Mark Sembrat is extremely professional, skilled, intelligent and thorough. Every time I come to his office he treats me like a VIP. My work schedule is tough and he makes himself available outside of the normal office hours because he cares. He has taught me about the anatomy of my back and shared his thoughts on my treatment options. He is billing my medical insurance which is also amazing. I am very thankful for Mark. read more

Dr. Sembrat is thorough, kind, flexible and knows his way around these old bones of mine! I have been to many chiropractors, I'm a huge fan, but Dr. Sembrat goes above and beyond. He takes his time to get to know what you need. He works around even the most impossibly chaotic schedules (mine). He makes you feel at ease the moment you enter. He is honest about the care he provides and never makes me feel rushed. He's just the best! read more

Dr. Sembrat is wonderful! Thoroughly explains everything, was very patient with all of my questions and was able to fix me back up!

Dr. Sembrat has been a lifesaver! Having pain in both legs, he was very knowledgeable and able to address my issues. As a physical therapist myself (who is very picky about who "works" on my body), I find Dr. Sembrat's skill set very strong and was exactly the adjunct that I needed! He is also very accommodating on scheduling and providing services as needed. Will definitely be recommending him to any of my clients too! read more

My family and I have gone to Dr. Mark for about 10 years just for "tune-ups". I haven't needed to see him for anything too serious, just minor adjustments. Until recently... I have always had that pain you get in the shoulder/neck area on my right side, but never on my left side. About a month and a half ago, the pain started on my left side and was pretty intense, radiating down my arm. I was having trouble sleeping and my migraines also came back; I have had 3 in the last 6 weeks. I remember I had seen Dr. Mark for migraines in the past and he mentioned it's probably from my neck issues. So I called him up and he fit me in. The day after I saw him, the pain in my shoulder/neck was about 75% better and the next day was about 90% better. Absolutely shocking. I thought for sure I'd have to go see a doctor and get physical therapy for this. He has saved me from pain and time. Priceless. I have to say in the past when my migraines have come pretty frequently, I go see Dr. Mark and they go away for at least 6 months... if not longer. It's that long in between them when I forget the last one happened. I just really appreciate his service and love the fact he can take away pain - without having to take pills or go through hours of physical therapy. All with spending just a few minutes with you. It's really like magic. read more

Dr. Sembrat is amazing! I was in a car accident when I was 22 weeks pregnant and was at risk of losing the baby. I had months of pain, at times I couldn't even walk. I did physical therapy for months, only pausing to give birth. My baby came early but she is totally fine. The pain was so bad at times I couldn't even feed my baby and PT just wasn't cutting it. My doc mentioned a chiropractor but I was terrified to try. Finally, I got the courage to find a doc and make an apt. I was scared and almost in tears before the apt even started. However, it was only a few minutes in and I felt at ease. Dr. Sembrat explained everything in detail and was so accommodating. In a matter of months, I had overcome a huge phobia of chiropractors and my back pain was almost completely gone! He is absolutely amazing and I highly recommend checking him out, even if you're scared! read more

Dr. Mark Sembrat was the best! I came in with a hurting tailbone and could barely walk, I left being able to touch my toes with no problem. He cracked me right into place. He also put a cooling gel on my back that helped it feel better for the next hour. Dr Sembrat was very respectful and kind, I highly recommend him! Thank you Doctor! read more

I have been to a number of chiropractors over the years and truly believe that Dr. Sembrat is the best. He is professional, kind and really knows what he is doing. He put me right at ease the first visit. He lets you know everything about the treatment and always wants your feedback which I find very professional and comforting. Dr. Mark is my hero! I showed up in his office a month ago with limited mobility and pain in my hip, lower back and cervical spine. He took an hour running multiple tests to pinpoint the problem areas and explained everything he was doing. We started with aggressive treatment 2x/week and have now tapered off to 1x a week and I feel like I've gotten younger and taller, and the pain is gone. I am so thankful I took the first steps to get an appointment. Dr. Sembrat is the best!! read more

Dr. Mark is an awesome health professional. I went to see him in constant pain and with very limited range of motion after injuring my back. I could not walk without pain, let alone do my daily runs. I've seen him for several weeks and am much improved, on my way to running again. He actively listened to me, and explained thoroughly my treatment as well as any questions I've had. He is very available and saw me at times convenient to me. I appreciate what he has done for me and cannot recommend him more highly. read more

