I do not recommend using Life Time Quality in Westerville for any services. In May, I contacted them for quotes on roofing and siding after storm damage. This was an insurance claim, and I made it very clear from day one that I could not have any out-of-pocket costs other than the portion I already knew I was responsible for. Their representative came out with samples, reviewed my insurance policy, and assured me that everything would be covered. Once they submitted information to my insurance and the first check was issued, communication from Life Time Quality became almost nonexistent. The roofing crew they contracted did an acceptable job, but the siding contractors were extremely poor, leaving behind a mess that I had to deal with myself. It took 8.5 months for the entire project to be completed--far longer than what I was told. During this time, I was reassured that because of the delays, the upgrades I had ordered would be removed from the bill and that I would not owe anything out of pocket. Despite reviewing my insurance policy in advance and guaranteeing coverage, the total cost went from $24,000 to $36,000. My insurance claim was closed based on the amount the company originally submitted and was paid, but Life Time Quality later came back claiming there had been a "billing mistake." They also do not answer emails, do not return calls, and offer terrible customer communication overall. The only thing they are consistent with is sending a bill every day--even though they won't respond to a simple question. In the end, I am being forced to pay almost $5,000 out of pocket despite all their guarantees. The quality of work, the communication, and the overall experience were awful. I strongly urge anyone considering Life Time Quality to think twice--this company overpromises, underdelivers, and leaves customers holding the bill for their mistakes. Before you ever start a home repair, read the consumer protection act. Powerful information within. I DO NOT recommend this company at all. I am going to try to make this huge issue short: A tree limb fell through my roof. LTQR cam highly recommended by a friend. They came out took a look at the roof, sent a person out with the contract. Pretty cut and dry. We picked out everything meaning shingles, soffit and gutters. Signed the contract. This was May. Exactly 8 weeks later, before the contract would expire, they put my roof on. Ripped the gutters off. Left the soffit hangin and buckling around the house stating asbestos. About two months later an environmentalist evaluated the soffit stating asbestos. New contract with the asbestos and I missed this at the time, but they charged me a second time for gutters and soffit. One month later was the last time I heard from them. However, throughout May to October was like pulling teeth. Never get a correct answer if you got one because nobody knew. Or BSed their way through to satisfy you. If you got an email it was encrypted so that you could not respond back to that person. Christmas Day I reached out, and heard again, what they thought I wanted to hear. Mind you, my house had been sitting there with no soffit on a good half of the home. Single story 1087 sq ft ranch. I get told that once the weather warms up they can do the soffit and gutters. Environmentalist shows up mid spring to remove soffit. May 9 they show up to do the soffit. They were there from 7 am to at least 6 pm. Then came back the next day with one worker bringing along kids and wife. (Pretty sure licensed and bonded does not include employees family, and that if they get hurt while there it is on my property. Guess who is responsible.). Not only that but they used my shovel, my rake and some decaying wood against my house for the soffit. AND trampled down my flowers that I distinctly told everyone to stay away from. (That was Friday morning). When I went out Saturday morning, several had been cut off. WTF? They also busted my back porch light globe. I had a wind chime hanging there. Both gone. I have a motion light above my garage door, they left it hanging down by the electric cords. Before the job was even complete, I received an invoice for 7k. I asked for detailed itemized invoicing and receipts for the payments I had made plus a copy of the permit necessary for the replacement. I received a longer version of the invoice I had been receiving and nothing of the other. By this time my insurance company had paid 23K. I went to the BBB who pats the had of the business as in tsk tsk you did a boo boo. And the company responds with what you want to hear. Went to the Attorney General who referred me right back to the BBB. Useless. Total waste of time. The total repair was finally complete on 12. I heard from a young lady who was the only person who seemed to care and even sent me a gift card to get more flowers. My non-communicative sales person, somehow got promoted to Cincinnati to a fancy title to train sales down there. Of course he got promoted. Sales positions are commission based. He made out with my small house and a silly me not knowing about roofing and contractual criteria along with the consumer protection act and so on. Last I heard from them, July 24th. But of course, they made out big time with a small job. Oh and btw, no asbestos in the soffit. I had a piece tested. Please pardon all spelling and grammatical errors. They helped me through the insurance process, were very easy to schedule with, worked with me in selecting the materials and explaining the upgrades and costs, and ultimately made my roof replacement experience very easy. They also did the project very quickly, and were great in terms of the cleanup and day-of work. As an anecdote to their commitment to the customer, they were very adamant about making sure that we had moved our cars from the garage. They gave me a head's up the day they dropped off materials, and made sure when they dropped off the dumpster a day later over the weekend, that we had access to our vehicles. I would not recommend this company if you are expecting things to move in a timely manner and communication to be