The carpet we selected was on backorder, so it took a couple of extra weeks for our carpet to arrive. Justin came out and gave us a bid on our project. We felt it was reasonably priced for such a high quality pet-friendly berber carpet and pad. We accepted the bid the day we received it, and a couple days later paid for the materials as down payment. Once installation was done, we would pay the remaining balance. I'm never comfortable paying for an entire bid upfront. I was happy with the payment terms and felt they were fair. Makayla called to set up the installation appointment once the carpet arrived at the store. I was able to make an appointment the following weekend which worked out great for us. Frankie and his son, Aiden, installed our carpet. They arrived on time at 9am, and completed our project by 5pm. We chose a patterned carpet, so placement was a bit of a challenge. We were so happy with the installation. We absolutely love our new carpet and pad! The new pad is so cushy! I would highly recommend this company. From start to finish, everyone was professional, helpful and accommodating. We will definitely use them for any future flooring needs.

Our builder used Cascade Flooring for our new home build and we are very disappointed in how the…read moreowner has responded to issues we have had with the installation. Issue 1: Hardwood floor installation: During the install, newly laid sections of the hardwood floor were immediately covered with a thick cardboard to protect them. That's great to make sure they don't get damaged, except we had no opportunity to evaluate the install until we happened to show up one day before they had covered the day's work. What we saw was a pattern of 4 very short boards (looked like 'chicklets') that were installed together right in front of the fireplace in our great room. The main focal point of the great room with the smallest flooring boards all installed next to each other. (I don't install flooring for a living but who would do that?) So then we asked them to take up all the cardboard so we could inspect the ~3000 sq ft of hardwood that had already been installed. We found many other places where there were 2 or 3 short boards installed together. Needless to say we were not happy about that as our expectation was that those short boards would be used as end fillers, not as main boards in the center of the room, much less more than 1 of them in a row. The owner, Cindy, called me 'persnickety' (yes to my face) for wanting the sections replaced where there were multiple short boards together. After much discussion, she finally agreed to replace a subset of the board placements we were unhappy with. Issue 2: Tile baseboard in the bathrooms. We had Schluter edging installed at the top of the baseboards but the way the installation was left makes it look like there is a line of dirt all along the top. Pictures show how they left our bathrooms with the brown grout all along the top. Cindy's response was "It's the pre-sealed grout. That's great news! The painter can fix it!". I'm not sure who is supposed to hire and pay the painter to fix it given that we have roughly 250 linear feet of tile baseboard, but that was the response. My husband and I fixed a section ourselves by washing/scraping out the dark grout, caulking and then painting. Now at least it doesn't look like I have a strip of mud on top of my baseboards but it was a fair amount of work and it's going to take a bit of time for us to fix all of it. Very disappointed with the response after spending over $120K for flooring and tile install with them. Never again.

I should have walked out then but thought I needed the work. He didn't pay me for nearly two months on a several jobs I did for him. When we did finally meet up he was yelling and calling me names and even threatened to not pay. He then complained about having to work with immigrant installers who don't speak English very well. In short, because of his racist and overall unprofessional behavior and running of his store I will no longer be installing for him and cannot recommend his store to other installers or customers.

FLOOR CONNECTIONS, LLC located at 507 E MAIN STREET, BATTLE GROUND, WA is by far the worst company that I have ever had the misfortune to work with. The only reason I have given them one star is because I'm required to, so I can post a review. Due to Floor Connections subpar/shoddy work, price gouging and shady business practices I was forced to file a claim against them with the Oregon Contractors Board. In addition, I filed a Small Claims suit in Clackamas County (the County where the work was performed) that eventually went before a Circuit Court Judge. The Judge ruled in my favor and I was awarded a judgement in the amount of $10,585.52. The owners of Floor Connections (Jason Aw and Poh Aun Aw) never acknowledged the judgement, so I therefore had to file a claim against their surety bond in order to get paid. Their insurance company paid the claim. My suggestion to anyone reading this is run as fast as you can from Floor Connections and find a reliable and legitimate company for your flooring needs.