I first saw Dr. Sembrat a few years ago, while I was dealing with back spasms. I had seen another chiropractor for three or four sessions, and wasn't seeing any relief at all. Nada. To say I was skeptical when a friend recommend Dr. Sembrat would be understatement. During my first visit, Dr. Sembrat listened to my symptoms, and gave me a thorough exam. He then walked me through what was going on, and explained the sort of adjustments he would be doing. While I showed no improvement with previous chiropractor, after Dr. Sembrat worked on me, I felt better that day. I visited him every other day over the next two weeks, and saw improvement that was both surprising and welcome. Since then, I've gone back to him from time to time for a quick "tune up." He's absolutely wonderful. He's friendly. He's caring. He remembers pretty much everything about me. And most of all, you walk out feeling better than you did when you walked in. read more

I went to Dr. Sembrat after really messing up my back building a redwood deck for my sister. It was a Tuesday and I could hardly walk, I had to get on a 2 hour flight on Friday morning followed by a 3 hour drive to see my son at school for our first Parents weekend. I knew I needed help if I was going to survive. I searched the internet looking for a good chiropractor and came across Dr. Mark Sembrat. I called him and he made room to see me that afternoon. After a treatment on Tuesday I was still sore (as expected by Dr. Sembrat) on Wednesday. By the Thursday though I was starting to feel much better but it was still painful to get moving in the morning. I had made an appointment for another treatment for Thursday afternoon. I woke up at 5AM on Friday for my flight and I was amazed that I was not in terrible pain. In fact I was feeling almost normal. I survived the trip without my back getting any worse. Dr. Sembrat did an outstanding job. I never would have believed that he could have me walking upright and pain free in such a short amount of time. Here is what impressed me even more with Dr. Sembrat. After the Thursday appointment I had scheduled follow up appointments for the following Tuesday and Thursday (I thought it was going to take much longer to get all the stiffness and kinks worked out). By Tuesday I was feeling 100% normal. When I showed up for my appointment I couldn't thank Dr. Sembrat enough for helping me enjoy my weekend with my son. Dr. Sembrat commented on how good my back was looking and suggested that I did not need to come in on Thursday if I agreed. What Chiropractor would tell you that you didn't need to keep a scheduled appointment? WOW, I was impressed. Even though it is a bit of a drive from Clayton to Danville, Dr. Sembrat has my business from here on out. read more

We have been to several outstanding Chiropractors in this area. I have a strong affinity for chiropractics as part of our overall health plan....having been in construction, and especially during the economic meltdown, we needed to establish a good affordable family plan. I visited Dr Mark Sembrat on the referral of a good friend....the first thing I noticed when I entered the office is two massage chairs...what a great idea.... get a little loosening up while I wait....after my initial exam and adjustment and a review of his fee schedule, I knew he would be just right for us.....BUT what I found out after being in his care for a short while is the amazing degree of CARE Dr. Mark has for his clients....He definitely goes the extra mile. My wife's health has improved, and she is thrilled now that she is on a weekly schedule. Lifestyle Chiropractic is an A+ in our book! read more

First of all, I must confess that I really didn't think/believe that a chiropractor could really do much for me as I had been dealing with chronic back/sciatica pain for about 7 years (and I'm only 33); however, this all changed after seeing Dr. Sembrat ONCE. Despite my pain, I like to stay active and had decided that I was going to do the Tough Mudder race this coming September. I knew Dr. Sembrat was an active guy, but while sitting in the waiting room for my appointment, I also noticed that Dr. Sembrat had completed the Tough Mudder last year. I was a bit hesitant to bring it up to him that I had already signed up for the race in September because I was afraid he would say that I really couldn't do that with my back being so bad; however, once I brought it up - his eyes lit up and he even invited me to be on his team. This may sound insignificant, but just THIS gave me hope that I could feel better and that not only did I want to be active, but HE wanted this for me as well (and I'm not talking about a leisurely jog, swim, or hike - the Tough Mudder is INTENSE). Anyway, after having been to physical therapy and being offered $1,000's of dollars worth of pain medications, I went to see Dr. Sembrat out of desperation. After my first visit (individual results may vary) I was already feeling so much better - better than any pain meds I had (reluctantly) tried. I went to work the next day and told about 4 people how amazed I was. The next week when I returned to Dr. Sembrat, the first thing I told him was "I didn't believe in him - but he REALLY helped me!" He laughed, but I was really serious. I highly recommend Dr. Sembrat to everyone and anyone. He really listens to his patients and walks you through what he's doing (this was great for me because I want to know what's happening and I was a bit afraid of the whole cracking and popping). Thanks Dr. Sembrat! read more

