliders with sweet potato fries -- fine, nothing extraordinary. Potato éclairs -- . It was really just mashed potatoes with some topping on it. I honestly didn't even finish it. Mountain oysters -- huge letdown. They came out so overcooked they were basically crunchier than potato chips, with the batter crumbling off. I've never had them before, so I didn't get a good representation of how they're supposed to be -- these were just super-cooked batter. On the space: we ended up sitting in three different spots to eat. We went outside by the street first -- super loud, and people were smoking, so we headed back in. The open spot inside was right under the AC and about forty degrees, so we moved to the back area. The back was fine -- covered -- but pretty dirty, with mop buckets and clutter sitting around. The one drink I had was a good value since we were there at happy hour -- some kind of fruity whiskey drink. It was fine, but nothing I'd seek out again. I hate to give such a friendly place a bad review. It'd be a really great spot if you're a college student who wants some cheap bites and a drink -- but honestly it's just bar food, and the ceiling is probably a 4 on a really good day. I wouldn't get excited to head down there, and parking is a bit of a hassle too. Would recommend only if you're after very cheap eats in that area -- check them out for happy hour. But I would not return.
