Great spot and delicious coffee! The staff (Suzanne and Elijah) are very friendly. Excellent place for a meet up or working away since there are plenty of tables, a cozy sofa area and a balcony! Lots of electrical outlets too. Along with coffee/tea they also have breakfast and lunch items. Check it out sometime! (It's upstairs, but they do have an elevator)

This is a cute place with lots of space. I enjoyed a very yummy mango smoothie while working on the free wifi.

It's around the corner and nice enough. The girl beyond the counter was super pleasant and it's pretty chill. No complaints!

Independent shop. Nice place. Friendly staff. Quality product. Do not let the odd location stop you from giving it a try.

The portions here are generous without sacrificing quality and taste. The food is always flavorful and prepared as ordered. The beignets are served hot and fresh and heavily dusted with powdered sugar. The beignets are a must! My favorite dish to order is the cajun omelette with potatoes. The omelette comes with spicy sausage and diced ham in creole sauce. You have a choice of grits or potatoes. Pro tip: Add their creole seasoning to your meal for an added flavor kick. It also comes with a buttermilk biscuit with their homemade jam. The restaurant is very quaint and has a homey vibe. You'll find Mardi Gras beads and Creole posters/memorabilia throughout the restaurant reminding you of its roots and culture. Of course, I'd love for the space to be a little bigger, but for the most part, it's manageable. The space is small and it does get busy so expect a wait. Service is great also. Everyone is friendly and attentive. We asked for our beignets to be served after our meal and our server remembered. She refiled our coffee consistently and checked on us periodically. Definitely check out Lucile's if you've never tried it. Highly recommend!

I end up leaving about half of my meal or have to force myself to finish. I've really tried to love it since Rainbow always has rave reviews, but it's just not for me. I've visited to try out their vegan/vegetarian options when I'm in the mood to eat something lighter or focus on plant-based meals since they're known for their accommodating menu. I've tried the falafel wrap, the scrambled tofu, and the vegan breakfast burrito. I've also tried their golden milk latte. I love turmeric/golden milk lattes so I was excited to try it here. It was okay, but a little too grainy for my taste. The service is fine, but nothing stands out about it. You arrive, place your order, and they'll deliver to your table or give you a buzzer so you can pick up. The restaurant itself is charming, bright, and clean. It has a really great vibe. The best part is the popular patio area especially on beautiful, sunny days. Rainbow is a good restaurant, just not for me.
