Sky Bear has a really relaxed vibe; on a Monday night, many patrons were playing board games or painting. Food: the Buffalo Chicken Quesadillas were superb, but next time I'll order two cups of ranch (salsa didn't work). The Margherita Pizza wasn't nearly as good. Beers: Hibernation Breaker Sherry Barrel Aged was great; Hibernation Breaker Port Barrel Aged was even better! In a surprising twist, Hibernation Breaker (not aged) tasted like a lit cigarette. Our third stop in Loveland, this one may have been the best. Cool vibe, and really good beer. We split a flight of the: Black Bear Stout Barenaked Brown Ale Nitro Noir Dry Irish Stout Hibernation Breaker Chocolate Coffee Milk Stout All but the dry Irish stout were delicious. Had it not been our third stop, we would've had more. Should we return to Loveland, this'll be the first place we go. Beertender was friendly too. read more

At the time I went to Sky Bear Brewery I saw that they had some hard seltzers on tap of theirs. I don't think it's something they normally offer and perhaps was only around for a limited time. The seltzers also didn't appear on Untappd to make a check in for so I believe I was here for a rare opportunity and didn't know it. And a hard seltzer sounded very good after a steady stream of beer at other breweries I paid visits to. The seltzer I had was extremely refreshing and had hints of fruitiness to it. It was nice and subtle and nothing was overpowering about it. In fact it was perfect to have as the day I was here it was fairly toasty. The location is cool and is situated right in downtown Loveland which makes a nice spot to hit several breweries all within a short walking distance. read more

Skybear was a great vibe and super chill. There were several different groupings of people here this evening. It was busy but not super loud, and so we started out on the patio. Their craft beers were fantastic, as was the service. The crew working the evening we visited was engaging and helpful with understanding the beer options, as well as helped us understand more about life in Loveland. I do have to mention that I love how the bartenders here (as we found to be true across Colorado in general) promote tasting their beers before you commit to a full pint. I thought their Black Bear Stout was a full flavored milk stout...yummy. Rachel liked her raspberry sour. Well done, Skybear!! Can't wait to come hang out here again. read more

Met up with some friends for some lunch and a beer. I like this place. The location is easy to get to. It is the downtown part of Loveland so you can walk about to many places. They have parking! Bonus! We had a nacho and I enjoyed one of their dark beers. The nacho was tasty and I wouldn't mind trying some of the other items on their menu. The beers were good. Our friend even snagged a crowler to take home. Customer service was great. The staff made us feel welcomed and gave good recommendations. read more

Hidden gem! First time driving through Loveland and decided to stop downtown. This brewery had such a cute name that we had to come by! Got the Harvest Moon Pumpkin Ale and my partner got the Golden Prairie Belgian Wit. The pumpkin ale came with a cinnamon sugar rim which was unique but actually really complimented the beer! We also ordered some nachos with veggies and it was tastier than I would imagine a brewery without a full restaurant would have. The service was great too and everyone was so friendly. Will definitely come back next time we're in Loveland! read more

Went downtown to try this new brewery out. They have a good selection of beers and some tasty cocktails. I had a raspberry Moscow mule.... Delicious! They have a menu for food as well. Pizza, nachos and some other offerings. The nachos were good and it is so nice to have a place that serves food to eat along with your beer/cocktails. The place is comfort and very nicely designed/decorated. They have outdoor, indoor and bar seating. The staff were fun and helpful. Fun place to meet up with friends or a casual date night. Nice little brew pub. We went here for lunch so my rating is on the lunch time experience. Inside seating was ample and there are several outside tables as well. They have a garage door to the eating area which was open and made the inside space very comfortable to sit in. For lunch there wasn't any table service so all orders go through the bar tender at the counter which always irritates me but I understand the concept. The beer here is well crafted and I would give the place a higher rating if only on the beer; However, the food service took a bit to come to the table and, though we thought the food quality was acceptable, it was kind of simple and not particularly impressive. I assume they offer food as a complement to the beer and not as a stand alone accomplishment. Overall, the place was very clean, including the rest room, and welcoming. I would come here again to try more beer and would like to see how dinner service varies from lunch. read more

We went here for the first time yesterday, and this place is great! The bartenders were prompt and curtious. I had a Red Fox beer, which is their Irish Red. I wasn't a fan of it, but that's just an opinion. I also had their Rattlesnake beer, which is an IPA, and I loved it. I got a buffalo chicken quesadilla to eat, and it was delicious! My wife got a margherita pizza, and she said it was very good as well. Overall a great experience, good food and drink! We highly recommend! read more

I really like this brewery in downtown Loveland. Good beers, nice staff and dog friendly. Food was decent for bar snacks. The only problem I have had was with another customer that had a giant dog sitting next to the order area, that she was not paying any attention to at all. Her dog tried to go after my dog twice and she did nothing about it. I was really close to booting the aggressive dog if it had grabbed my dog! It sucks when dog owners are morons and end up ruining a great dog friendly spot. read more

Still, the margherita pizza was excellent (get the arugula), and the black bear stout was flavorful. Great new business downtown Loveland. A brewery that also offers a line of great cocktails and food items. Beautiful interior with plenty of seating at the bar, tables inside, or great little patio outside that is mostly in the shade. Kid friendly as well. They have a nice shelf of games to play while having a cold beer. Gender neutral bathrooms (that were super clean). Free WiFi. Easy parking in the lot directly across from it or if that's full just pop into the many other easy parking areas. Also, I love the logo and name, super cute. The staff was amazing for their opening weekend. I'm super excited to have another terrific business in our downtown. Come check it out! read more

The employees were very friendly. Came from Colorado Springs to visit a friend and we came with our dogs and we were trying to find a dog friendly place and we weren't sure if they were accepting but they let us in with our dogs. It was windy and cold so they let us sit inside. We ordered a couple of drinks and appetizers to share. Everything was pretty good from the nachos and margaritas we had. read more

This was probably the worst food experience I have ever had. Burnt frozen pizza x2.. just think of a totinos or a generic freezer burned store bought pizza cooked in a small countertop oven.