clear or occur in an appropriate amount of time. From the beginning it has been a lot of dropped conversations and continues that way. We began this process in April of 24 and now Jan 25 still not complete. First the contractor I was working with stopped communicating and I was not told he was let go, then get a new contractor who was very timely in his response and moving forward. Said supplies were all ordered and project finally underway. But then 5 weeks later I call checking on install date and find out supplies had never been ordered. So now I wait again. Finally they install. But did not finish the install and I had to call numerous times and wait 2 more months before someone came to complete. Then I'm never told if it was complete and wait another month before someone all of a sudden tells me the job is done and I owe money, however all along the way between them actually finishing I was asked 5 times to pay and get insurance money to them. However I kept saying not until the project was complete and everyone said it was or it would be soon. Finally finish and get my bill but then the price is increased from what I was originally told after being told because of the lack of communication I'd be getting a discount. Communication is slow, sketchy, the employees were constantly bad talking and making jokes about their business, and multiple people told me different reasons or excuses blanking others for it but never fixing any of the issues at hand read more

This review is not reflective of any work as none was performed. This is specifically about their communication, or lack thereof. I engaged Lifetime Quality (LQ) in late September/2023 to investigate roof hail damage to my home. They came out in a timely way and found some roof hail damage. They did an excellent job of contacting my insurance company and starting a claim. My insurance company came out to my house soon after and found no roof hail damage. Ben of LQ said (via text) he sent additional roof damage pictures to my insurance company on October 4 but they said they received nothing. Ben said (via text) he would resend them on October 10. On October 16, I let Ben know (via text) that my insurance company still had not received anything from him. No reply from Ben. I followed up with him (via text) on October 19 and 23 with no reply from Ben. I then called the LQ main office on October 26, explained that I was looking for a status, and they said they would contact Ben and his manager and ask that Ben contact me. Again, no reply from Ben. I called the LQ main office again on November 1 to let them know I was never contacted and now considered our agreement and working relationship over. The actual process of selecting roof shingles and insurance coverage went smoothly. The after part is what makes me rethink going with this company. After we had the new roof installed, we had our gutters cleaned. Thank goodness we did, because the gutter cleaners pointed out there were missing shingles on our roof. They said maybe they had flown away, but we did not see anything around our house or backyard. This coincided with water damage that then occurred on our basement ceiling. It is nothing that has happened before. After multiple times of contact, they were able to replace the shingles and on a separate day had a few people come in and repair the basement ceiling. Recently we noticed a water leaking in our sunroom, which is adjoined to the kitchen and dining space. It has now been over two weeks and multiple contact attempts, but nothing has been scheduled with us in regards to someone checking it out after one cancellation from their end. It is honestly very frustrating. Where is the customer service that was promised at the beginning? If given the opportunity, I would go with a different company. read more

The Company came through our neighborhood knocking on doors asking if I would want a free roof inspection due to some of the neighbors having damage that they were having re-roofing done. Travis came back a short time later and said he would like to inspect the roof. He went on the roof and did a thorough inspection of the roof and came down. He said there were no real issues and that the roof was still good for at least 5 more years. The roof is around 14 years old and for a company to give me an honest appraisal of the condition was really refreshing. Typically when companies come through a neighborhood like this, they are looking to scam people. Very refreshing to see an honest company looking out for people. After noticing several signs of roof damage and deterioration, and asking a neighbor about his experience with Lifetime Quality, we set up a roof inspection. Lifetime Quality came out, was friendly and professional, put us at ease and agreed to do the work and work with our home insurance company to affordably install a new, and appealing, roof. Only a couple of hiccups during the installation... a scratched screen that they reimbursed me for, and a window border that was chipped (they came out and replaced and even left the unused paint). It was a full day job and all of our outdoor plants, our AC unit, and cleaned up after the job was done. Travis was attentive and responsive through the process, the office team was kind and courteous as we walked through the final payment from insurance, and we would recommend Lifetime Quality for a roof replacement. last year lifetime quality roofing was canvassing our neighborhood and offered a free inspection. the inspection, I was told that I needed a completely new roof. The sales representative explained that he could get the roof no cost to me using my homeowners insurance. after inquiring and asking several pertinent questions pertaining to the cost my out-of-pocket expenses, I was told that my deductible would be all that I would have to pay. Needing the new I was happy to accept the agreement. I the representative several times about out-of-pocket expenses, other than the deductible for my insurance. I was assured that if there was any additional payment, it to nothing. Once the representative came to my