Dr. Sembrat is amazing! I developed a locked jaw from TMJ over 6 weeks ago. After going to the dentist and consulting with an oral surgeon, taking muscle relaxants, it was not resolved. I contacted Dr. Sembrat for help. He immediately took me in and evaluated the problem and confirmed the diagnosis. After 2 visits, I am able to open my mouth, eat and not experience any pain. I trust Dr. Sembrat. He is gentle and explains everything before proceeding. I can't thank him enough! Know that you are in good hands with him! He is an amazing and talented professional! read more

We found Dr. Mark orginally for my wife, she wanted a Chiropractor that gave the time locate problem issues along with a great adjustment, Dr. Mark takes the time to massage before the adjustment so your body is at ease during the adjustment which gets to the root of the problem area. My wifes knee was giving her a lot of pain, Dr. Mark looked at it and did the adjustment and now she is pain free. If you are searching for a Chiropractor that is very skilled and offers private office, well then you found him. We couldn't be happier. read more

I have been going to Chriopractors for over 20 years and let me tell you that my first adjustment that I got from Dr. Mark last week is probably one of the most thorough and effective adjustments that I've ever had! My wife started going to Dr. Mark about 4 months ago and loves him....but I stuck with our old Chiropractor of 13 years. Well, last week my doc went out of town for Spring Break, and I needed an adjustment prior to heading out of town myself. Gave Dr. Mark a call and he squeezed me in last minute, no problem. And before I forget, those 2 massage chairs he has in his waiting room are incredible and must have cost him a fortune, as they are definitely upper end chairs that even massage your calf muscles! I hate to say it, because my Chiropractor hasn't done anything wrong, but I think Dr. Mark may have just become my #1 Chiropractor for many years to come! Give him a try...you will be impressed with his genuine concern for your well being! read more

I can't recommend Dr. Mark enough. Not only is he compassionate, very skilled and a pleasure to work with he is a consummate professional. Having seen several chiropractors in the past I never once got the sense that Dr. Mark wanted to prescribe treatments for me that I didn't need. He listened to my specific complaint and worked with me to figure out the best way to get me feeling better again (mid back pain). On top of that he was simply a pleasure to interact with. Without hesitation I recommend him to all of my friends and family that need chiropractic work. read more

I've been using Mark to help with neck and back discomfort for the last 5 years. I initially found him from a family friend (and fellow volleyball players) recommendation. Mark is an incredible chiropractor because he has a great way of explaining to me where he can help. He talks me through each move and has always left me feeling brand new after each visit. I've seen many different chiropractors in my life, more than a dozen, and even though I live over an hour away now I still have to make the trip to see Mark. I don't know if its just because he is the best at what he does, or he is such a good caring individual I feel more welcome. Regardless I always look forward to my visits, and he has saved my life from years of back pain. Thank you Mark. read more

Dr. Sembrat is the best. I recently had major back pain and sciatic nerve problems. My toes were completely numb. He took me in and explained to me what the problem may be. He patiently answered my quirky questions, and began treatment. After determining that I had a more serious problem, he referred me to another doctor for a consultation. I really respect a Chiropractor, or for that matter any doctor, who knows when to refer a patient. Although I have been advised to temporarily cease chiropractic care, I will certainly coming back when my body has healed to the point where I can achieve wellness through Chiropractic. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Sembrat. So if you are having back or any other joint problems, large or small, Call Dr. Sembrat. Your path to wellness starts with him. Thank you Dr. Sembrat... Dr. Sembrat is absolutely fabulous! He has a gentle but effective approach to healing. At my first appointment, Dr. S. took a great deal of time to get to know me and my symptoms and my desired "outcome" - i.e.: no pain, of course! He discussed how we would approach treatment together, and what the treatment plan would entail. He is caring, funny, smart and I have found his approach and treatment to be very effective for me so far - I've had several treatments in close succession at first (weekly), and am currently on more of a maintenance plan at this time (1x a month). I always feel like a million bucks after a adjustment! read more