home and we color and other materials, we reviewed the contract once again. upon review, I asked again about out-of-pocket expenses for unforeseen things that may occur and was assured that my insurance company would cover those things. After completion of the job a few months later I get a call stating that I owed over $1000 more for incidentals that the insurance company did not cover. I spoke with my insurance company and I was furious because I didn't understand why I would be charged for something that occurred that I had no way of knowing was occurring under the shingles on my roof. I was also upset with company because they made it seem like there would be absolutely no out-of-pocket cost other than my deductible. when speaking with the representative in Ohio, she went over the cost of the additional materials they had to purchase. I questioned the amount of materials because not everything was used and was left at my premises. I understand that sometimes you order extra materials so that you don't have to run to the store, however, there was an large amount of materials left. When speaking with the representative at the company, they said that I had been charged for the materials and after several arguments, they said that they might adjust the. After speaking with them recently, that conversation did not go well. They were adamant on saying they did not tell me that, and that I was incorrect, however, I wrote down the conversation and they most certainly told me that I was charged for the extra materials. Now I also want to state that other than the billing issue, they'll work was superb! They finished my roof in a timely manner, and when there was an issue, they were super quick to come out and fix it. I just wanted to warn you, beware of the incidentals that may occur. read more

They were not transparent with the cost from the get-go and it was way overpriced by the time they were finished. Overpriced By thousands of dollars compared to others in the neighborhood. After a very bad hail storm came through, Lifetime Quality Roofing came out to check my roof & gutters. They found a lot of damage and Cody from there helped me make the call to insurance to describe what was going on. My insurance agreed it needed replaced and Lifetime came to my house to help me pick the roof and gutter colors. My roof was done while on vacation and I came home to my house looking great. They cleaned up well and no evidence they were there. Josh V then took over my account and he helped me when had issues with insurance only wanting to replace a few gutters leaving the rest not matching. I would never use Lifetime Quality Roofing again. When I first met them I thought they seemed shady but because a friend had recommended them I decided to give them a shot. They are a fairly typical "storm chasing" organization. They basically agree to repair or replace your roof for whatever your insurance provider will pay. They know that the insurance settlement will be much higher than their actual cost so they make a killing. I expect this, what I didn't expect was that they would also work hard to identify add-on work that they could charge back to me. The real kicker was that in the fine print of their contract (which they want you to sign immediately) is wording that says they can do incremental work up to $5000 without your prior approval (shame on me for not reading the details closer). The incremental work is exactly what they did to me. On one rental property it was close to $2000 in incremental expenses and the other I believe was over $4000 (I don't recall the exact numbers). By the time I knew about the work, it had been done and it was too late to do anything about it. They referenced "Building codes" for doing the work but when I contacted other roofers (I contacted two others) I got a different story. I had a long discussion with Lifetime Quality Roofing about their business practices and they "dug in their heels" and stood by what they had done. I was impressed with the overall work done from the beginning with Logan first visit to the actual roof being installed. That was until I asked Logan for the money we were promised for a referral and placing a sign in the front $150. Logan began the run around and once I gave him all the info I had to wait to get approval from someone else. Week later had to email Logan again and was told it was approved that check would be mailed. Week later asked him about money said check was send out and that was on may 2nd. We had an inspector come out and do a free inspection on the roof following a wind storm. He was quick and professional to set us up and determined there was enough damage to make an insurance claim, which we started on the spot, no strings attached. Once the insurance approved the repair and released initial funds, it took a little bit to get us scheduled (which was understandable, given that it was prime time for roof repairs). There were a couple of bumps right before, during, and after the installation which is the reason for my 4 stars: - the scheduler bumped us a day on the install due to weather--he simply left a voicemail telling us what the new date was (again, understandable but when you have 2 people working from home, being asked to take time off work last minute to accommodate the install can be difficult); -the installers were prompt, although the install took a LOT longer than they initially told me. There was quite a bit of debris left behind in spite of their efforts to clean up after the install. Nevermind that they took a nap on the front yard mid install; -the container they parked in our driveway which was supposed to be removed at the end of the day of the install stayed there for a couple of days until I asked the original inspector to get someone out to take care of it (since we couldn't use the driveway). -they used black caulking on white flashing (new shingles are black) which I asked if they could change to match the flashing; they did. Overall, the finished roof is beautiful and the process was relatively seamless. I would recommend them. read more
